shepherd’s tent: I have cut off like a
weaver my life: he will cut me off with pining
sickness: from day even to night
wilt thou make an end of me.
My dwelling has been
picked up and removed from me like a
shepherd’s tent. I have rolled up my life like a
weaver; He cuts me off from the
loom; from day until night You make an end of me.
As a fountain casteth out her waters, so she casteth out her wickedness: violence and
spoil is heard in her; before me continually is grief and wounds.
As a well gushes its water, so she pours out her evil. Violence and destruction resound in her; sickness and wounds are ever before Me.
Woe is me for my
hurt! my wound is
grievous: but I said, Truly this is a grief, and I must bear it.
Woe to me because of my brokenness; my wound is
grievous! But I said, “This is truly my
sickness, and I must bear it.”
