Thou shalt not
wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift
doth blind the eyes of the wise, and
pervert the
words of the righteous.
Do not deny justice or show
partiality. Do not accept a
bribe, for a
bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the
words of the righteous.
And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:
It is to remain with him, and he is to read from it all the days of his life, so that he may learn to fear the LORD his God by carefully observing all the words of this instruction and these statutes.
I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. I will put My words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him.
And it shall come to pass, that
whosoever will not
hearken unto my
words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.
And I will hold accountable
anyone who does not
listen to My
words that the prophet speaks in My name.
But the prophet, which shall
presume to speak a
word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.
But if any prophet
dares to speak a message in My name that I have not commanded him to speak, or to speak in the name of other gods, that prophet must be put to death.”
And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken?
You may ask in your heart, “How can we recognize a message that the LORD has not spoken?”
And the priests the sons of Levi shall come near; for them the LORD thy God hath chosen to minister unto him, and to
bless in the name of the LORD; and by their
word shall every controversy and every stroke be tried:
And the priests, the sons of Levi, shall come forward, for the LORD your God has chosen them to serve Him and
pronounce blessings in His name and to give a ruling in every dispute and case of
assault.
And thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou art passed over, that thou mayest go in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, a land that floweth with milk and honey; as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee.
Write on them all the words of this law when you have crossed over to enter the land that the LORD your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, has promised you.
And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law very plainly.
And you shall write distinctly upon these stones all the words of this law.”
Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the
words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say,
Amen.
‘
Cursed is he who does not put the
words of this law into practice.’ And let all the people say, ‘
Amen!’
And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
Do not turn aside to the right or to the left from any of the
words I command you
today, and do not go after other gods to serve them.
If thou
wilt not observe to do all the
words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD;
If you are not careful to observe all the
words of this law which are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and
awesome name—the LORD your God—
These are the
words of the covenant, which the LORD commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, beside the covenant which he made with them in
Horeb.
These are the
words of the covenant that the LORD commanded Moses to make with the Israelites in the land of Moab, in addition to the covenant He had made with them at
Horeb.
Keep therefore the
words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may
prosper in all that ye do.
So keep and follow the
words of this covenant, that you may
prosper in all you do.
And it come to pass, when he heareth the
words of this
curse, that he
bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add
drunkenness to
thirst:
because when such a person hears the
words of this oath, he invokes a blessing on himself, saying, ‘I will have peace, even though I walk in the
stubbornness of my own heart.’ This will bring
disaster on the watered land as well as the dry.
The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children
forever, so that we may follow all the
words of this law.
But the
word is very
nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
But the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart, so that you may obey it.
And Moses went and spake these words unto all Israel.
When Moses had finished speaking these words to all Israel,
Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law:
Assemble the people—men, women, children, and the foreigners within your gates—so that they may
listen and learn to fear the LORD your God and to follow carefully all the
words of this law.
And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished,
When Moses had finished writing in a book the words of this law from beginning to end,
Gather unto me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to record against them.
Assemble before me all the elders of your tribes and all your officers so that I may speak these
words in their hearing and call heaven and earth to witness against them.
And Moses spake in the ears of all the congregation of Israel the words of this song, until they were ended.
Then Moses recited
aloud to the whole assembly of Israel the
words of this song from beginning to end:
Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
Give ear, O heavens, and I will speak; hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
And Moses came and spake all the
words of this song in the ears of the people, he, and Hoshea the son of
Nun.
Then Moses came with Joshua son of
Nun and recited all the
words of this song in the hearing of the people.
And Moses made an end of speaking all these words to all Israel:
When Moses had finished
reciting all these
words to all Israel,
And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the
words which I
testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the
words of this law.
he said to them, “Take to heart all these
words I
testify among you
today, so that you may command your children to carefully follow all the
words of this law.
For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall
prolong your days in the land,
whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.
For they are not idle words to you, because they are your life, and by them you will live long in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess.”
Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy
words.
Surely You love the people; all the holy ones are in Your hand, and they sit down at Your feet; each receives Your words—
Who said unto his father and to his mother, I have not seen him; neither did he acknowledge his brethren, nor knew his own children: for they have observed thy word, and kept thy covenant.
He said of his father and mother, ‘I do not consider them.’ He disregarded his brothers and did not know his own sons, for he kept Your word and maintained Your covenant.
So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD.
So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, as the LORD had said.
Remember the word which Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, saying, The LORD your God hath given you rest, and hath given you this land.
“Remember what Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you when he said, ‘The LORD your God will give you rest, and He will give you this land.’
Whosoever he be that
doth rebel against thy commandment, and will not
hearken unto thy
words in all that thou commandest him, he shall be put to death: only be strong and of a good courage.
Anyone who rebels against your order and does not obey your
words, all that you command him, will be put to death. Above all, be strong and
courageous!”
And she said, According unto your words, so be it. And she sent them away, and they departed: and she bound the scarlet line in the window.
“Let it be as you say,” she replied, and she sent them away. And when they had gone, she
tied the scarlet cord in the window.
And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, Come
hither, and hear the
words of the LORD your God.
So Joshua told the Israelites, “Come here and
listen to the
words of the LORD your God.”
And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not
shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall any
word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I
bid you
shout; then shall ye
shout.
But Joshua had commanded the people: “Do not give a battle cry or let your voice be heard; do not let one
word come out of your mouth until the day I tell you to
shout. Then you are to
shout!”
Only the cattle and the
spoil of that city Israel took for a prey unto themselves, according unto the
word of the LORD which he commanded Joshua.
Israel took for themselves only the cattle and
plunder of that city, as the LORD had commanded Joshua.
And afterward he read all the words of the law, the blessings and cursings, according to all that is written in the book of the law.
Afterward, Joshua read
aloud all the
words of the law—the blessings and the curses—according to all that is written in the Book of the Law.
There was not a
word of all that Moses commanded, which Joshua read not before all the congregation of Israel, with the women, and the little ones, and the strangers that were
conversant among them.
There was not a word of all that Moses had commanded that Joshua failed to read before the whole assembly of Israel, including the women, the little ones, and the foreigners who lived among them.
Wherefore Adoni-zedek king of Jerusalem sent unto Hoham king of
Hebron, and unto Piram king of Jarmuth, and unto Japhia king of
Lachish, and unto Debir king of
Eglon, saying,
Therefore Adoni-zedek king of Jerusalem sent
word to Hoham king of
Hebron, Piram king of Jarmuth, Japhia king of
Lachish, and Debir king of
Eglon, saying,
And the men of
Gibeon sent unto Joshua to the camp to
Gilgal, saying,
Slack not thy hand from thy servants; come up to us quickly, and save us, and help us: for all the kings of the
Amorites that dwell in the mountains are gathered together against us.
Then the men of
Gibeon sent
word to Joshua in the camp at
Gilgal: “Do not
abandon your servants. Come quickly and save us! Help us, because all the kings of the
Amorites from the hill country have joined forces against us.”
And all the people returned to the camp to Joshua at Makkedah in peace: none moved his tongue against any of the children of Israel.
The whole army returned safely to Joshua in the camp at Makkedah, and no one
dared to utter a
word against the Israelites.
And it came to pass, when Jabin king of Hazor had heard those things, that he sent to Jobab king of Madon, and to the king of Shimron, and to the king of Achshaph,
Now when Jabin king of Hazor heard about these things, he sent word to Jobab king of Madon; to the kings of Shimron and Achshaph;
Forty years old was I when Moses the servant of the LORD sent me from Kadesh-barnea to
espy out the land; and I brought him
word again as it was in mine heart.
I was forty years old when Moses the servant of the LORD sent me from Kadesh-barnea to
spy out the land, and I brought back to him an
honest report.
And now, behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the LORD spake this
word unto Moses, while the children of Israel
wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day
fourscore and five years old.
Now behold, as the LORD promised, He has kept me alive these forty-five years since He spoke this
word to Moses, while Israel
wandered in the wilderness. So here I am
today, eighty-five years old,
According to the word of the LORD they gave him the city which he asked, even Timnath-serah in mount Ephraim: and he built the city, and dwelt therein.
as the LORD had commanded. They gave him the city of Timnath-serah in the hill country of Ephraim, as he requested. He rebuilt the city and settled in it.
And the children of
Reuben and the children of
Gad and the half tribe of
Manasseh returned, and departed from the children of Israel out of
Shiloh, which is in the land of
Canaan, to go unto the country of
Gilead, to the land of their possession,
whereof they were possessed, according to the
word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
So the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of
Manasseh left the Israelites at
Shiloh in the land of
Canaan to return to their own land of
Gilead, which they had acquired according to the command of the LORD through Moses.
And when
Phinehas the priest, and the princes of the congregation and heads of the thousands of Israel which were with him, heard the
words that the children of
Reuben and the children of
Gad and the children of
Manasseh spake, it pleased them.
When
Phinehas the priest and the chiefs of the congregation—the heads of Israel’s clans who were with him—heard what the descendants of
Reuben,
Gad, and
Manasseh had to say, they were satisfied.
And
Phinehas the son of
Eleazar the priest, and the princes, returned from the children of
Reuben, and from the children of
Gad, out of the land of
Gilead, unto the land of
Canaan, to the children of Israel, and brought them
word again.
Then
Phinehas son of
Eleazar the priest, together with the other leaders, returned to the Israelites in the land of
Canaan and brought back a report regarding the Reubenites and Gadites in the land of
Gilead.
And Joshua wrote these words in the book of the law of God, and took a great stone, and set it up there under an oak, that was by the sanctuary of the LORD.
Joshua recorded these things in the Book of the Law of God. Then he took a large stone and set it up there under the oak that was near the sanctuary of the LORD.
And Joshua said unto all the people, Behold, this stone shall be a witness unto us; for it hath heard all the words of the LORD which he spake unto us: it shall be therefore a witness unto you, lest ye deny your God.
And Joshua said to all the people, “You see this stone. It will be a witness against us, for it has heard all the words the LORD has spoken to us, and it will be a witness against you if you ever deny your God.”
And it came to pass, when the angel of the LORD spake these
words unto all the children of Israel, that the people lifted up their voice, and
wept.
When the angel of the LORD had spoken these
words to all the Israelites, the people lifted up their voices and
wept.
And Ehud came unto him; and he was sitting in a summer parlour, which he had for himself alone. And Ehud said, I have a message from God unto thee. And he arose out of his seat.
Then Ehud approached him while he was sitting alone in the coolness of his upper room. “I have a word from God for you,” Ehud said, and the king rose from his seat.
And his mother’s brethren spake of him in the ears of all the men of
Shechem all these
words: and their hearts inclined to follow
Abimelech; for they said, He is our brother.
And when his mother’s brothers spoke all these
words about him in the presence of all the leaders of
Shechem, their hearts were inclined to follow
Abimelech, for they said, “He is our brother.”
And when Zebul the ruler of the city heard the
words of Gaal the son of Ebed, his anger was
kindled.
When Zebul the governor of the city heard the words of Gaal son of Ebed, he burned with anger.
And the elders of
Gilead said unto
Jephthah, The LORD be witness between us, if we do not so according to thy
words.
And the elders of
Gilead said to
Jephthah, “The LORD is our witness if we do not do as you say.”
Then
Jephthah went with the elders of
Gilead, and the people made him head and captain over them: and
Jephthah uttered all his
words before the LORD in Mizpeh.
So
Jephthah went with the elders of
Gilead, and the people made him their leader and commander. And
Jephthah repeated all his terms in the presence of the LORD at
Mizpah.
And it came to pass, when he saw her, that he rent his clothes, and said,
Alas, my daughter! thou hast brought me very low, and thou art one of them that trouble me: for I have opened my mouth unto the LORD, and I cannot go back.
As soon as
Jephthah saw her, he
tore his clothes and said, “No! Not my daughter! You have brought me to my knees! You have brought great misery upon me, for I have given my
word to the LORD and cannot take it back.”
And she said unto him, My father, if thou hast opened thy mouth unto the LORD, do to me according to that which hath proceeded out of thy mouth;
forasmuch as the LORD hath taken
vengeance for thee of thine enemies, even of the children of
Ammon.
“My father,” she replied, “you have given your
word to the LORD. Do to me as you have said, for the LORD has
avenged you of your enemies, the
Ammonites.”
And
Manoah said, Now let thy
words come to pass. How shall we order the child, and how shall we do unto him?
Then
Manoah asked, “When your
words come to pass, what will be the boy’s rule of life and mission?”
And
Manoah said unto the angel of the LORD, What is thy name, that when thy sayings come to pass we may do thee honour?
Then
Manoah said to the angel of the LORD, “What is your name, so that we may honor you when your
word comes to pass?”
And it came to pass, when she pressed him daily with her
words, and urged him, so that his soul was
vexed unto death;
Finally, after she had pressed him daily with her
words and
pleaded until he was sick to death,
And Elkanah her husband said unto her, Do what seemeth thee good;
tarry until thou have
weaned him; only the LORD establish his
word. So the woman abode, and gave her son
suck until she
weaned him.
“Do what you think is best,” her husband Elkanah replied, “and stay here until you have
weaned him. Only may the LORD
confirm His
word.” So
Hannah stayed and
nursed her son until she had
weaned him.
And the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before
Eli. And the
word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open vision.
And the boy Samuel ministered to the LORD before
Eli. Now in those days the
word of the LORD was rare and visions were
scarce.
Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, neither was the word of the LORD yet revealed unto him.
Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, because the word of the LORD had not yet been revealed to him.
And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground.
And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and He let none of Samuel’s words fall to the ground.
And the LORD appeared again in
Shiloh: for the LORD revealed himself to Samuel in
Shiloh by the
word of the LORD.
And the LORD continued to appear at
Shiloh, because there He revealed Himself to Samuel by His
word.
And the word of Samuel came to all Israel. Now Israel went out against the Philistines to battle, and pitched beside Eben-ezer: and the Philistines pitched in Aphek.
Thus the
word of Samuel came to all Israel. Now the Israelites went out to meet the Philistines in battle and camped at
Ebenezer, while the Philistines camped at Aphek.
And Samuel told all the words of the LORD unto the people that asked of him a king.
So Samuel spoke all the words of the LORD to the people who were asking him for a king.
And Samuel heard all the
words of the people, and he
rehearsed them in the ears of the LORD.
Samuel
listened to all the
words of the people and repeated them in the hearing of the LORD.
And as they were going down to the end of the city, Samuel said to Saul,
Bid the servant pass on before us, (and he passed on,) but stand thou still a while, that I may
shew thee the
word of God.
As they were going down to the edge of the city, Samuel said to Saul, “Tell the servant to go on
ahead of us, but you stay for a while, and I will
reveal to you the
word of God.” So the servant went on.
Then came the messengers to Gibeah of Saul, and told the
tidings in the ears of the people: and all the people lifted up their voices, and
wept.
When the messengers came to Gibeah of Saul and relayed these
words in the hearing of the people, they all
wept aloud.
And, behold, Saul came after the
herd out of the field; and Saul said, What aileth the people that they
weep? And they told him the
tidings of the men of
Jabesh.
Just then Saul was returning from the field, behind his oxen. “What troubles the people?” asked Saul. “Why are they
weeping?” And they relayed to him the
words of the men from
Jabesh.
And the Spirit of God came upon Saul when he heard those
tidings, and his anger was
kindled greatly.
When Saul heard their
words, the Spirit of God
rushed upon him, and he burned with great anger.
For, as the LORD liveth, which saveth Israel, though it be in
Jonathan my son, he shall surely die. But there was not a man among all the people that answered him.
As surely as the LORD who saves Israel lives, even if it is my son
Jonathan, he must die!” But not one of the troops said a
word.
Samuel also said unto Saul, The LORD sent me to
anoint thee to be king over his people, over Israel: now therefore
hearken thou unto the voice of the
words of the LORD.
Then Samuel said to Saul, “The LORD sent me to
anoint you king over His people Israel. Now therefore,
listen to the
words of the LORD.
Then came the word of the LORD unto Samuel, saying,
Then the word of the LORD came to Samuel, saying,
For rebellion is as the sin of
witchcraft, and
stubbornness is as iniquity and
idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the
word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
For rebellion is like the sin of
divination, and
arrogance is like the wickedness of
idolatry. Because you have rejected the
word of the LORD, He has rejected you as king.”
And Saul said unto Samuel, I have
sinned: for I have
transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy
words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.
Then Saul said to Samuel, “I have
sinned; I have
transgressed the LORD’s commandment and your instructions, because I feared the people and obeyed their voice.
And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel.
“I will not return with you,” Samuel replied. “For you have rejected the word of the LORD, and He has rejected you as king over Israel.”
And Saul sent to
Jesse, saying, Let David, I pray thee, stand before me; for he hath found favour in my sight.
Then Saul sent
word to
Jesse, saying, “Let David remain in my service, for I am pleased with him.”
When Saul and all Israel heard those
words of the
Philistine, they were dismayed, and greatly afraid.
On hearing the
words of the
Philistine, Saul and all the Israelites were dismayed and greatly afraid.
And as he talked with them, behold, there came up the
champion, the
Philistine of
Gath,
Goliath by name, out of the armies of the Philistines, and spake according to the same
words: and David heard them.
And as he was speaking with them, suddenly the
champion named
Goliath, the
Philistine from
Gath, came forward from the Philistines and
shouted his usual
words, which David also heard.
And when the
words were heard which David spake, they
rehearsed them before Saul: and he sent for him.
Now David’s words were overheard and reported to Saul, who called for him.
And Saul’s servants spake those words in the ears of David. And David said, Seemeth it to you a light thing to be a king’s son in law, seeing that I am a poor man, and lightly esteemed?
But when Saul’s servants relayed these
words to David, he replied, “Does it seem
trivial in your sight to be the son-in-law of the king? I am a poor man and lightly esteemed.”
And when his servants told David these
words, it pleased David well to be the king’s son in law: and the days were not
expired.
When the servants reported these terms to David, he was pleased to become the king’s son-in-law. Before the
wedding day arrived,
And David laid up these
words in his heart, and was
sore afraid of Achish the king of
Gath.
Now David took these
words to heart and was very much afraid of Achish the king of
Gath.
So David stayed his servants with these words, and suffered them not to rise against Saul. But Saul rose up out of the cave, and went on his way.
With these words David restrained his men, and he did not let them rise up against Saul. Then Saul left the cave and went on his way.
And David said to Saul, Wherefore hearest thou men’s
words, saying, Behold, David seeketh thy
hurt?
and said to Saul, “Why do you
listen to the
words of men who say, ‘Look, David intends to
harm you’?
And it came to pass, when David had made an end of speaking these
words unto Saul, that Saul said, Is this thy voice, my son David? And Saul lifted up his voice, and
wept.
When David had finished saying these things, Saul called back, “Is that your voice, David my son?” Then Saul
wept aloud And when David’s young men came, they spake to Nabal according to all those words in the name of David, and ceased.
When David’s young men arrived, they relayed all these words to Nabal on behalf of David. Then they waited.
So David’s young men turned their way, and went again, and came and told him all those sayings.
So David’s men turned around and went back, and they relayed to him all these words.
And fell at his feet, and said, Upon me, my lord, upon me let this iniquity be: and let thine
handmaid, I pray thee, speak in thine
audience, and hear the
words of thine
handmaid.
She fell at his feet and said, “My lord, may the
blame be on me alone, but please let your servant speak to you; hear the
words of your servant.
And when David heard that Nabal was dead, he said, Blessed be the LORD, that hath
pleaded the cause of my reproach from the hand of Nabal, and hath kept his servant from evil: for the LORD hath returned the wickedness of Nabal upon his own head. And David sent and communed with
Abigail, to take her to him to wife.
On hearing that Nabal was dead, David said, “Blessed be the LORD, who has
upheld my cause against the reproach of Nabal and has restrained His servant from evil. For the LORD has brought the wickedness of Nabal down upon his own head.” Then David sent
word to
Abigail, asking for her in marriage.
Now therefore, I pray thee, let my lord the king hear the
words of his servant. If the LORD have
stirred thee up against me, let him accept an offering: but if they be the children of men,
cursed be they before the LORD; for they have driven me out this day from
abiding in the inheritance of the LORD, saying, Go, serve other gods.
Now please, may my lord the king hear the
words of his servant: If the LORD has
stirred you up against me, then may He accept an offering. But if men have done it, may they be
cursed in the presence of the LORD! For
today they have driven me away from sharing in the inheritance of the LORD, saying, ‘Go, serve other gods.’
Then Saul fell
straightway all along on the earth, and was
sore afraid, because of the
words of Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the day, nor all the night.
Immediately Saul fell flat on the ground,
terrified by the
words of Samuel. And his strength was gone, because he had not eaten anything all that day and night.
And the woman came unto Saul, and saw that he was
sore troubled, and said unto him, Behold, thine
handmaid hath obeyed thy voice, and I have put my life in my hand, and have
hearkened unto thy
words which thou spakest unto me.
When the woman came to Saul and saw how
distraught he was, she said to him, “Look, your
maidservant has obeyed your voice. I took my life in my hands and did as you told me.
Then was
Abner very
wroth for the
words of
Ish-bosheth, and said, Am I a dog’s head, which against Judah do
shew kindness this day unto the house of Saul thy father, to his brethren, and to his friends, and have not delivered thee into the hand of David, that thou chargest me to day with a fault concerning this woman?
Abner was
furious over
Ish-bosheth’s
accusation. “Am I the head of a dog that belongs to Judah?” he asked. “All this time I have been
loyal to the house of your father Saul, to his brothers, and to his friends. I have not delivered you into the hand of David, but now you
accuse me of
wrongdoing with this woman!
And he could not answer
Abner a
word again, because he feared him.
And for fear of
Abner,
Ish-bosheth did not
dare to say another
word to him.
And it came to pass that night, that the
word of the LORD came unto
Nathan, saying,
But that night the
word of the LORD came to
Nathan, saying,
