And he shall stand before
Eleazar the priest, who shall ask counsel for him after
the judgment of
Urim before
the LORD: at his word shall
they go out, and at his word
they shall come in, both he, and all
the children of Israel with him, even all
the congregation.
He shall stand before
Eleazar the priest, who will seek counsel for him before
the LORD by
the judgment of
the Urim. At his command, he and all
the Israelites with him—
the entire congregation—will go out and come in.”
And Moses did as
the LORD commanded him: and he took Joshua, and set him before
Eleazar the priest, and before all
the congregation:
Moses did as
the LORD had commanded him. He took Joshua, had him stand before
Eleazar the priest and
the whole congregation,
And he laid his hands upon him, and gave him a charge, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
and laid his hands on him and commissioned him, as
the LORD had
instructed through Moses.
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Then the LORD said to Moses,
Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, My offering, and my bread for my sacrifices made by fire, for a sweet savour unto me, shall ye observe to offer unto me in their due season.
“Command
the Israelites and say to
them: See that you present to Me at its appointed time
the food for My offerings by fire, as a pleasing
aroma to Me.
And thou shalt say unto them, This is the offering made by fire which ye shall offer unto the LORD; two lambs of the first year without spot day by day, for a continual burnt offering.
And tell
them that this is
the offering made by fire you are to present to
the LORD as a regular burnt offering each day: two
unblemished year-old male lambs.
The one lamb shalt thou offer in the morning, and the other lamb shalt thou offer at even;
Offer one lamb in
the morning and
the other at
twilight,
And a tenth part of an
ephah of flour for a meat offering, mingled with
the fourth part of an
hin of beaten oil.
along with a tenth of an

hin of oil from pressed olives.

Sinai for a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto
the LORD.

the LORD.
And
the drink offering
thereof shall be
the fourth part of an
hin for
the one lamb: in
the holy place shalt thou cause
the strong wine to be poured unto
the LORD for a drink offering.
The drink offering accompanying each lamb shall be a quarter
hin. Pour out
the offering of
fermented drink to
the LORD in
the sanctuary area.
And the other lamb shalt thou offer at even: as the meat offering of the morning, and as the drink offering thereof, thou shalt offer it, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
And offer
the second lamb at
twilight, with
the same grain offering and drink offering as in
the morning. It is an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma to
the LORD.
And on the sabbath day two lambs of the first year without spot, and two tenth deals of flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, and the drink offering thereof:
On
the Sabbath day, present two

And Moses told the children of Israel according to all that the LORD commanded Moses.
So Moses spoke all this to the Israelites just as the LORD had commanded him.
And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded.
Then Moses said to the heads of the tribes of Israel, “This is what the LORD has commanded:
If a man
vow a
vow unto
the LORD, or
swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.
If a man makes a
vow to
the LORD or swears an oath to
obligate himself by a
pledge, he must not break his word; he must do everything he has promised.
If a woman also
vow a
vow unto
the LORD, and bind herself by a bond, being in her father’s house in her youth;
And if a woman in her father’s house during her youth makes a
vow to
the LORD or obligates herself by a
pledge,
And her father hear her
vow, and her bond
wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her:
then all her vows shall stand, and every bond
wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.
and her father hears about her
vow or
pledge but says nothing to her,
then all
the vows or pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand.
But if her father disallow her in
the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds
wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and
the LORD shall
forgive her, because her father disallowed her.
But if her father prohibits her on
the day he hears about it,
then none of
the vows or pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand.
The LORD will
absolve her because her father has prohibited her.
And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her in
the day that he heard it:
then her vows shall stand, and her bonds
wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
and her husband hears of it but says nothing to her on that day, then the vows or pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand.
But if her husband disallowed her on
the day that he heard it;
then he shall make her
vow which she
vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips,
wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and
the LORD shall
forgive her.
But if her husband prohibits her when he hears of it, he nullifies
the vow that binds her or
the rash promise she has made, and
the LORD will
absolve her.
But every
vow of a widow, and of her that is
divorced,
wherewith they have bound
their souls, shall stand against her.
And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not:
then all her vows shall stand, and every bond
wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
and her husband hears of it but says nothing to her and does not
prohibit her,
then all
the vows or pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand.
But if her husband hath utterly made
them void on
the day he heard
them;
then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning
the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made
them void; and
the LORD shall
forgive her.
But if her husband nullifies
them on
the day he hears of
them,
then nothing that came from her lips, whether her vows or pledges, shall stand. Her husband has
nullified them, and
the LORD will
absolve her.
Every
vow, and every binding oath to
afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void.
But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard them.
But if her husband says nothing to her from day to day, then he confirms all the vows and pledges that bind her. He has confirmed them, because he said nothing to her on the day he heard about them.
But if he shall any ways make them void after that he hath heard them; then he shall bear her iniquity.
But if he nullifies them after he hears of them, then he will bear her iniquity.”
These are the statutes, which the LORD commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth in her father’s house.
These are the statutes that the LORD commanded Moses concerning the relationship between a man and his wife, and between a father and a young daughter still in his home.
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
And the LORD said to Moses,
Avenge the children of Israel of
the Midianites: afterward shalt thou be gathered unto thy people.
“Take
vengeance on
the Midianites for
the Israelites. After that, you will be gathered to your people.”
And Moses spake unto
the people, saying, Arm some of
yourselves unto
the war, and let
them go against
the Midianites, and
avenge the LORD of
Midian.
So Moses told
the people, “Arm some of your men for war, that
they may go against
the Midianites and
execute the LORD’s
vengeance on
them.
Of every tribe a thousand, throughout all the tribes of Israel, shall ye send to the war.
Send into battle a thousand men from each tribe of Israel.”
So there were delivered out of the thousands of Israel, a thousand of every tribe, twelve thousand armed for war.
So a thousand men were
recruited from each tribe of Israel—twelve thousand armed for war.
And Moses sent
them to
the war, a thousand of every tribe,
them and
Phinehas the son of
Eleazar the priest, to
the war, with
the holy instruments, and
the trumpets to blow in his hand.
And Moses sent
the thousand from each tribe into battle, along with
Phinehas son of
Eleazar the priest, who took with him
the vessels of
the sanctuary and
the trumpets for signaling.
And
they warred against
the Midianites, as
the LORD commanded Moses; and
they slew all
the males.
Then they waged war against
Midian, as
the LORD had commanded Moses, and
they killed every male.
And
they slew the kings of
Midian, beside
the rest of
them that were slain; namely, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, five kings of
Midian:
Balaam also
the son of Beor
they slew with
the sword.
Among
the slain were Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba—
the five kings of
Midian.
They also killed
Balaam son of Beor with
the sword.
And
the children of Israel took all
the women of
Midian captives, and
their little ones, and took
the spoil of all
their cattle, and all
their flocks, and all
their goods.
The Israelites captured
the Midianite women and
their children, and
they plundered all
their herds, flocks, and goods.
And they burnt all their cities wherein they dwelt, and all their goodly castles, with fire.
Then they burned all the cities where the Midianites had lived, as well as all their encampments,
And
they took all
the spoil, and all
the prey, both of men and of beasts.
and carried away all
the plunder and spoils, both people and animals.
And
they brought
the captives, and
the prey, and
the spoil, unto Moses, and
Eleazar the priest, and unto
the congregation of
the children of Israel, unto
the camp at
the plains of Moab, which are by Jordan near
Jericho.
They brought
the captives, spoils, and
plunder to Moses, to
Eleazar the priest, and to
the congregation of Israel at
the camp on
the plains of Moab, by
the Jordan across from
Jericho.
And Moses, and
Eleazar the priest, and all
the princes of
the congregation, went forth to meet
them without
the camp.
And Moses,
Eleazar the priest, and all
the leaders of
the congregation went to meet
them outside
the camp.
