Esau, “I am about to die, so what good is a
birthright to me?”
And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the LORD: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.
At the LORD’s command, Moses recorded the stages of their journey. These are the stages listed by their starting points:
And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall
point out for you mount
Hor:
Your northern border will run from the Great Sea directly to Mount
Hor,
From mount
Hor ye shall
point out your border unto the entrance of
Hamath; and the goings forth of the border shall be to Zedad:
and from Mount
Hor to Lebo-
hamath, then extend to Zedad,
And ye shall point out your east border from Hazar-enan to Shepham:
And your eastern border will run straight from Hazar-enan to Shepham,

spear was like a
weaver’s beam; and his
spear’s head
weighed six hundred shekels of iron: and one bearing a shield went before him.
The shaft of his
spear was like a
weaver’s beam, and its iron
point weighed six hundred shekels. In addition, his shield bearer went before him.
And when they urged him till he was
ashamed, he said, Send. They sent therefore fifty men; and they sought three days, but found him not.
But when they pressed him to the
point of
embarrassment, he said, “Send them.” And they sent fifty men, who searched for three days but did not find

And the king of Israel sent to the place which the man of God told him and
warned him of, and saved himself there, not once nor twice.

After him repaired
Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, the ruler of the half part of Beth-zur, unto the place over against the
sepulchres of David, and to the
pool that was made, and unto the house of the mighty.

point opposite the tombs of David, as far as the artificial
pool and the House of the Mighty.

It is drawn, and cometh out of the body;
yea, the
glittering sword cometh out of his gall: terrors are upon him.
It is drawn out of his back, the
gleaming point from his liver. Terrors come over him.
Sharp stones are under him: he spreadeth sharp
pointed things upon the
mire.
He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, he teacheth with his fingers;

And this also is a
sore evil, that in all
points as he came, so shall he go: and what profit hath he that hath laboured for the wind?
This too is a
grievous evil: Exactly as a man is born, so he will depart. What does he gain as he toils for the wind?
And they said unto him, Thus saith
Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of
rebuke, and of
blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.

Hezekiah says:
Today is a day of distress,

Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;
Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry out, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’ If you remove the yoke from your midst, the
pointing of the finger and
malicious talk,
Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the
womb? saith thy God.
Shall I bring a
baby to the
point of birth and not deliver it?” says the LORD. “Or will I who deliver close the
womb?” says your God.
The sin of Judah is written with a pen of iron, and with the
point of a
diamond: it is
graven upon the table of their heart, and upon the horns of your altars;
“The sin of Judah is written with an iron
stylus, engraved with a
diamond point on the tablets of their hearts and on the horns of their altars.
I have set the
point of the sword against all their gates, that their heart may
faint, and their ruins be multiplied:
ah! it is made bright, it is
wrapped up for the slaughter.
So that their hearts may
melt and many may
stumble, I have appointed at all their gates a sword for slaughter.
Yes, it is ready to
flash like
lightning; it is drawn for slaughter.

besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the
point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be
healed; and she shall live.
and
pleaded with Him

healed and live.”
And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death:
tarry ye here, and watch.
Then He said to them, “My soul is consumed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch.”

Galilee, he went unto him, and
besought him that he would come down, and

Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God,
However, I have written you a bold reminder on some points, because of the grace God has given me
Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall
reveal even this unto you.
All of us who are
mature should embrace this
point of view. And if you think differently about some issue, God will
reveal this to you as well.
If thou put the brethren in
remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ,
nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine,
whereunto thou hast attained.
By
pointing out these things to the brothers, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus,
nourished by the words of faith and sound instruction that you have followed.
But avoid
foolish questions, and
genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our
infirmities; but was in all
points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to
sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who was
tempted in every way that we are, yet was without sin.
And it is yet far more evident: for that after the
similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,
And this
point is even more clear if another priest like
Melchizedek appears,
Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
The point of what we are saying is this: We do have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven,
Ye have not yet resisted unto blood,
striving against sin.
In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the
point of

For
whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet
offend in one

Whoever keeps the whole law but stumbles at just one

Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did
signify, when it
testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
trying to determine the time and setting to which the Spirit of Christ in them was
pointing when He
predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories to follow.
But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see
afar off, and hath forgotten that he was
purged from his old sins.
But
whoever lacks these traits is
nearsighted to the
point of blindness, having forgotten that he has been
cleansed from his past sins.
Nevertheless, when I perceived that I could not otherwise obtain her, except God gave her me; and that was a
point of wisdom also to know whose gift she was; I prayed unto the Lord, and
besought him, and with my whole heart I said,
To stand upon every point, and go over things at large, and to be curious in particulars, belongeth to the first author of the story:
But when
Judas his first band came in sight, the enemies, being
smitten with fear and terror through the appearing of him who
seeth all things, fled
amain, one running into this way, another that way, so as that they were often
hurt of their own men, and wounded with the
points of their own swords.
Which things when
Judas perceived, he commanded the multitude to call upon the Lord night and day, that if ever at any other time, he would now also help them, being at the
point to be put from their law, from their country, and from the holy temple:
And this was his vision: That Onias, who had been high priest, a
virtuous and a good man,
reverend in conversation, gentle in condition, well spoken also, and exercised from a child in all
points of virtue, holding up his hands prayed for the whole body of the Jews.
