observe the
Passover, a feast of seven days, during which
unleavened bread shall be eaten.
Therefore I will be unto them as a lion: as a
leopard by the way will I
observe them:
Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and
observed him: I am like a green
fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.
O Ephraim, what have I to do anymore with idols? It is I who answer and watch over him. I am like a flourishing
cypress; your fruit comes from Me.
Those who
cling to worthless idols
forsake His loving devotion.
Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvellously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you.
“Look at the nations and
observe— be utterly
astounded! For I am doing a work in your days that you would never believe even if someone told you.
All therefore
whatsoever they
bid you
observe, that
observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
So practice and
observe everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they
preach.
Teaching them to
observe all things
whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you
alway, even unto the end of the world.
Amen.
and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just man and an holy, and
observed him; and when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him
gladly.
because Herod feared John and protected him, knowing that he was a righteous and holy man. When he heard John’s words, he was greatly

observe, including the washing of cups, pitchers, kettles, and couches for
dining.

And they are informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to
forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to
circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs.
But they are under the impression that you teach all the Jews who live among the Gentiles to
forsake Moses, telling them not to
circumcise their children or
observe our customs.
As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they
observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from
strangled, and from
fornication.
As for the
Gentile believers, we have written to them our decision that they must
abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of
strangled animals, and from sexual immorality.”
And one
Ananias, a
devout man according to the law, having a good report of all the Jews which dwelt there,
There a man named
Ananias, a
devout observer of the law who was highly regarded by all the Jews living there,
He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he
doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God
thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God
thanks.
He who
observes a special day does so to the Lord; he who eats does so to the Lord, for he gives
thanks to God; and he who abstains does so to the Lord and gives
thanks to God.
Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.
You are observing special days and months and seasons and years!
Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an
ensample.
Join one another in following my example, brothers, and carefully observe those who walk according to the pattern we set for you.
I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the
elect angels, that thou
observe these things without
preferring one before another, doing nothing by
partiality.
I solemnly charge you before God and Christ Jesus and the
elect angels to maintain these principles without
bias, and to do nothing out of
partiality.
You, however, have
observed my teaching, my conduct, my purpose, my faith, my
patience, my love, my
perseverance,
And I
beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice,
Woe,
woe,
woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the
trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!
And as I
observed, I heard an eagle flying overhead, calling in a loud voice, “
Woe!
Woe!
Woe to those who dwell on the earth, because of the
trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the remaining three angels!”

But our fathers, which received the law, kept it not, and observed not thy ordinances: and though the fruit of thy law did not perish, neither could it, for it was thine;
Observe the opportunity, and
beware of evil; and be not
ashamed when it concerneth thy soul.
Observe, and take good
heed, for thou walkest in
peril of thy overthrowing: when thou hearest these things,
awake in thy sleep.
A wise man will fear in every thing, and in the day of
sinning he will
beware of offence: but a
fool will not
observe time.
For he heard and
observed thee, and when time cometh he will
