wilt do us no
hurt, as we have not touched thee, and as we have done unto thee nothing but good, and have sent thee away in

harmed you but have done only good to you, sending you on your way in
peace. And now you are blessed by the LORD.”

These men are peaceable with us; therefore let them dwell in the land, and trade therein; for the land, behold, it is large enough for them; let us take their daughters to us for wives, and let us give them our daughters.
“These men are at peace with us. Let them live and trade in our land; indeed, it is large enough for them. Let us take their daughters in marriage and give our daughters to them.

Simeon out to them.

thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy
peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will
bless thee.

peace offerings, your sheep and goats and cattle. In every place where I cause My name to be remembered, I will come to you and

And it shall be Aaron’s and his sons’ by a statute for ever from the children of Israel: for it is an
heave offering: and it shall be an
heave offering from the children of Israel of the sacrifice of their
peace offerings, even their
heave offering unto the LORD.
This will belong to Aaron and his sons as a regular portion from the Israelites, for it is the
heave offering the Israelites will make to the LORD from their
peace offerings.
And they rose up early on the
morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought
peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.
So the next day they arose, offered burnt offerings, and presented

indulge in
revelry.
And if his
oblation be a sacrifice of
peace offering, if he offer it of the
herd; whether it be a male or female, he shall offer it without
blemish before the LORD.
“If one’s offering is a
peace offering and he offers an animal from the
herd, whether male or female, he must present it without
blemish before the LORD.
And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
From the
peace offering he is to bring an offering made by fire to the LORD: the fat that covers the
entrails, all the fat that is on them,
And if his offering for a sacrifice of
peace offering unto the LORD be of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without
blemish.
If, however, one’s
peace offering to the LORD is from the flock, he must present a male or female without
blemish.
And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the
peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat thereof, and the whole
rump, it shall he take off hard by the
backbone; and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
And from the
peace offering he shall bring an offering made by fire to the LORD consisting of its fat: the entire fat tail cut off close to the
backbone, the fat that covers the
entrails, all the fat that is on them,
As it was taken off from the
bullock of the sacrifice of
peace offerings: and the priest shall burn them upon the altar of the burnt offering.
just as the fat is removed from the ox of the peace offering. Then the priest shall burn them on the altar of burnt offering.
And he shall burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of
peace offerings: and the priest shall make an
atonement for him as concerning his sin, and it shall be
forgiven him.
He must burn all its fat on the altar, like the fat of the
peace offerings; thus the priest will make
atonement for that man’s sin, and he will be
forgiven.
And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of
peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour unto the LORD; and the priest shall make an
atonement for him, and it shall be
forgiven him.
Then he is to remove all the fat, just as it is removed from the
peace offering, and the priest is to burn it on the altar as a pleasing
aroma to the LORD. In this way the priest will make
atonement for him, and he will be
forgiven.
And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the
peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: and the priest shall make an
atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be
forgiven him.
And he shall remove all the fat, just as the fat of the lamb is removed from the
peace offerings, and he shall burn it on the altar along with the offerings made by fire to the LORD. In this way the priest will make
atonement for him for the sin he has committed, and he will be
forgiven.
And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn
thereon the fat of the
peace offerings.
The fire on the altar shall be kept burning; it must not be
extinguished. Every morning the priest is to add wood to the fire, arrange the burnt offering on it, and burn the fat portions of the
peace offerings on it.
And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which he shall offer unto the LORD.
Now this is the law of the peace offering that one may present to the LORD:
Besides the cakes, he shall offer for his offering
leavened bread with the sacrifice of
thanksgiving of his
peace offerings.
Along with his
peace offering of
thanksgiving he is to present an offering with cakes of
leavened bread.
And of it he shall offer one out of the whole
oblation for an
heave offering unto the LORD, and it shall be the priest’s that sprinkleth the blood of the
peace offerings.
From the cakes he must present one portion of each offering as a contribution to the LORD. It belongs to the priest who sprinkles the blood of the peace offering.
And the flesh of the sacrifice of his
peace offerings for
thanksgiving shall be eaten the same day that it is offered; he shall not leave any of it until the morning.
The meat of the sacrifice of his
peace offering of
thanksgiving must be eaten on the day he offers it; none of it may be left until morning.
And if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his
peace offerings be eaten at all on the third day, it shall not be accepted, neither shall it be imputed unto him that offereth it: it shall be an
abomination, and the soul that eateth of it shall bear his iniquity.
If any of the meat from his
peace offering is eaten on the third day, it will not be accepted. It will not be credited to the one who presented it; it shall be an
abomination, and the one who eats of it shall bear his iniquity.
But the soul that eateth of the flesh of the sacrifice of
peace offerings, that
pertain unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.
But if
anyone who is unclean eats meat from the
peace offering that belongs to the LORD, that person must be cut off from his people.
Moreover the soul that shall touch any unclean thing, as the uncleanness of man, or any unclean beast, or any
abominable unclean thing, and eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of
peace offerings, which
pertain unto the LORD, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.
If one touches anything unclean, whether human uncleanness, an unclean animal, or any unclean,
detestable thing, and then eats any of the meat of the
peace offering that belongs to the LORD, that person must be cut off from his people.”
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, He that offereth the sacrifice of his
peace offerings unto the LORD shall bring his
oblation unto the LORD of the sacrifice of his
peace offerings.
“Speak to the Israelites and say, ‘
Anyone who presents a
peace offering to the LORD must bring it as his sacrifice to the LORD.
And the right shoulder shall ye give unto the priest for an
heave offering of the sacrifices of your
peace offerings.
And you are to give the right
thigh to the priest as a contribution from your
peace offering.
He among the sons of Aaron, that offereth the blood of the peace offerings, and the fat, shall have the right shoulder for his part.
The son of Aaron who presents the blood and fat of the
peace offering shall have the right
thigh as a portion.
For the wave breast and the
heave shoulder have I taken of the children of Israel from off the sacrifices of their
peace offerings, and have given them unto Aaron the priest and unto his sons by a statute for ever from among the children of Israel.
I have taken from the sons of Israel the breast of the wave offering and the
thigh of the contribution of their
peace offerings, and I have given them to Aaron the priest and his sons as a permanent portion from the sons of Israel.’”
This is the law of the burnt offering, of the meat offering, and of the sin offering, and of the
trespass offering, and of the consecrations, and of the sacrifice of the
peace offerings;
This is the law of the burnt offering, the grain offering, the sin offering, the guilt offering, the
ordination offering, and the
peace offering,
Also a
bullock and a ram for
peace offerings, to sacrifice before the LORD; and a meat offering mingled with oil: for to day the LORD will appear unto you.
an ox and a ram for a
peace offering to sacrifice before the LORD, and a grain offering mixed with oil. For
today the LORD will appear to you.’”
He
slew also the
bullock and the ram for a sacrifice of
peace offerings, which was for the people: and Aaron’s sons presented unto him the blood, which he
sprinkled upon the altar round about,
Then he slaughtered the ox and the ram as the people’s
peace offering. His sons brought him the blood, and he
sprinkled it on all sides of the altar.
And Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings.
Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people and blessed them. And having made the sin offering, the burnt offering, and the
peace offering, he
stepped down.
Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the LORD spake, saying, I will be
sanctified in them that come
nigh me, and before all the people I will be
glorified. And Aaron held his
peace.
Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the LORD meant when He said: ‘To those who come near Me I will show My
holiness, and in the sight of all the people I will
reveal My glory.’” But Aaron remained silent.
And the wave breast and
heave shoulder shall ye eat in a clean place; thou, and thy sons, and thy daughters with thee: for they be thy due, and thy sons’ due, which are given out of the sacrifices of
peace offerings of the children of Israel.
And you and your sons and daughters may eat the breast of the wave offering and the
thigh of the contribution in a
ceremonially clean place, because these portions have been assigned to you and your children from the
peace offerings of the sons of Israel.
To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the LORD.
For this reason the Israelites will bring to the LORD the sacrifices they have been offering in the open fields. They are to bring them to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and offer them as sacrifices of peace to the LORD.
And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, ye shall offer it at your own will.
When you sacrifice a peace offering to the LORD, you shall offer it for your acceptance.
When a man presents a
peace offering to the LORD from the
herd or flock to
fulfill a
vow or as a
freewill offering, it must be without
blemish or defect to be acceptable.
Then ye shall sacrifice one
kid of the goats for a sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of
peace offerings.
You shall also prepare one male goat as a sin offering and two male lambs a year old as a peace offering.
And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.
And I will give peace to the land, and you will lie down with nothing to fear. I will rid the land of dangerous animals, and no sword will pass through your land.
And he shall offer his offering unto the LORD, one he lamb of the first year without
blemish for a burnt offering, and one
ewe lamb of the first year without
blemish for a sin offering, and one ram without
blemish for
peace offerings,
and he is to present an offering to the LORD of an
unblemished year-old male lamb as a burnt offering, an
unblemished year-old female lamb as a sin offering, and an
unblemished ram as a
peace offering—
And he shall offer the ram for a sacrifice of
peace offerings unto the LORD, with the
basket of
unleavened bread: the priest shall offer also his meat offering, and his drink offering.
He shall also offer the ram as a
peace offering to the LORD, along with the
basket of
unleavened bread. And the priest is to offer the accompanying grain offering and drink offering.
And the
Nazarite shall
shave the head of his separation at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall take the hair of the head of his separation, and put it in the fire which is under the sacrifice of the
peace offerings.
Then at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, the
Nazirite is to
shave his consecrated head, take the hair, and put it on the fire under the
peace offering.
The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
may the LORD lift up His countenance toward you and give you peace.’

Also in the day of your
gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the
trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your
peace offerings; that they may be to you for a
memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God.
And on your
joyous occasions, your appointed feasts, and the beginning of each month, you are to blow the
trumpets over your burnt offerings and
fellowship offerings to serve as a reminder for you before your God. I am the LORD your God.”
And when thou preparest a
bullock for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice in performing a
vow, or
peace offerings unto the LORD:
When you prepare a young bull as a burnt offering or sacrifice to
fulfill a
vow or as a
peace offering to the LORD,
Wherefore say, Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace:
Declare, therefore, that I am granting him My covenant of peace.
These things ye shall do unto the LORD in your set feasts, beside your vows, and your
freewill offerings, for your burnt offerings, and for your meat offerings, and for your drink offerings, and for your
peace offerings.
You are to present these offerings to the LORD at your appointed times, in addition to your
vow and
freewill offerings, whether burnt offerings, grain offerings, drink offerings, or
peace offerings.”
And her father hear her
vow, and her bond
wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his
peace at her: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond
wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.
and her father hears about her
vow or
pledge but says nothing to her, then all the vows or pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand.
And her husband heard it, and held his
peace at her in the day that he heard it: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds
wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
and her husband hears of it but says nothing to her on that day, then the vows or pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand.
And her husband heard it, and held his
peace at her, and disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond
wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
and her husband hears of it but says nothing to her and does not
prohibit her, then all the vows or pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand.
But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard them.
But if her husband says nothing to her from day to day, then he confirms all the vows and pledges that bind her. He has confirmed them, because he said nothing to her on the day he heard about them.
And I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth unto Sihon king of
Heshbon with words of
peace, saying,
So from the Wilderness of Kedemoth I sent messengers with an offer of
peace to Sihon king of
Heshbon, saying,
When thou comest
nigh unto a city to fight against it, then
proclaim peace unto it.
When you approach a city to fight against it, you are to make an offer of peace.
And it shall be, if it make thee answer of peace, and open unto thee, then it shall be, that all the people that is found therein shall be tributaries unto thee, and they shall serve thee.
If they accept your offer of peace and open their gates, all the people there will become forced laborers to serve you.
And if it will make no
peace with thee, but will make war against thee, then thou shalt
besiege it:
But if they refuse to make
peace with you and
wage war against you, lay siege to that city.
Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever.
You are not to seek peace or prosperity from them as long as you live.
And thou shalt offer
peace offerings, and shalt eat there, and
rejoice before the LORD thy God.
There you are to sacrifice your
peace offerings, eating them and
rejoicing in the presence of the LORD your God.
And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this
curse, that he
bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have
peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add
drunkenness to
thirst:
because when such a person hears the words of this oath, he invokes a blessing on himself, saying, ‘I will have
peace, even though I walk in the
stubbornness of my own heart.’ This will bring
disaster on the watered land as well as the dry.
As Moses the servant of the LORD commanded the children of Israel, as it is written in the book of the law of Moses, an altar of whole stones, over which no man hath lift up any iron: and they offered
thereon burnt offerings unto the LORD, and sacrificed
peace offerings.
just as Moses the servant of the LORD had commanded the Israelites. He built it according to what is written in the Book of the Law of Moses: “an altar of uncut stones on which no iron tool has been used.” And on it they offered burnt offerings to the LORD, and they sacrificed peace offerings.
And Joshua made
peace with them, and made a league with them, to let them live: and the princes of the congregation
sware unto them.
And Joshua made a treaty of
peace with them to let them live, and the leaders of the congregation
swore an oath to them.
Now it came to pass, when Adoni-zedek king of Jerusalem had heard how Joshua had taken
Ai, and had utterly destroyed it; as he had done to
Jericho and her king, so he had done to
Ai and her king; and how the inhabitants of
Gibeon had made
peace with Israel, and were among them;
Now Adoni-zedek king of Jerusalem heard that Joshua had captured
Ai and devoted it to destruction—doing to
Ai and its king as he had done to
Jericho and its king—and that the people of
Gibeon had made
peace with Israel and were living near them.
Come up unto me, and help me, that we may
smite Gibeon: for it hath made
peace with Joshua and with the children of Israel.
“Come up and help me. We will attack
Gibeon, because they have made
peace with Joshua and the Israelites.”
And all the people returned to the camp to Joshua at Makkedah in peace: none moved his tongue against any of the children of Israel.
The whole army returned safely to Joshua in the camp at Makkedah, and no one
dared to utter a word against the Israelites.
There was not a city that made
peace with the children of Israel, save the
Hivites the inhabitants of
Gibeon: all other they took in battle.
No city made
peace with the Israelites except the
Hivites living in
Gibeon; all others were taken in battle.
That we have built us an altar to turn from following the LORD, or if to offer
thereon burnt offering or meat offering, or if to offer
peace offerings
thereon, let the LORD himself require it;
If we have built for ourselves an altar to turn away from Him and to offer burnt offerings and grain offerings on it, or to sacrifice
fellowship offerings on it, may the LORD Himself hold us accountable.
But that it may be a witness between us, and you, and our generations after us, that we might do the service of the LORD before him with our burnt offerings, and with our sacrifices, and with our peace offerings; that your children may not say to our children in time to come, Ye have no part in the LORD.
Rather, let it be a witness between us and you and the generations to come, that we will worship the LORD in His presence with our burnt offerings, sacrifices, and peace offerings.’ Then in the future, your descendants cannot say to ours, ‘You have no share in the LORD!’
Howbeit Sisera fled away on his feet to the tent of Jael the wife of
Heber the Kenite: for there was
peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of
Heber the Kenite.
Meanwhile, Sisera had fled on foot to the tent of Jael, the wife of
Heber the Kenite, because there was
peace between Jabin king of Hazor and the house of
Heber the Kenite.
And the LORD said unto him, Peace be unto thee; fear not: thou shalt not die.
But the LORD said to him, “Peace be with you. Do not be afraid, for you will not die.”
Then
Gideon built an altar there unto the LORD, and called it Jehovah-shalom: unto this day it is yet in Ophrah of the Abi-ezrites.
So
Gideon built an altar to the LORD there and called it The LORD Is
Peace. To this day it stands in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.
And he spake also unto the men of Penuel, saying, When I come again in peace, I will break down this tower.
So
Gideon told the men of Penuel, “When I return in triumph, I will
tear down this tower!”
And the king of the children of
Ammon answered unto the messengers of
Jephthah, Because Israel took away my land, when they came up out of Egypt, from
Arnon even unto
Jabbok, and unto Jordan: now therefore restore those lands again
peaceably.
The king of the
Ammonites answered
Jephthah’s messengers, “When Israel came up out of Egypt, they seized my land, from the
Arnon to the
Jabbok and all the way to the Jordan. Now, therefore, restore it
peaceably.”
Then it shall be, that
whatsoever cometh forth of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in
peace from the children of
Ammon, shall surely be the LORD’S, and I will offer it up for a burnt offering.
then whatever comes out the door of my house to
greet me on my
triumphant return from the
Ammonites will belong to the LORD, and I will offer it up as a burnt offering.”
And the priest said unto them, Go in peace: before the LORD is your way wherein ye go.
And the priest told them, “Go in peace. The LORD is watching over your journey.”
And they said unto him, Hold thy peace, lay thine hand upon thy mouth, and go with us, and be to us a father and a priest: is it better for thee to be a priest unto the house of one man, or that thou be a priest unto a tribe and a family in Israel?
“Be quiet,” they told him. “Put your hand over your mouth and come with us and be a father and a priest to us. Is it better for you to be a priest for the house of one person or a priest for a tribe and family in Israel?”
And the old man said,
Peace be with thee;
howsoever let all thy wants lie upon me; only
lodge not in the street.
“
Peace to you,” said the old man. “Let me supply everything you need. Only do not
spend the night in the square.”
Then all the children of Israel, and all the people, went up, and came unto the house of God, and
wept, and sat there before the LORD, and fasted that day until even, and offered burnt offerings and
peace offerings before the LORD.
Then the Israelites, all the people, went up to
Bethel, where they sat
weeping before the LORD. That day they fasted until evening and presented burnt offerings and
peace offerings to the LORD.
And it came to pass on the
morrow, that the people rose early, and built there an altar, and offered burnt offerings and
peace offerings.
The next day the people got up early, built an altar there, and presented burnt offerings and peace offerings.
