nation, I do the more
cheerfully answer for myself:

response: “Knowing that you have been a judge over this
nation for many years, I
gladly make my
defense.

alms to my
nation, and offerings.

provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a

foreseeing that God would

nations will be blessed through you.”

blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a
crooked and
perverse generation, in which you
shine as lights in the world
And without controversy great is the
mystery of
godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
By common confession, the
mystery of
godliness is great: He appeared in the flesh, was
vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was proclaimed among the
nations, was believed in throughout the world, was taken up in glory.

nation, a peculiar people; that ye should

proclaim the virtues of Him who called you out of darkness into His

scroll and open its seals, because You were slain, and by Your blood You purchased for God those from every tribe and tongue and people and
nation.
After this I
beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all
nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

nations, and they will
trample the holy city for 42 months.

angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

nation.
And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the
everlasting gospel to
preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every
nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

proclaim to those who dwell on the earth—to every
nation and tribe and tongue and people.

sang the song of God’s servant Moses and of the Lamb: “Great and wonderful are Your works, O Lord God
Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the
nations!
Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and
glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all
nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.
Who will not fear You, O Lord, and
glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. All
nations will come and worship before You, for Your righteous acts have been revealed.”
And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the
nations fell: and great Babylon came in
remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

nations collapsed. And God remembered Babylon the great and gave her the cup of the wine of the
fury of His wrath.
And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the
whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and
nations, and tongues.
Then the angel said to me, “The waters you saw, where the
prostitute was seated, are peoples and multitudes and
nations and tongues.
For all
nations have
drunk of the wine of the wrath of her
fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed
fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her
delicacies.
All the
nations have
drunk the wine of the passion of her immorality. The kings of the earth were immoral with her, and the merchants of the earth have grown wealthy from the
extravagance of her
luxury.”
And the light of a
candle shall
shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the
bridegroom and of the
bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy
sorceries were all
nations deceived.
The light of a lamp will never
shine in you again, and the voices of a
bride and
bridegroom will never call out in you again. For your merchants were the great ones of the earth, because all the
nations were
deceived by your
sorcery.”
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should
smite the
nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of
Almighty God.

nations, and He will rule them with an iron
scepter. He treads the winepress of the
fury of the wrath of God the
Almighty.
And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should
deceive the
nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
And he threw him into the
Abyss, shut it, and sealed it over him, so that he could not
deceive the
nations until the thousand years were complete. After that, he must be released for a brief period of time.
And shall go out to
deceive the
nations which are in the four quarters of the earth,
Gog and
Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
and will go out to
deceive the
nations in the four corners of the earth—
Gog and
Magog—to
assemble them for battle. Their number is like the sand of the
seashore.
And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
By its light the nations will walk, and into it the kings of the earth will bring their glory.
And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
And into the city will be brought the glory and honor of the nations.
In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the
healing of the
nations.

healing of the
nations.
And in all
Jewry they
mourned for Josias,
yea, Jeremy the prophet
lamented for Josias, and the chief men with the women made
lamentation for him unto this day: and this was given out for an
ordinance to be done continually in all the
nation of Israel.
The governors also of the people and of the priests did many things against the laws, and passed all the pollutions of all
nations, and

sanctified in Jerusalem.
The number of them of the nation, and their governors, sons of Phoros, two thousand an hundred seventy and two; the sons of Saphat, four hundred seventy and two:
And there were gathered unto them out of the other
nations of the land, and they erected the altar upon his own place, because all the
nations of the land were at
enmity with them, and
oppressed them; and they offered sacrifices according to the time, and burnt offerings to the Lord both morning and evening.
The Lord therefore, whose name is there called upon, utterly destroy every king and
nation, that stretcheth out his hand to hinder or
endamage that house of the Lord in Jerusalem.
Having determined to deal
graciously, I have given order, that such of the
nation of the Jews, and of the priests and Levites being within our realm, as are willing and
desirous should go with thee unto Jerusalem.
The
nation of Israel, the princes, the priests and Levites, have not put away from them the strange people of the land, nor the pollutions of the Gentiles to wit, of the
Canaanites,
Hittites, Pheresites, Jebusites, and the Moabites, Egyptians, and Edomites.
And
didst give unto us such a root: but we have turned back again to
transgress thy law, and to
mingle ourselves with the uncleanness of the
nations of the land.
Then Jechonias the son of Jeelus, one of the sons of Israel, called out, and said, O
Esdras, we have
sinned against the Lord God, we have married strange women of the
nations of the land, and now is all Israel
aloft.
All the
nations have I destroyed before them, and in the east I have scattered the people of two provinces, even of Tyrus and
Sidon, and have slain all their enemies.
What shall I do unto thee, O Jacob? thou, Juda, wouldest not obey me: I will turn me to other nations, and unto those will I give my name, that they may keep my statutes.
And unto him thou gavest commandment to love thy way: which he
transgressed, and immediately thou appointedst death in him and in his generations, of whom came
nations, tribes, people, and kindreds, out of number.
For it was not my mind to be curious of the high things, but of such as pass by us daily, namely, wherefore Israel is given up as a reproach to the heathen, and for what cause the people whom thou hast loved is given over unto ungodly
nations, and why the law of our forefathers is brought to
nought, and the written covenants come to none effect,
And this my Son shall
rebuke the wicked inventions of those
nations, which for their wicked life are fallen into the
tempest;
Now when he destroyeth the multitude of the nations that are gathered together, he shall defend his people that remain.
Where the
nations of the
dragons of Arabia shall come out with many
chariots, and the multitude of them shall be carried as the wind upon earth, that all they which hear them may fear and
tremble.
I
Tobit have walked all the days of my life in the ways of truth and justice, and I did many almsdeeds to my brethren, and my
nation, who came with me to Nineve, into the land of the Assyrians.
And my clothes to the naked: and if I saw any of my nation dead, or cast about the walls of Nineve, I buried him.
But he came again, and said, Father, one of our
nation is
strangled, and is cast out in the marketplace.
For they obeyed not thy commandments: wherefore thou hast delivered us for a
spoil, and unto captivity, and unto death, and for a
proverb of reproach to all the
nations among whom we are
dispersed.
Bless the Lord thy God
alway, and desire of him that thy ways may be directed, and that all thy paths and counsels may
prosper: for every
nation hath not counsel; but the Lord himself giveth all good things, and he humbleth whom he will, as he will; now therefore, my son, remember my commandments, neither let them be put out of thy mind.
