hem of it thou shalt make
pomegranates of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, round about the
hem thereof; and bells of gold between them round about:
Make
pomegranates of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn all the way around the lower
hem, with gold bells between them,
alternating the gold bells and
pomegranates around the lower
hem of the
robe.
And they made upon the
hems of the
robe pomegranates of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and
twined linen.
They made
pomegranates of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and finely
spun linen on the lower
hem of the
robe.
And they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the
pomegranates upon the
hem of the
robe, round about between the
pomegranates;
They also made bells of pure gold and attached them around the
hem between the
pomegranates,
alternating the bells and
pomegranates around the lower
hem of the
robe to be worn for ministry, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
And they came unto the
brook of
Eshcol, and cut down from thence a branch with one
cluster of grapes, and they bare it between two upon a staff; and they brought of the
pomegranates, and of the figs.
When they came to the Valley of
Eshcol, they cut down a branch with a single
cluster of grapes, which they carried on a pole between two men. They also took some
pomegranates and figs.
And wherefore have ye made us to come up out of Egypt, to bring us in unto this evil place? it is no place of seed, or of figs, or of vines, or of pomegranates; neither is there any water to drink.
Why have you led us up out of Egypt to bring us to this
wretched place? It is not a place of grain, figs, vines, or
pomegranates—and there is no water to drink!”
A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey;

And Saul
tarried in the
uttermost part of Gibeah under a
pomegranate tree which is in Migron: and the people that were with him were about six hundred men;
Meanwhile, Saul was staying under the
pomegranate tree in Migron on the outskirts of Gibeah. And the troops who were with him numbered about six hundred men,
And he made the pillars, and two rows round about upon the one network, to cover the chapiters that were upon the top, with
pomegranates: and so did he for the other
chapiter.
Likewise, he made the pillars with two rows of
pomegranates around each
grating to cover each capital
atop the pillars.
And the chapiters upon the two pillars had
pomegranates also above, over against the
belly which was by the network: and the
pomegranates were two hundred in rows round about upon the other
chapiter.
On the capitals of both pillars, just above the rounded projection next to the network, were the two hundred
pomegranates in rows
encircling each capital.
And four hundred
pomegranates for the two networks, even two rows of
pomegranates for one network, to cover the two
bowls of the chapiters that were upon the pillars;
the four hundred
pomegranates for the two sets of network (two rows of
pomegranates for each network covering both the
bowl-shaped capitals
atop the pillars);
The height of the one
pillar was eighteen cubits, and the
chapiter upon it was brass: and the height of the
chapiter three cubits; and the
wreathen work, and
pomegranates upon the
chapiter round about, all of brass: and like unto these had the second
pillar with
wreathen work.
Each
pillar was eighteen cubits tall. The bronze capital
atop one
pillar was three cubits high, with a network of bronze
pomegranates all around. The second
pillar, with its network, was similar.
And he made chains, as in the
oracle, and put them on the heads of the pillars; and made an hundred
pomegranates, and put them on the chains.
He made
interwoven chains and put them on top of the pillars. He made a hundred
pomegranates and fastened them into the
chainwork.
And four hundred
pomegranates on the two
wreaths; two rows of
pomegranates on each
wreath, to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which were upon the pillars.
the four hundred
pomegranates for the two sets of network (two rows of
pomegranates for each network covering both the
bowl-shaped capitals
atop the pillars);
Thy lips are like a thread of scarlet, and thy speech is comely: thy temples are like a piece of a
pomegranate within thy locks.
Your branches are an
orchard of
pomegranates with the choicest of fruits, with
henna and
nard,
As a piece of a
pomegranate are thy temples within thy locks.
I went down into the garden of nuts to see the fruits of the valley, and to see whether the vine flourished, and the
pomegranates budded.
I went down to the
walnut grove to see the blossoms of the valley, to see if the vines were
budding or the
pomegranates were in
bloom.
Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine
flourish, whether the tender
grape appear, and the
pomegranates bud forth: there will I give thee my loves.
Let us go early to the vineyards to see if the vine has
budded, if the
blossom has opened, if the
pomegranates are in
bloom— there I will give you my love.
I would lead thee, and bring thee into my mother’s house, who would
instruct me: I would cause thee to drink of
spiced wine of the juice of my
pomegranate.
I would lead you and bring you to the house of my mother who taught me. I would give you
spiced wine to drink, the
nectar of my
pomegranates.
And a
chapiter of brass was upon it; and the height of one
chapiter was five cubits, with network and
pomegranates upon the chapiters round about, all of brass. The second
pillar also and the
pomegranates were like unto these.
The bronze capital
atop one
pillar was five cubits high, with a network of bronze
pomegranates all around. The second
pillar, with its
pomegranates, was similar.
And there were
ninety and six
pomegranates on a side; and all the
pomegranates upon the network were an hundred round about.
Each capital had
ninety-six
pomegranates on the sides, and a total of a hundred
pomegranates were above the surrounding network.
The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the
pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are
withered: because joy is
withered away from the sons of men.
Is the seed yet in the
barn?
yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the
pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: from this day will I
bless you.
Is there still seed in the
barn? The vine, the fig, the
pomegranate, and the olive tree have not yet yielded fruit. But from this day on, I will
bless you.”
And he compassed him with
pomegranates, and with many golden bells round about, that as he went there might be a sound, and a noise made that might be heard in the temple, for a
memorial to the children of his people;
