Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the
Almighty, who shall
bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the
breasts, and of the
womb:
by the God of your father who helps you, and by the
Almighty who blesses you, with blessings of the heavens above, with blessings of the depths below, with blessings of the

And these are the garments which they shall make; a
breastplate, and an
ephod, and a
robe, and a
broidered coat, a
mitre, and a
girdle: and they shall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and his sons, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office.
These are the garments that they shall make: a
breastpiece, an
ephod, a
robe, a
woven tunic, a
turban, and a
sash. They are to make these holy garments for your brother Aaron and his sons, so that they may serve Me as priests.
And thou shalt make the
breastplate of judgment with
cunning work; after the work of the
ephod thou shalt make it; of gold, of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine
twined linen, shalt thou make it.
You are also to make a
breastpiece of judgment with the same
workmanship as the
ephod. Construct it with gold, with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and with finely
spun linen.
For the
breastpiece, make
braided chains like cords of pure gold.
And thou shalt make upon the
breastplate two rings of gold, and shalt put the two rings on the two ends of the
breastplate.
You are also to make two gold rings and
fasten them to the two corners of the
breastpiece.
And thou shalt put the two
wreathen chains of gold in the two rings which are on the ends of the
breastplate.
Then
fasten the two gold chains to the two gold rings at the corners of the
breastpiece,
And thou shalt make two rings of gold, and thou shalt put them upon the two ends of the
breastplate in the border thereof, which is in the side of the
ephod inward.
Make two more gold rings and
attach them to the other two corners of the
breastpiece, on the inside edge next to the
ephod.
The rings of the
breastpiece shall be
tied to the rings of the
ephod with a cord of blue yarn, so that the
breastpiece is above the
waistband of the
ephod and does not
swing out from the
ephod.

breastplate of judgment upon his heart, when he goeth in unto the holy place, for a

And thou shalt put in the
breastplate of judgment the
Urim and the
Thummim; and they shall be upon Aaron’s heart, when he goeth in before the LORD: and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart before the LORD continually.
And place the
Urim and
Thummim in the
breastpiece of judgment, so that they will also be over Aaron’s heart whenever he comes before the LORD. Aaron will continually carry the judgment of the sons of Israel over his heart before the LORD.

And thou shalt
sanctify the
breast of the wave offering, and the shoulder of the
heave offering, which is waved, and which is
heaved up, of the ram of the
consecration, even of that which is for Aaron, and of that which is for his sons:
Consecrate for Aaron and his sons the
breast of the wave offering that is waved and the
thigh of the
heave offering that is lifted up from the ram of
ordination.

breastplate by his rings unto the rings of the
ephod with a lace of blue, that it might be above the curious
girdle of the
ephod, and that the
breastplate might not be loosed from the
ephod; as the LORD commanded Moses.
Then they
tied the rings of the
breastpiece to the rings of the
ephod with a cord of blue yarn, so that the
breastpiece was above the
waistband of the
ephod and would not
swing out from the

His own hands shall bring the offerings of the LORD made by fire, the fat with the breast, it shall he bring, that the breast may be waved for a wave offering before the LORD.
With his own hands he is to bring the offerings made by fire to the LORD; he shall bring the fat, together with the breast, and wave the breast as a wave offering before the LORD.
And the priest shall burn the fat upon the altar: but the breast shall be Aaron’s and his sons’.
The priest is to burn the fat on the altar, but the breast belongs to Aaron and his sons.
For the wave
breast and the
heave shoulder have I taken of the children of Israel from off the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and have given them unto Aaron the priest and unto his sons by a statute for ever from among the children of Israel.

And the wave
breast and
heave shoulder shall ye eat in a clean place; thou, and thy sons, and thy daughters with thee: for they be thy due, and thy sons’ due, which are given out of the sacrifices of peace offerings of the children of Israel.
And you and your sons and daughters may eat the
breast of the wave offering and the
thigh of the contribution in a
ceremonially clean place, because these portions have been assigned to you and your children from the peace offerings of the sons of Israel.
The
heave shoulder and the wave
breast shall they bring with the offerings made by fire of the fat, to wave it for a wave offering before the LORD; and it shall be thine, and thy sons’ with thee, by a statute for ever; as the LORD hath commanded.

breast of the wave offering and the
thigh that was presented. After that, the
Nazirite may drink wine.

breasts that I should
suck?
Why were there knees to receive me, and
breasts that I should be
nursed?

pluck the fatherless from the
breast, and take a
pledge of the poor.
The fatherless infant is
snatched from the
breast; the
nursing child of the poor is seized for a debt.
But thou art he that took me out of the
womb: thou
didst make me hope when I was upon my mother’s
breasts.
Yet You brought me forth from the
womb; You made me secure at my mother’s
breast.

roe; let her
breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou
ravished always with her love.
My beloved is to me a
sachet of
myrrh resting between my
breasts.
Thy two
breasts are like two young roes that are twins, which feed among the
lilies.
Thy two breasts are like two young roes that are twins.
Your
breasts are like two fawns, twins of a
gazelle.
This thy
stature is like to a palm tree, and thy
breasts to clusters of grapes.
Your
stature is like a palm tree; your
breasts are clusters of fruit.
I said, I will go up to the palm tree, I will take hold of the boughs thereof: now also thy breasts shall be as clusters of the vine, and the smell of thy nose like apples;
I said, “I will
climb the palm tree; I will take hold of its fruit.” May your
breasts be like clusters of the vine, the
fragrance of your breath like apples,
O that thou
wert as my brother, that
sucked the
breasts of my mother! when I should find thee without, I would
kiss thee;
yea, I should not be
despised.
O that you were to me like a brother who
nursed at my mother’s
breasts! If I found you outdoors, I would
kiss you, and no one would
despise me.
We have a little sister, and she hath no breasts: what shall we do for our sister in the day when she shall be spoken for?
We have a little sister, and her breasts are not yet grown. What shall we do for our sister on the day she is spoken for?

I am a wall, and my breasts are like towers. So I have become in his eyes like one who brings peace.
Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are
weaned from the milk, and drawn from the
breasts.
Whom is He trying to teach? To whom is He explaining His message? To infants just
weaned from milk? To
babies removed from the
breast?
They shall
lament for the teats, for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine.
Beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vines,

breastplate, and an
helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of
vengeance for clothing, and was
clad with zeal as a
cloke.

suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt
suck the
breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy
Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

nurse at the
breasts of
royalty; you will know that I, the LORD, am your
Savior and your
Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.

suck, and be satisfied with the
breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.
so that you may
nurse and be satisfied at her comforting
breasts; you may drink deeply and delight
yourselves in her glorious abundance.
Even the sea monsters draw out the
breast, they give
suck to their young ones: the daughter of my people is become cruel, like the ostriches in the wilderness.
Even jackals offer their
breasts to
nurse their young, but the daughter of my people has become cruel, like an
ostrich in the wilderness.
I have caused thee to multiply as the
bud of the field, and thou hast increased and
waxen great, and thou art come to excellent ornaments: thy
breasts are fashioned, and thine hair is grown, whereas thou
wast naked and bare.
I made you
thrive like a plant of the field. You grew up and
matured and became very beautiful. Your
breasts were formed and your hair grew, but you were naked and bare.
And they committed whoredoms in Egypt; they committed whoredoms in their youth: there were their
breasts pressed, and there they
bruised the teats of their
virginity.

prostituting themselves from their youth. Their
breasts were
fondled there, and their virgin bosoms
caressed.
Neither left she her whoredoms brought from Egypt: for in her youth they lay with her, and they
bruised the
breasts of her
virginity, and poured their
whoredom upon her.
So you revisited the
indecency of your youth, when the Egyptians
caressed your
bosom and pressed your young
breasts.
Thou shalt even drink it and
suck it out, and thou shalt break the sherds thereof, and
pluck off thine own
breasts: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
You will drink it and
drain it; you will
dash it to pieces, and
tear your
breasts. For I have spoken,’ declares the Lord GOD.
This image’s head was of fine gold, his
breast and his arms of silver, his

Plead with your mother,
plead: for she is not my wife, neither am I her husband: let her therefore put away her whoredoms out of her sight, and her
adulteries from between her
breasts;
Rebuke your mother,
rebuke her, for she is not My wife, and I am not her husband. Let her remove the
adultery from her face and the unfaithfulness from between her
breasts.

womb and dry
breasts.

captive, she shall be brought up, and her maids shall lead her as with the voice of doves, tabering upon their
breasts.

moan like doves, and beat upon their
breasts.
And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the
womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast
sucked.
As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said, “Blessed is the
womb that bore You, and blessed are the
breasts that
nursed You!”
But the tax

suck.

breasts that never
nursed!’
And all the people that came together to that sight, beholding the things which were done,
smote their
breasts, and returned.

seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also
leaned on his

leaned back against Jesus at the
supper to ask, “Lord, who is going to
betray You?”
Stand therefore, having your loins
girt about with truth, and having on the
breastplate of righteousness;
But let us, who are of the day, be
sober, putting on the
breastplate of faith and love; and for an
helmet, the hope of salvation.
But since we belong to the day, let us be
sober, putting on the
breastplate of faith and love, and the
helmet of our hope of salvation.
And they had
breastplates, as it were
breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of
chariots of many horses running to battle.
They also had thoraxes like
breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the
roar of many horses and
chariots rushing into battle.
And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having
breastplates of fire, and of
jacinth, and
brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and
brimstone.
Now the horses and riders in my vision looked like this: The riders had
breastplates the colors of fire,
sapphire, and sulfur. The heads of the horses were like the heads of lions, and out of their mouths proceeded fire, smoke, and sulfur.
And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their

girded with golden sashes around their chests.
For thou hast commanded out of the parts of the body, that is to say, out of the breasts, milk to be given, which is the fruit of the breasts,
And I took it, and
drank: and when I had
drunk of it, my heart uttered understanding, and wisdom grew in my
breast, for my spirit strengthened my memory:
He shall put on righteousness as a
breastplate, and true judgment instead of an
helmet.

congealed into ice, it abideth upon every gathering together of water, and clotheth the water as with a
breastplate.

breastplate of judgment, and with
Urim and
Thummim;

gat his people great honour, and put on a

giant, and
girt his warlike

girt with
sackcloth under their
breasts, abounded in the streets, and the virgins that were kept in ran, some to the gates, and some to the walls, and others looked out of the windows.
For there were two women brought, who had
circumcised their children; whom when they had openly led round about the city, the babes handing at their
breasts, they cast them down
headlong from the wall.
