bondmaid,

freed.
Now therefore ye are
cursed, and there shall none of you be
freed from being
bondmen, and hewers of wood and drawers of water for the house of my God.

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath
anointed me to
preach good
tidings unto the

proclaim liberty to the
captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

And ye were now turned, and had done right in my sight, in
proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbour; and ye had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name:

freedom for his
neighbor. You made a covenant before Me in the house that bears My Name.

proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother, and every man to his neighbour: behold, I
proclaim a liberty for you, saith the LORD, to the sword, to the
pestilence, and to the famine; and I will make you to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.
Therefore this is what the LORD says: You have not obeyed Me; you have not proclaimed
freedom, each man for his brother and for his
neighbor. So now I
proclaim freedom for you, declares the LORD—
freedom to fall by sword, by plague, and by famine! I will make you a
horror to all the kingdoms of the earth.
But if he give a gift of his inheritance to one of his servants, then it shall be his to the year of liberty; after it shall return to the prince: but his inheritance shall be his sons’ for them.

freedom; then it will
revert to the prince. His inheritance belongs only to his sons; it shall be theirs.

Art thou called being a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather.
Were you a slave when you were called? Do not let it
concern you—but if you can gain your
freedom, take the opportunity.
For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord’s
freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ’s servant.
For he who was a slave when he was called by the Lord is the Lord’s
freedman.
Conversely, he who was a free man when he was called is Christ’s slave.

whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a

freedom, and continues to do so—not being a
