cheated me twice. He took my
birthright, and now he has taken my
blessing.” Then he asked, “

blessing for me?”

Esau said unto his father, Hast thou but one

blessings of the depths below, with
blessings of the breasts and
womb.

blessings of the ancient mountains and the
bounty of the
everlasting hills. May they rest on the head of Joseph, on the
brow of the prince of his brothers.

The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:

And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.
So they shall put My name on the Israelites, and I will bless them.”
Come now therefore, I pray thee,
curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me:
peradventure I shall prevail, that we may
smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land: for I
wot that he whom thou
blessest is
blessed, and he whom thou cursest is
cursed.
So please come now and put a
curse on this people, because they are too mighty for me. Perhaps I may be able to defeat them and drive them out of the land; for I know that those you
bless are
blessed, and those you
curse are
cursed.”

blesseth thee, and

lioness, who
dares to
rouse him?
Blessed are those who
bless you and
cursed are those who
curse you.”

bless the fruit of thy
womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy

sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
He will love you and
bless you and multiply you. He will
bless the fruit of your
womb and the produce of your land—your grain, new wine, and oil, the young of your herds and the lambs of your flocks—in the land that He
swore to your fathers to give you.

a
blessing if you obey the commandments of the LORD your God that I am giving you
today,

whither thou goest to possess it, that thou shalt put the
blessing upon mount
Gerizim, and the
curse upon mount
Ebal.

proclaim the
blessing on Mount
Gerizim and the
curse on Mount
Ebal.
And there ye shall eat before the LORD your God, and ye shall
rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein the LORD thy God hath
blessed thee.
There, in the presence of the LORD your God, you and your households shall eat and
rejoice in all you do, because the LORD your God has
blessed you.
