fringe, that ye may look upon it, and
remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a

leavened bread with it; for seven days you are to eat with it

Jehu said to Bidkar his officer, “
Pick him up and throw him into the field of
Naboth the Jezreelite. For

After I had made an inspection, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials, and the rest of the people, “Do not be afraid of them.

didst among them; but
hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their
bondage: but thou art a God ready to
pardon,
gracious and
merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and forsookest them not.
They refused to
listen and failed to
remember the wonders You performed among them. They
stiffened their necks and appointed a leader to return them to their
bondage in Egypt. But You are a
forgiving God,
gracious and
compassionate, slow to anger and rich in loving devotion, and You did not
forsake them.

Ahasuerus was
appeased, he
remembered Vashti, and what she had done, and what was decreed against her.

remembered Vashti and what she had done, and what had been decreed against her.
And that these days should be
remembered and kept throughout every generation, every family, every province, and every city; and that these days of
Purim should not fail from among the Jews, nor the
memorial of them perish from their seed.
These days should be
remembered and celebrated by every generation, family, province, and city, so that these days of
Purim should not fail to be observed among the Jews, nor should the memory of them
fade from their descendants.
Remember, I pray thee, who ever perished, being innocent? or where were the righteous cut off?
Consider now, I
plead: Who, being innocent, has ever perished? Or where have the upright been destroyed?

Remember, I
beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay; and
wilt thou bring me into dust again?
Please
remember that You
molded me like clay. Would You now return me to dust?
Because thou shalt
forget thy misery, and
remember it as waters that pass away:
For you will
forget your misery, recalling it only as waters gone by.
Oh that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest
appoint me a set time, and
remember me!
If only You would hide me in
Sheol and
conceal me until Your anger has passed! If only You would
appoint a time for me and then
remember me!
Even when I
remember I am afraid, and
trembling taketh hold on my flesh.
When I
remember, terror takes hold, and my body trembles in
horror.
The
womb shall
forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more
remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a tree.
The
womb forgets them; the worm feeds on them; they are
remembered no more. So injustice is like a broken tree.
Remember that thou
magnify his work, which men behold.
Remember to
magnify His work, which men have praised in song.

remember the battle and never
repeat it!

chariots, and some in horses: but we will
remember the name of the LORD our God.
Some trust in
chariots and others in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.
All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.
All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD. All the families of the nations will bow down before Him.
Remember, O LORD, thy tender
mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.
Remember, O LORD, Your
compassion and loving devotion, for they are from age to age.
Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness’ sake, O LORD.
Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my
rebellious acts;
remember me according to Your loving devotion, because of Your goodness, O LORD.
When I
remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept
holyday.
These things come to mind as I pour out my soul: how I walked with the multitude, leading the
procession to the house of God with shouts of joy and praise.
O my God, my soul is cast down within me: therefore will I remember thee from the land of Jordan, and of the Hermonites, from the hill Mizar.
O my God, my soul despairs within me. Therefore I
remember You from the land of Jordan and the peaks of
Hermon— even from Mount Mizar.
I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.
I will
commemorate your name through all generations; therefore the nations will praise you
forever and ever.
When I
remember thee upon my bed, and
meditate on thee in the night watches.
When I remember You on my bed, I think of You through the watches of the night.
Remember thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount
Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt.
Remember Your congregation, which You purchased long ago and redeemed as the tribe of Your inheritance— Mount
Zion where You dwell.
Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O LORD, and that the
foolish people have
blasphemed thy name.
Arise, O God,
plead thine own cause:
remember how the
foolish man reproacheth thee daily.
Rise up, O God; defend Your cause!
Remember how the
fool mocks You all day long.
I call to
remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made
diligent search.
At night I
remembered my song; in my heart I
mused, and my spirit
pondered:
And I said, This is my
infirmity: but I will
remember the years of the right hand of the most High.
So I said, “I am
grieved that the right hand of the Most High has changed.”
I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.
I will
remember the works of the LORD;
yes, I will
remember Your wonders of old.
And they
remembered that God was their rock, and the high God their
redeemer.
And they
remembered that God was their Rock, that God Most High was their
Redeemer.
For he remembered that they were but flesh; a wind that passeth away, and cometh not again.
He
remembered that they were but flesh, a passing
breeze that does not return.
They remembered not his hand, nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy.
They did not
remember His power— the day He redeemed them from the
adversary,
O
remember not against us former
iniquities: let thy tender
mercies speedily prevent us: for we are brought very low.
Do not hold past sins against us; let Your
compassion come quickly, for we are brought low.
They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in
remembrance.
saying, “Come, let us
erase them as a nation; may the name of Israel be
remembered no more.”
Free among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom thou rememberest no more: and they are cut off from thy hand.
I am
forsaken among the dead, like the slain who lie in the grave, whom You
remember no more, who are cut off from Your care.
Remember how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made all men in vain?
Remember the briefness of my lifespan! For what
futility You have created all men!
