gracious, and will
shew mercy on whom I will
shew mercy.

goodness to pass before you,” the LORD replied, “and I will
proclaim My name—the LORD—in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have
compassion on whom I have
compassion.”

goodness and truth,

goodness the LORD shall do unto us, the same will we do unto thee.
If you come with us, we will share with you whatever good things the LORD gives us.”
And the LORD thy God will make thee
plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again
rejoice over thee for good, as he
rejoiced over thy fathers:
So the LORD your God will make you abound in all the work of your hands and in the fruit of your
womb, the offspring of your
livestock, and the produce of your land. Indeed, the LORD will again delight in your
goodness, as He delighted in that of your fathers,

Hezekiah, and his
goodness, behold, they are written in the vision of Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, and in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.
As for the rest of the acts of

Now the rest of the acts of
Josiah, and his
goodness, according to that which was written in the law of the LORD,

And they took strong cities, and a fat land, and possessed houses full of all goods, wells
digged, vineyards, and oliveyards, and fruit trees in abundance: so they did eat, and were filled, and became fat, and delighted themselves in thy great
goodness.
They captured fortified cities and fertile land and took houses full of all goods, wells already
dug, vineyards, olive groves, and fruit trees in abundance. So they
ate and were filled; they grew fat and delighted in Your great
goodness.
For they have not served thee in their kingdom, and in thy great goodness that thou gavest them, and in the large and fat land which thou gavest before them, neither turned they from their wicked works.
For even while they were in their kingdom, with the abundant
goodness that You had given them, and in the
spacious and fertile land that You had set before them, they would not serve You or turn from their wicked ways.
Behold, we are servants this day, and for the land that thou gavest unto our fathers to eat the fruit thereof and the good thereof, behold, we are servants in it:
So here we are
today as slaves in the land You gave our fathers to enjoy its fruit and
goodness— here we are as slaves!
O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee;
I said to the LORD, “You are my Lord; apart from You I have no good thing.”

Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness’ sake, O LORD.

rebellious acts; remember me according to Your loving devotion, because of Your
goodness, O LORD.
I had
fainted, unless I had believed to see the
goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
Still I am certain to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!
How great is Your goodness which You have laid up for those who fear You, which You have bestowed before the sons of men on those who take refuge in You!

thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the

boast of evil, O mighty man? The loving devotion of God endures all day long.

goodness of Your house, the
holiness of Your temple.

bounty, and Your paths overflow with
plenty.

Your flock settled therein; O God, from Your
bounty You provided for the poor.
Show me a
token for good; that they which
hate me may see it, and be
ashamed: because thou, LORD, hast helped me, and comforted me.
Show me a sign of Your
goodness, that my enemies may see and be
ashamed; for You, O LORD, have helped me and comforted me.
Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
Let them give
thanks to the LORD for His loving devotion and His wonders to the sons of men.
For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the
hungry soul with
goodness.
For He satisfies the
thirsty and fills the
hungry with good things.
Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
Let them give
thanks to the LORD for His loving devotion and His wonders to the sons of men.
Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
Let them give
thanks to the LORD for His loving devotion and His wonders to the sons of men.
Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
Let them give
thanks to the LORD for His loving devotion and His wonders to the sons of men.
But do thou for me, O GOD the Lord, for thy name’s sake: because thy mercy is good, deliver thou me.
But You, O GOD, the Lord, deal kindly with me for the sake of Your name; deliver me by the goodness of Your loving devotion.
What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?
How can I repay the LORD for all His goodness to me?
Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal
bountifully with me.
Free my soul from prison, that I may praise Your name. The righteous will gather around me because of Your goodness to me.
My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me.
He is my
steadfast love and my fortress, my
stronghold and my deliverer. He is my shield, in whom I take refuge, who subdues peoples under me.
They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.
They will
extol the fame of Your abundant
goodness and sing
joyfully of Your righteousness.
Do they not
err that
devise evil? but mercy and truth shall be to them that
devise good.
Do not those who
contrive evil go
astray? But those who plan
goodness find loving devotion and faithfulness.
Most men will
proclaim every one his own
goodness: but a faithful man who can find?
Many a man proclaims his loving devotion, but who can find a
trustworthy man?
I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great
goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his
mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.
I will make known the LORD’s loving devotion and His
praiseworthy acts, because of all that the LORD has done for us— the many good things for the house of Israel according to His great
compassion and loving devotion.
I brought you into a fertile land to eat its fruit and
bounty, but you came and
defiled My land, and made My inheritance
detestable.
Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of
Zion, and shall flow together to the
goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the
herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.
They will come and
shout for joy on the heights of
Zion; they will be
radiant over the
bounty of the LORD— the grain, new wine, and oil, and the young of the flocks and herds. Their life will be like a well-watered garden, and never again will they
languish.
And I will
satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my
goodness, saith the LORD.
I will fill the souls of the priests abundantly, and will fill My people with My goodness,” declares the LORD.
And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and
tremble for all the
goodness and for all the prosperity that I
procure unto it.
So this city will bring Me
renown, joy, praise, and glory before all the nations of the earth, who will hear of all the good I do for it. They will
tremble in
awe because of all the
goodness and prosperity that I will provide for it.
Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.
Afterward, the people of Israel will return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They will come
trembling to the LORD and to His
goodness in the last days.
O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your
goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early
dew it goeth away.
What shall I do with you, O Ephraim? What shall I do with you, O Judah? For your
loyalty is like a morning
mist, like the early
dew that vanishes.
Israel is an empty vine, he bringeth forth fruit unto himself: according to the multitude of his fruit he hath increased the altars; according to the goodness of his land they have made goodly images.
Israel was a
luxuriant vine, yielding fruit for himself. The more his fruit increased, the more he increased the altars. The better his land produced, the better he made the sacred pillars.
For how great is his
goodness, and how great is his beauty! corn shall make the young men
cheerful, and new wine the maids.
How lovely they will be, and how beautiful! Grain will make the young men
flourish, and new wine, the young women.
Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and
gladness.
Yet He has not left Himself without testimony to His
goodness: He gives you rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling your hearts with food and
gladness.”
Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
Take notice, therefore, of the kindness and severity of God: severity to those who fell, but kindness to you, if you continue in His kindness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.
And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of
goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to
admonish one another.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
longsuffering, gentleness,
goodness, faith,
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
patience, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness,
(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth.
Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
To this end, we always pray for you, that our God will count you worthy of His calling, and that He will powerfully
fulfill your every good desire and work of faith,
But without thy mind would I do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.
But I did not want to do anything without your consent, so that your
goodness will not be out of
compulsion, but by your own free will.
And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age—
And he pardoneth; for if he did not so of his
goodness, that they which have committed
iniquities might be eased of them, the ten
thousandth part of men should not remain living.
For in this, O Lord, thy righteousness and thy
goodness shall be declared, if thou be
merciful unto them which have not the confidence of good works.
For unto you is
paradise opened, the tree of life is planted, the time to come is prepared,
plenteousness is made ready, a city is builded, and rest is allowed,
yea, perfect
goodness and wisdom.
For Aman, a
Macedonian, the son of Amadatha, being indeed a stranger from the Persian blood, and far distant from our
goodness, and as a stranger received of us,
For she is the brightness of the
everlasting light, the
unspotted mirror of the power of God, and the image of his
goodness.
She defended him from his enemies, and kept him safe from those that lay in wait, and in a
sore conflict she gave him the victory; that he might know that
goodness is stronger than all.
Therefore, whereas thou
dost chasten us, thou scourgest our enemies a thousand times more, to the intent that, when we judge, we should carefully think of thy
goodness, and when we ourselves are judged, we should look for mercy.
For they were
pricked, that they should remember thy words; and were quickly saved, that not falling into deep
forgetfulness, they might be continually mindful of thy
goodness.
When thou hast
gotten a fruitful possession through all the field,
sow it with thine own seed, trusting in the
goodness of thy stock.
O Lord our God, thou hast dealt with us after all thy goodness, and according to all that great mercy of thine,
and in me thou
wilt shew all thy
goodness: for thou
wilt save me, that am unworthy, according to thy great mercy.
For it is a
token of his great
goodness, when wicked doers are not suffered any long time, but
forthwith punished.
