Today you have been ordained for service to the LORD, since each man went against his son and his brother; so the LORD has
bestowed a blessing on you this day.”

chariots and
horsemen: and he had a thousand and four hundred

chariot cities and also with him in Jerusalem.

magnified Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel, and

Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!
How great is Your goodness which You have laid up for those who fear You, which You have bestowed before the sons of men on those who take refuge in You!
Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have
exalted one chosen out of the people.
You once spoke in a vision; to Your godly ones You said, “I have
bestowed help on a
warrior; I have
exalted one chosen from the people.
As the
dew of
Hermon, and as the
dew that descended upon the mountains of
Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for
evermore.
It is like the
dew of
Hermon falling on the mountains of
Zion. For there the LORD has
bestowed the blessing of life forevermore.
Go forth, O ye daughters of
Zion, and behold king Solomon with the crown
wherewith his mother crowned him in the day of his
espousals, and in the day of the
gladness of his heart.
Come out, O daughters of
Zion, and
gaze at King Solomon, wearing the crown his mother
bestowed on the day of his
wedding— the day of his heart’s
rejoicing.
Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath
glorified thee.
Surely you will
summon a nation you do not know, and nations who do not know you will run to you. For the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, has
bestowed glory on you.”
I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath

bestowed on them according to his
mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.

renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my
comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.

trembled and feared before him: whom he would he
slew; and whom he would he kept alive; and whom he would he set up; and whom he would he put down.
Because of the greatness that He
bestowed on him, the people of every nation and language
trembled in fear before him. He killed whom he wished and kept alive whom he wished; he
exalted whom he wished and humbled whom he wished.
And I
appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;
And I
bestow on you a kingdom, just as My Father has
bestowed one on Me,
I sent you to
reap that
whereon ye
bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.
I sent you to
reap what you have not worked for; others have done the hard work, and now you have taken up their labor.”
Greet Mary, who
bestowed much labour on us.
Greet Mary, who has worked very hard for you.
But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace to me was not in vain. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.

bestowed upon us by the means of many persons
thanks may be given by many on our behalf.

thanks on our behalf for the favor shown us in answer to their prayers.

I fear for you, that my efforts for you may have been in vain.
