Flee, get you far off, dwell deep, O ye inhabitants of Hazor, saith the LORD; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath taken counsel against you, and hath conceived a purpose against you.
Run! Escape quickly! Lie low, O residents of Hazor,” declares the LORD, “for
Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has
drawn up a plan against you; he has devised a
strategy against you.
Put
yourselves in
array against Babylon round about: all ye that bend the bow, shoot at her,
spare no arrows: for she hath
sinned against the LORD.
Line up in formation around Babylon, all you who
draw the bow! Shoot at her!
Spare no arrows! For she has
sinned against the LORD.
Therefore hear ye the counsel of the LORD, that he hath taken against Babylon; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the land of the Chaldeans: Surely the least of the flock shall
draw them out: surely he shall make their
habitation desolate with them.
Therefore hear the plans that the LORD has
drawn up against Babylon and the strategies He has devised against the land of the Chaldeans: Surely the little ones of the flock will be
dragged away; certainly their pasture will be made
desolate because of them.
He hath cut off in his fierce anger all the horn of Israel: he hath drawn back his right hand from before the enemy, and he burned against Jacob like a flaming fire, which devoureth round about.
In fierce anger He has cut off every horn of Israel and withdrawn His right hand at the approach of the enemy. He has burned in Jacob like a flaming fire that consumes everything around it.
Even the sea monsters
draw out the breast, they give
suck to their young ones: the daughter of my people is become cruel, like the ostriches in the wilderness.
Even jackals offer their breasts to
nurse their young, but the daughter of my people has become cruel, like an
ostrich in the wilderness.
Thou also, son of man, take thee a
tile, and lay it before thee, and
pourtray upon it the city, even Jerusalem:
“Now you, son of man, take a brick, place it before you, and draw on it the city of Jerusalem.
Thou shalt burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a third part, and
smite about it with a knife: and a third part thou shalt
scatter in the wind; and I will
draw out a sword after them.
When the days of the siege have ended, you are to burn up a third of the hair inside the city; you are also to take a third and
slash it with the sword all around the city; and you are to
scatter a third to the wind. For I will
unleash a sword behind them.
A third part of thee shall die with the
pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of thee: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about thee and I will
scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will
draw out a sword after them.
A third of your people will die by plague or be consumed by famine within you, a third will fall by the sword outside your walls, and a third I will
scatter to every wind and
unleash a sword behind them.
The time is come, the day
draweth near: let not the
buyer rejoice, nor the seller
mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
The time has come; the day has arrived. Let the
buyer not
rejoice and the seller not
mourn, for wrath is upon the whole multitude.
He
cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to
draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.
Then I heard Him call out in a loud voice, saying, “Draw near, O executioners of the city, each with a weapon of destruction in hand.”
And I will
scatter toward every wind all that are about him to help him, and all his bands; and I will
draw out the sword after them.
And I will
scatter to every wind all the attendants around him and all his troops, and I will
draw a sword to
chase after them.
And say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I am against thee, and will
draw forth my sword out of his
sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.
and tell her that this is what the LORD says: ‘I am against you, and I will
draw My sword from its
sheath and cut off from you both the righteous and the wicked.
That all flesh may know that I the LORD have
drawn forth my sword out of his
sheath: it shall not return any more.
Then all flesh will know that I, the LORD, have taken My sword from its
sheath, not to return it again.’
I have set the point of the sword against all their gates, that their heart may
faint, and their ruins be multiplied:
ah! it is made bright, it is
wrapped up for the slaughter.
So that their hearts may
melt and many may
stumble, I have appointed at all their gates a sword for slaughter.
Yes, it is ready to
flash like
lightning; it is
drawn for slaughter.
And it shall be unto them as a false
divination in their sight, to them that have
sworn oaths: but he will call to
remembrance the iniquity, that they may be taken.
It will seem like a false
omen to the eyes of those who have
sworn allegiance to him, but it will
draw attention to their guilt and take them
captive.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that ye are come to
remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand.
Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Because you have
drawn attention to your guilt,
exposing your transgressions, so that your sins are revealed in all your deeds—because you have come to
remembrance—you shall be taken in hand.
And thou, son of man,
prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning the
Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even say thou, The sword, the sword is
drawn: for the slaughter it is
furbished, to
consume because of the
glittering:
Now
prophesy, son of man, and declare that this is what the Lord GOD says concerning the
Ammonites and their contempt: ‘A sword! A sword is
drawn for slaughter, polished to
consume, to
flash like
lightning—
Thou art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast shed; and hast
defiled thyself in thine idols which thou hast made; and thou hast caused thy days to
draw near, and art come even unto thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the heathen, and a
mocking to all countries.
you are guilty of the blood you have shed, and you are
defiled by the idols you have made. You have brought your days to a close and have come to the end of your years. Therefore I have made you a reproach to the nations and a
mockery to all the lands.
Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall
draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall
defile thy brightness.
behold, I will bring foreigners against you, the most
ruthless of nations. They will
draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom and will
defile your
splendor.
He and his people with him, the terrible of the nations, shall be brought to destroy the land: and they shall draw their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain.
He and his people with him, the most
ruthless of the nations, will be brought in to destroy the land. They will
draw their swords against Egypt and fill the land with the slain.
Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will therefore spread out my net over thee with a company of many people; and they shall bring thee up in my net.

drag her away along with all her multitudes.
They shall enter into my sanctuary, and they shall come near to my table, to minister unto me, and they shall keep my charge.
They alone shall enter My sanctuary and draw near to My table to minister before Me. They will keep My charge.
The holy portion of the land shall be for the priests the ministers of the sanctuary, which shall come near to minister unto the LORD: and it shall be a place for their houses, and an holy place for the sanctuary.
It will be a holy portion of the land to be used by the priests who minister in the sanctuary, who draw near to minister before the LORD. It will be a place for their houses, as well as a holy area for the sanctuary.
Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war,
wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war
draw near; let them come up:
Proclaim this among the nations: “Prepare for war;
rouse the mighty men; let all the men of war advance and attack!
All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us.
All the sinners among My people will die by the sword— all those who say, ‘
Disaster will never
draw near or
confront us.’”
And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of
Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our borders.
And they will rule the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of
Nimrod with the
blade drawn. So He will deliver us when Assyria invades our land and marches into our borders.

strengthen your fortresses. Work the clay and
tread the mortar; repair the brick
kiln!

heeded no voice; she accepted no correction. She does not trust in the LORD; she has not
drawn near to her God.

heap of twenty measures, there were but ten: when one came to the pressfat for to
draw out fifty vessels out of the press, there were but twenty.
from that time, when one came expecting a
heap of twenty ephahs of grain, there were but ten. When one came to the winepress to
draw out fifty baths, there were but twenty.
And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that
oppress the
hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.
“Then I will
draw near to you for judgment. And I will be a swift witness against sorcerers and adulterers and perjurers, against oppressors of the widowed and fatherless, and against those who
defraud laborers of their wages and deny justice to the foreigner but do not fear Me,” says the LORD of Hosts.

heed that ye be not
deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time
draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
Jesus answered, “See to it that you are not
deceived. For many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not follow them.
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your
redemption draweth nigh.
When these things begin to happen, stand up and lift up your heads, because your
redemption is
drawing near.”
And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.
“Now
draw some out,” He said, “and take it to the master of the
banquet.” They did so,
When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the
bridegroom,
and the master of the
banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not know where it was from, but the servants who had
drawn the water knew. Then he called the
bridegroom aside
There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
When a
Samaritan woman came to
draw water, Jesus said to her, “Give Me a drink.”
The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
“Sir,” the woman replied, “You have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where then will You get this living water?
The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I
thirst not, neither come
hither to
draw.
The woman said to Him, “Sir, give me this water so that I will not get
thirsty and have to keep coming here to
draw water.”
And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may
rejoice together.
Already the
reaper draws his wages and gathers a crop for eternal life, so that the
sower and the
reaper may
rejoice together.
So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and
drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid.

terrified.

haul it in because of the great number of fish.

selves shall men arise, speaking
perverse things, to
draw away disciples after them.
Even from your own number, men will rise up and
distort the truth to
draw away disciples after them.
The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
The night is nearly over; the day has
drawn near. So let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the
armor of light.
For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the
circumcision.
For before certain men came from James, he used to eat with the Gentiles. But when they arrived, he began to
draw back and separate himself, for fear of those in the
circumcision group.
But the younger widows refuse: for when they have begun to wax
wanton against Christ, they will marry;
But refuse to
enroll younger widows. For when their passions
draw them away from Christ, they will want to marry,
For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we
draw nigh unto God.
(for the law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God.
Wherefore he is able also to save them to the
uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make
intercession for them.
Therefore He is able to save completely those who
draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to
intercede for them.
For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers
thereunto perfect.
For the law is only a shadow of the good things to come, not the
realities themselves. It can never, by the same sacrifices offered year after year, make perfect those who
draw near to worship.
Let us
draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts
sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
let us
draw near with a
sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts
sprinkled to
cleanse us from a guilty conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
But My righteous one will live by faith; and if he shrinks back, I will take no pleasure in him.”
But we are not of them who
draw back unto
perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
But we are not of those who
shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls.
But ye have
despised the poor. Do not rich men
oppress you, and
draw you before the judgment seats?
But you have dishonored the poor. Is it not the rich who
oppress you and
drag you into court?
Draw nigh to God, and he will
draw nigh to you.
Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and
purify your hearts, ye double minded.
Draw near to God, and He will
draw near to you.
Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and
purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Be ye also patient;
stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord
draweth nigh.
You, too, be patient and
strengthen your hearts, because the Lord’s coming is near.

forget their love both to friends and brethren, and a little after
draw out swords:

draweth now
nigh unto age.
And it said, Behold, the days come, that I will begin to
draw nigh, and to visit them that dwell upon the earth,
For thou comest far short that thou shouldest be able to love my creature more than I: but I have
ofttimes drawn nigh unto thee, and unto it, but never to the unrighteous.
For the sword and their destruction
draweth nigh, and one people shall stand up and fight against another, and swords in their hands.
Behold, the plagues
draw nigh, and are not
slack.
For, lo, it will be a shame for our person, if we shall let such a woman go, not having had her company; for if we
draw her not unto us, she will
laugh us to
scorn.
Even so we in like manner, as soon as we were born, began to
draw to our end, and had no sign of virtue to
shew; but were consumed in our own wickedness.
Then shall the right aiming thunderbolts go abroad; and from the clouds, as from a well drawn bow, shall they fly to the mark.

And he will shame thee by his meats, until he have
drawn thee dry twice or
thrice, and at the last he will
laugh thee to
scorn afterward, when he
seeth thee, he will
forsake thee, and
shake his head at thee.
Well is he that is defended through the
venom thereof; who hath not
drawn the yoke thereof, nor hath been bound in her bands.

bran for
perfume: but if any of them,
drawn by some that passeth by, lie with him, she reproacheth her fellow, that she was not thought as worthy as herself, nor her cord broken.
Then commanded he them to
draw it up, and to bring it; and when the sacrifices were laid on, Neemias commanded the priests to
sprinkle the wood and the things laid
thereupon with the water.
