cloud, and it shall be for a
token of a covenant between me and the earth.
I have set My
rainbow in the
clouds, and it will be a sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.
And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:
Whenever I form
clouds over the earth and the
rainbow appears in the
clouds,
And the bow shall be in the
cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the
everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.
And whenever the
rainbow appears in the
clouds, I will see it and remember the
everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of every kind that is on the earth.”

Miriam, and, behold, she was
leprous.

And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: for they have heard that thou LORD art among this people, that thou LORD art seen face to face, and that thy
cloud standeth over them, and that thou goest before them, by
daytime in a
pillar of a
cloud, and in a
pillar of fire by night.

cloud by day and a
pillar of fire by night.

Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his
excellency on the sky.
“There is none like the God of
Jeshurun, who rides the heavens to your aid, and the
clouds in His majesty.
LORD, when thou wentest out of
Seir, when thou marchedst out of the field of
Edom, the earth
trembled, and the heavens dropped, the
clouds also dropped water.
O LORD, when You went out from
Seir, when You marched from the land of
Edom, the earth
trembled, the heavens poured out rain, and the
clouds poured down water.
Now there was an appointed sign between the men of Israel and the liers in wait, that they should make a great flame with smoke rise up out of the city.

ambush: When they sent up a great
cloud of smoke from the city,
He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness was under his feet.

And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, and thick
clouds of the
skies.
He made darkness a

clouds.

On the seventh time the servant reported, “There is a
cloud as small as a man’s hand rising from the sea.” And
Elijah replied, “Go and tell
Ahab, ‘Prepare your
chariot and go down before the rain stops you.’”
And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with
clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And
Ahab rode, and went to
Jezreel.

clouds and wind, and a heavy rain began to fall. So
Ahab rode away and went to
Jezreel.

cloud, even the house of the LORD;
The trumpeters and singers joined together to praise and

trumpets, cymbals, and musical instruments, in praise to the LORD: “For He is good; His loving devotion endures

Moreover thou leddest them in the day by a
cloudy pillar; and in the night by a
pillar of fire, to give them light in the way wherein they should go.
You led them with a
pillar of
cloud by day and a
pillar of fire by night, to light for them the way in which they should travel.
Yet thou in thy
manifold mercies forsookest them not in the wilderness: the
pillar of the
cloud departed not from them by day, to lead them in the way; neither the
pillar of fire by night, to
shew them light, and the way wherein they should go.
You in Your great
compassion did not
forsake them in the wilderness. By day the
pillar of
cloud never turned away from guiding them on their path; and by the night the
pillar of fire
illuminated the way they should go.
Let darkness and the shadow of death
stain it; let a
cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day
terrify it.
May darkness and
gloom reclaim it, and a
cloud settle over it; may the blackness of the day
overwhelm it.
As the cloud is consumed and vanisheth away: so he that goeth down to the grave shall come up no more.
As a
cloud vanishes and is gone, so he who goes down to
Sheol does not come back up.
Though his
excellency mount up to the heavens, and his head reach unto the
clouds;
Though his
arrogance reaches the heavens, and his head touches the
clouds,
And thou sayest, How
doth God know? can he judge through the dark
cloud?
Yet you say: ‘What does God know? Does He judge through thick darkness?
Thick
clouds are a covering to him, that he
seeth not; and he walketh in the circuit of heaven.
Thick
clouds veil Him so He does not see us as He traverses the
vault of heaven.’
He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.
He wraps up the waters in His
clouds, yet the
clouds do not
burst under their own weight.
He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it.
He covers the face of the full moon, spreading over it His cloud.
Terrors are turned upon me: they pursue my soul as the wind: and my
welfare passeth away as a
cloud.
Terrors are turned loose against me; they drive away my dignity as by the wind, and my prosperity has passed like a cloud.
Look unto the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds which are higher than thou.
Look to the heavens and see;
gaze at the
clouds high above you.
Which the
clouds do drop and
distil upon man abundantly.
which the clouds pour out and shower abundantly on mankind.
Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise of his tabernacle?
With
clouds he covereth the light; and commandeth it not to
shine by the
cloud that cometh
betwixt.
He fills His hands with
lightning and commands it to strike its mark.
Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud:
He loads the
clouds with moisture; He scatters His
lightning through them.
Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his
cloud to
shine?
Do you know how God dispatches the
clouds or makes the
lightning flash?
Dost thou know the balancings of the
clouds, the
wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?
Do you understand how the
clouds float, those wonders of Him who is perfect in knowledge?
And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.
Now no one can
gaze at the sun when it is bright in the
skies after the wind has swept them clean.
When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it,
when I made the
clouds its garment and thick darkness its
blanket,
Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee?
Can you command the clouds so that a flood of water covers you?
Who can number the clouds in wisdom? or who can stay the bottles of heaven,
Who has the wisdom to count the
clouds? Or who can
tilt the water jars of the heavens
He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet.
He parted the heavens and came down with dark clouds beneath His feet.
He made darkness his secret place; his
pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick
clouds of the
skies.
He made darkness His hiding place, and storm
clouds a
canopy around Him.
At the brightness that was before him his thick
clouds passed,
hail stones and coals of fire.
From the brightness of His presence His clouds advanced— hailstones and coals of fire.
Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.
Your loving devotion, O LORD, reaches to the heavens, Your faithfulness to the clouds.
For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds.
For Your loving devotion reaches to the heavens, and Your faithfulness to the clouds.
Sing unto God, sing praises to his name:
extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name
JAH, and
rejoice before him.
Sing to God! Sing praises to His name.
Exalt Him who rides on the
clouds— His name is the LORD— and
rejoice before Him.
Ascribe ye strength unto God: his
excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the
clouds.
Ascribe the power to God, whose majesty is over Israel, whose strength is in the
skies.
The
clouds poured out water: the
skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad.
The
clouds poured down water; the
skies resounded with
thunder; Your arrows
flashed back and forth.
In the
daytime also he led them with a
cloud, and all the night with a light of fire.
He led them with a cloud by day and with a light of fire all night.
Though he had commanded the clouds from above, and opened the doors of heaven,
Yet He commanded the clouds above and opened the doors of the heavens.
Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of
thunder: I proved thee at the waters of Meribah.
Selah.
You called out in distress, and I
rescued you; I answered you from the
cloud of
thunder; I tested you at the waters of Meribah.
Selah Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the
habitation of his throne.
Clouds and darkness
surround Him; righteousness and justice are His throne’s foundation.
He spoke to them from the
pillar of
cloud; they kept His decrees and the statutes He gave them.
Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the
clouds his
chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:
laying the beams of His chambers in the waters above, making the
clouds His
chariot, walking on the wings of the wind.
He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.
He spread a cloud as a covering and a fire to light up the night.
For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.
For Your loving devotion extends beyond the heavens, and Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
He causeth the vapours to
ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his
treasuries.
He causes the
clouds to rise from the ends of the earth. He generates the
lightning with the rain and brings forth the wind from His storehouses.
Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.
who covers the sky with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who makes grass to grow on the hills.
By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the
clouds drop down the
dew.
By His knowledge the
watery depths were broken open, and the
clouds dripped with
dew.
When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:
when He established the
clouds above, when the fountains of the deep
gushed forth,
