And if she had at all an husband, when she
vowed, or
uttered ought out of her lips,
wherewith she bound her soul;
If a woman marries while under a
vow or
rash promise by which she has bound herself,
But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her
vow which she
vowed, and that which she
uttered with her lips,
wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the LORD shall
forgive her.
But if her husband prohibits her when he hears of it, he nullifies the
vow that binds her or the
rash promise she has made, and the LORD will
absolve her.

thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High resounded.
And, lo, I perceived that God had not sent him; but that he pronounced this prophecy against me: for
Tobiah and
Sanballat had
hired him.
I realized that God had not sent him, but that he had
uttered this prophecy against me because
Tobiah and
Sanballat had
hired him.
Also they reported his good deeds before me, and
uttered my words to him. And
Tobiah sent letters to put me in fear.

Tobiah’s good deeds, and they relayed my words to him. And
Tobiah sent letters to
intimidate me.

Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.

From the cry of
Heshbon even unto Elealeh, and even unto Jahaz, have they
uttered their voice, from Zoar even unto Horonaim, as an
heifer of three years old: for the waters also of Nimrim shall be
desolate.
There is a cry from
Heshbon to Elealeh; they raise their voices to Jahaz, from Zoar to Horonaim and Eglath-shelishiyah; for even the waters of Nimrim have dried up.

spoiled Babylon, and destroyed out of her the great voice; when her waves do
roar like great waters, a noise of their voice is

tumult of their voices will resound.

And thou shalt know that I am the LORD, and that I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid
desolate, they are given us to
consume.
Then you will know that I, the LORD, have heard every
contemptuous word you
uttered against the mountains of Israel when you said, ‘They are
desolate; they are given to us to
devour!’
The mountains saw thee, and they
trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep
uttered his voice, and lifted up his hands on high.
The mountains saw You and
quaked; torrents of water swept by. The deep
roared with its voice and lifted its hands on high.
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our
infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh
intercession for us with groanings which cannot be
uttered.
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how we ought to pray, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words.

drank: and when I had
drunk of it, my heart
uttered understanding, and wisdom grew in my breast, for my spirit strengthened my memory:
