vanished from among men.
In my distress I called upon the LORD, and
cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.

cried to my God for
help. From His temple He heard my voice, and my cry for His
help reached His ears.
They
cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.
They
cried for
help, but there was no one to save them— to the LORD, but He did not answer.
May He send you
help from the sanctuary and
sustain you from
Zion.
My God, my God, why hast thou
forsaken me? why art thou so far from
helping me, and from the words of my
roaring?

forsaken me? Why are You so far from saving me, so far from my words of
groaning?

haste thee to
help me.

Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my
help; leave me not, neither
forsake me, O God of my salvation.

helper; do not leave me or
forsake me, O God of my salvation.

helped. Therefore my heart rejoices, and I give
thanks to Him with my song.
O LORD my God, I
cried unto thee, and thou hast
healed me.

cried to You for
help, and You
healed me.

Hear me, O LORD, and have mercy; O LORD, be my helper.”
For I said in my
haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I
cried unto thee.
In my
alarm I said, “I am cut off from Your sight!” But You heard my

help.

help; do not be
deaf to my
weeping. For I am a foreigner dwelling with You, a stranger like all my fathers.

haste to
help me.
Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me;
hurry, O LORD, to
help me.

needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my
help and my deliverer; make no

helper and deliverer; O my God, do not delay.
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.

haste, O God, to deliver me; make
haste to

haste unto me, O God: thou art my
help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no
tarrying.

help and my deliverer; O LORD, do not delay.

token for good; that they which

helped me and comforted me.

help him up!
And what will ye do in the day of
visitation, and in the
desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye
flee for
help? and where will ye leave your glory?

reckoning when
devastation comes from

flee for
help? Where will you leave your wealth?

flourish: but the harvest shall be a
heap in the day of grief and of

help your seed
sprout— yet the harvest will
vanish on the day of disease and incurable pain.

flee for

help; and stay on horses, and trust in
chariots, because they are many; and in
horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!

help, who
rely on horses, who trust in their abundance of

holpen shall fall down, and they all shall fail together.

helps will fall; both will perish together.

strengthen you; I will surely
help you; I will
uphold you with My right hand of righteousness.

help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be

And I looked, and there was none to
help; and I wondered that there was none to
uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my

prosper by their
help.”

Heshbon because of the force: but a fire shall come forth out of

devour the corner of Moab, and the crown of the head of the

“Those who
flee will stand
helpless in
Heshbon’s shadow, because fire has gone forth from
Heshbon and a flame from within Sihon. It devours the foreheads of Moab and the skulls of the sons of
tumult.
Jerusalem remembered in the days of her
affliction and of her
miseries all her pleasant things that she had in the days of old, when her people fell into the hand of the enemy, and none did
help her: the
adversaries saw her, and did

For the punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of my people is greater than the punishment of the sin of

help her.

chase after them.

Sodom, pride,
fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she
strengthen the hand of the poor and
needy.
Now this was the iniquity of your sister
Sodom: She and her daughters were
arrogant, overfed, and
complacent; they did not
help the poor and
needy.

Pharaoh with his mighty army and vast
horde will not
help him in battle, when ramps are built and siege walls constructed to destroy many lives.

helpers are
shattered.
The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of
hell with them that
help him: they are gone down, they lie
uncircumcised, slain by the sword.
Mighty chiefs will speak from the midst of
Sheol about Egypt and her allies: ‘They have come down and lie with the
uncircumcised, with those slain by the sword.’
Now as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright.
While he was speaking with me, I fell into a deep sleep, with my face to the ground. Then he touched me, helped me to my feet,
But the prince of the kingdom of Persia
withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to
help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
However, the prince of the kingdom of Persia opposed me for twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia.
He shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus shall he do: and he shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him.
He will
resolve to come with the strength of his whole kingdom, and will reach an agreement with the king of the South. He will give him a daughter in marriage in order to overthrow the kingdom, but his plan will not succeed or
help him.

holpen with a little
help: but many shall
cleave to them with
flatteries.

help, but many will join them

Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.
He will attack the strongest fortresses with the help of a foreign god and will greatly honor those who acknowledge him, making them rulers over many and distributing the land for a price.
And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

O Israel, thou hast destroyed
thyself; but in me is thine
help.
You are destroyed, O Israel, because you are against Me— against your helper.
