time next year, and your wife
Sarah will have a son!” Now
Sarah was behind him,
listening at the entrance to the tent.

So shall my righteousness answer for me in
time to come, when it shall come for my
hire before thy face: every one that is not
speckled and
spotted among the goats, and brown among the sheep, that shall be counted
stolen with me.

honesty will
testify for me when you come to check on my wages in the future. If I have any goats that are not
speckled or
spotted, or any lambs that are not dark-colored, they will be considered
stolen.”

slept and dreamed the second
time: and, behold, seven ears of corn came up upon one
stalk, rank and good.
but he fell back
asleep and dreamed a second
time: Seven heads of grain,

stalk.

lingered, surely now we had returned this second
time.
If we had not delayed, we could have come and gone twice by now.”
And the men were afraid, because they were brought into Joseph’s house; and they said, Because of the money that was returned in our sacks at the first
time are we brought in; that he may seek occasion against us, and fall upon us, and take us for
bondmen, and our
asses.
But the brothers were
frightened that they had been taken to Joseph’s house. “We have been brought here because of the silver that was returned in our bags the first
time,” they said. “They intend to overpower us and take us as slaves, along with our
donkeys.”

times larger than any of the others. So they feasted and
drank freely with Joseph.
They said moreover unto Pharaoh, For to
sojourn in the land are we come; for thy servants have no pasture for their flocks; for the famine is
sore in the land of
Canaan: now therefore, we pray thee, let thy servants dwell in the land of
Goshen.
Then they said to Pharaoh, “We have come to live in the land for a
time, because there is no pasture for the flocks of your servants, since the famine in the land of
Canaan has been severe. So now, please allow your servants to settle in the land of
Goshen.”

And the LORD appointed a set
time, saying, To
morrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land.
The LORD set a
time, saying, “
Tomorrow the LORD will do this in the land.”
For I will at this time send all my plagues upon thine heart, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people; that thou mayest know that there is none like me in all the earth.
Otherwise, I will send all My plagues against you and your officials and your people, so you may know that there is no one like Me in all the earth.
For now I will stretch out my hand, that I may
smite thee and thy people with
pestilence; and thou shalt be cut off from the earth.
For by this
time I could have stretched out My hand and struck you and your people with a plague to
wipe you off the earth.
Behold, to
morrow about this
time I will cause it to rain a very
grievous hail, such as hath not been in Egypt since the foundation thereof even until now.
Behold, at this
time tomorrow I will rain down the worst
hail that has ever fallen on Egypt, from the day it was founded until now.
So there was
hail, and fire mingled with the
hail, very
grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.
The
hail fell and the
lightning continued
flashing through it. The
hail was so severe that nothing like it had ever been seen in all the land of Egypt from the
time it became a nation.
And Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said unto them, I have

Thou shalt therefore keep this
ordinance in his season from year to year.
Therefore you shall keep this statute at the appointed time year after year.
And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in
time to come, saying, What is this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the house of
bondage:
In the future, when your son asks you, ‘What does this mean?’ you are to tell him, ‘With a mighty hand the LORD brought us out of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.
And let them judge the people at all seasons: and it shall be, that every great matter they shall bring unto thee, but every small matter they shall judge: so shall it be easier for
thyself, and they shall bear the burden with thee.
Have these men judge the people at all
times. Then they can bring you any major issue, but all minor cases they can judge on their own, so that your load may be
lightened as they share it with you.
And they judged the people at all seasons: the hard causes they brought unto Moses, but every small matter they judged themselves.
And they judged the people at all times; they would bring the difficult cases to Moses, but any minor issue they would judge themselves.
If he rise again, and walk abroad upon his staff, then shall he that
smote him be
quit: only he shall pay for the loss of his
time, and shall cause him to be thoroughly
healed.
then the one who struck him shall go unpunished, as long as the other can get up and walk around outside with his staff. Nevertheless, he must
compensate the man for his lost work and see that he is completely
healed.
But if the ox were
wont to
push with his horn in
time past, and it hath been
testified to his owner, and he hath not kept him in, but that he hath killed a man or a woman; the ox shall be stoned, and his owner also shall be put to death.
But if the ox has a habit of
goring, and its owner has been
warned yet does not restrain it, and it kills a man or woman, then the ox must be stoned and its owner must also be put to death.
Or if it be known that the ox hath used to
push in
time past, and his owner hath not kept him in; he shall surely pay ox for ox; and the dead shall be his own.
But if it was known that the ox had a habit of
goring, yet its owner failed to restrain it, he shall pay full compensation, ox for ox, and the dead animal will be his.
Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year.
Three
times a year you are to
celebrate a feast to Me.
Thou shalt keep the feast of
unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat
unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the
time appointed of the month
Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)
You are to keep the Feast of
Unleavened Bread as I commanded you: At the appointed
time in the month of
Abib you are to eat
unleavened bread for seven days, because that was the month you came out of Egypt. No one may appear before Me empty-handed.
Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD.
Three times a year all your males are to appear before the Lord GOD.
And place the Bread of the Presence on the table before Me at all times.
The feast of
unleavened bread shalt thou keep. Seven days thou shalt eat
unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, in the
time of the month
Abib: for in the month
Abib thou camest out from Egypt.
You are to keep the Feast of
Unleavened Bread. For seven days at the appointed
time in the month of
Abib, you are to eat
unleavened bread as I commanded you. For in the month of
Abib you came out of Egypt.
Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest.
Six days you shall labor, but on the seventh day you shall rest; even in the seasons of
plowing and harvesting, you must rest.
Thrice in the year shall all your men children appear before the Lord GOD, the God of Israel.
Three times a year all your males are to appear before the Lord GOD, the God of Israel.
For I will cast out the nations before thee, and
enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shalt go up to appear before the LORD thy God
thrice in the year.
For I will drive out the nations before you and
enlarge your borders, and no one will
covet your land when you go up three
times a year to appear before the LORD your God.
And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and
sprinkle of the blood seven
times before the LORD, before the
vail of the sanctuary.
The priest is to dip his finger in the blood and
sprinkle some of it seven
times before the LORD, in front of the
veil of the sanctuary.
And the priest shall dip his finger in some of the blood, and
sprinkle it seven
times before the LORD, even before the
vail.
and he is to dip his finger in the blood and
sprinkle it seven
times before the LORD in front of the
veil.

sprinkled some of the oil on the altar seven
times,
anointing the altar and all its utensils, and the basin with its stand, to
consecrate them.

warp, or
woof, or
whatsoever thing of skin it be, which thou shalt wash, if the plague be departed from them, then it shall be washed the second
time, and shall be clean.
If the
mildew disappears from the
fabric,
weave, or
knit, or any leather article after washing, then it is to be washed again, and it will be clean.

sprinkle upon him that is to be
cleansed from the
leprosy seven

cleansed of the skin disease. Then he shall
pronounce him clean and release the live bird into the open field.

sprinkle of the oil with his finger seven
times before the LORD:

forefinger into the oil in his left palm, and
sprinkle some of the oil with his finger seven
times before the LORD.
And the priest shall
sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven
times before the LORD:
and
sprinkle with his right
forefinger some of the oil in his left palm seven
times before the LORD.
And he shall take the
cedar wood, and the
hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and
sprinkle the house seven
times:

cedar wood, the
hyssop, the scarlet yarn, and the live bird, dip them in the blood of the slaughtered bird and the fresh water, and

times.
And if a woman have an issue of her blood many days out of the time of her separation, or if it run beyond the time of her separation; all the days of the issue of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her separation: she shall be unclean.
When a woman has a discharge of her blood for many days at a
time other than her
menstrual period, or if it continues beyond her period, she will be unclean all the days of her unclean discharge, just as she is during the days of her
menstruation.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all
times into the holy place within the
vail before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.
And the LORD said to Moses: “Tell your brother Aaron not to enter freely into the Most Holy Place behind the
veil in front of the mercy seat on the ark, or else he will die, because I appear in the cloud above the mercy seat.
And he shall take of the blood of the
bullock, and
sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat shall he
sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven
times.
And he is to take some of the bull’s blood and
sprinkle it with his finger on the east side of the mercy seat; then he shall
sprinkle some of it with his finger seven
times before the mercy seat.

atonement in the holy place, until he come out, and have made an
atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel.
No one may be in the Tent of Meeting from the
time Aaron goes in to make
atonement in the Most Holy Place until he leaves, after he has made
atonement for himself, his household, and the whole assembly of Israel.
And he shall
sprinkle of the blood upon it with his finger seven
times, and
cleanse it, and
hallow it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.
He is to
sprinkle some of the blood on it with his finger seven
times to
cleanse it and
consecrate it from the uncleanness of the Israelites.

vex her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life
time.
You must not take your wife’s sister as a rival wife and have sexual relations with her while your wife is still alive.
Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use
enchantment, nor observe
times.
You must not eat anything with blood still in it. You must not practice
divination or
sorcery.
These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall
proclaim in their seasons.
These are the LORD’s appointed feasts, the sacred
assemblies you are to
proclaim at their appointed
times.
And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.
And you shall count off seven Sabbaths of years—seven times seven years—so that the seven Sabbaths of years amount to forty-nine years.
Notwithstanding the cities of the Levites, and the houses of the cities of their possession, may the Levites
redeem at any
time.
As for the cities of the Levites, the Levites always have the right to
redeem their houses in the cities they possess.
And he shall
reckon with him that bought him from the year that he was sold to him unto the year of jubile: and the price of his sale shall be according unto the number of years, according to the
time of an
hired servant shall it be with him.
He and his purchaser will then count the
time from the year he sold himself up to the Year of
Jubilee. The price of his sale will be determined by the number of years, based on the daily wages of a
hired hand.
And your
threshing shall reach unto the
vintage, and the
vintage shall reach unto the
sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.
Your
threshing will continue until the
grape harvest, and the
grape harvest will continue until
sowing time; you will have your fill of food to eat and will dwell securely in your land.
And if ye will not yet for all this
hearken unto me, then I will
punish you seven
times more for your sins.
And if after all this you will not obey Me, I will proceed to
punish you
sevenfold for your sins.
And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not
hearken unto me; I will bring seven
times more plagues upon you according to your sins.
If you walk in hostility toward Me and refuse to obey Me, I will multiply your plagues seven times, according to your sins.
Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will
punish you yet seven
times for your sins.
then I will act with hostility toward you, and I will strike you
sevenfold for your sins.
Then I will walk contrary unto you also in
fury; and I, even I, will
chastise you seven
times for your sins.
Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth
desolate, and ye be in your enemies’ land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths.
Then the land shall enjoy its Sabbaths all the days it lies
desolate, while you are in the land of your enemies. At that
time the land will rest and enjoy its Sabbaths.
These also are the generations of Aaron and Moses in the day that the LORD spake with Moses in mount
Sinai.
This is the account of Aaron and Moses at the
