I will take up a
weeping and
wailing for the mountains, a
dirge over the wilderness pasture, for they have been

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Consider ye, and call for the

And let them make
haste, and take up a

gush with water.

devastated we are! How great is our shame! For we have abandoned the land because our dwellings have been
torn down.’”

lament for you: ‘Who was ever like Tyre, silenced in the middle of the sea?

weep and

cried,
weeping and
wailing, saying,
Alas,
alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her

desolate.

weep and
mourn and cry out: “
Woe,
woe to the great city, where all who had ships on the sea were enriched by her wealth! For in a single hour she has been destroyed.”
