For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.
Though the mountains may be removed and the hills may be
shaken, My loving devotion will not depart from you, and My
covenant of peace will not be broken,” says the LORD, who has
compassion on you.
Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an
everlasting covenant with you, even the sure
mercies of David.
Incline your ear and come to Me;
listen, so that your soul may live. I will make with you an
everlasting covenant— My loving devotion promised to David.
For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;
For this is what the LORD says: “To the eunuchs who keep My Sabbaths, who choose what pleases Me and hold fast to My covenant—
Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from
polluting it, and taketh hold of my
covenant;
And the foreigners who join themselves to the LORD to minister to Him, to love the name of the LORD, and to be His servants— all who keep the Sabbath without
profaning it and who hold fast to My
covenant—
Behind the doors also and the posts hast thou set up thy
remembrance: for thou hast discovered
thyself to another than me, and art gone up; thou hast enlarged thy bed, and made thee a
covenant with them; thou lovedst their bed where thou sawest it.
Behind the door and
doorpost you have set up your
memorial.
Forsaking Me, you uncovered your bed; you
climbed up and opened it wide. And you have made a
pact with those whose bed you have loved; you have
gazed upon their nakedness.
As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.
“As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the LORD. “My Spirit will not depart from you, and My words that I have put in your mouth will not depart from your mouth or from the mouths of your children and grandchildren, from now on and forevermore,” says the LORD.
For I the LORD love judgment, I
hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an
everlasting covenant with them.
And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.
“In those days, when you multiply and increase in the land,” declares the LORD, “they will no longer
discuss the ark of the
covenant of the LORD. It will never come to mind, and no one will remember it or miss it, nor will another one be made.
Hear ye the words of this covenant, and speak unto the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem;
“
Listen to the words of this
covenant and tell them to the men of Judah and the residents of Jerusalem.
And say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel;
Cursed be the man that obeyeth not the words of this
covenant,
You must tell them that this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says:
Cursed is the man who does not obey the words of this
covenant,
Then the LORD said unto me,
Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear ye the words of this
covenant, and do them.
Then the LORD said to me, “
Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying: Hear the words of this
covenant and carry them out.
Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every one in the imagination of their evil heart: therefore I will bring upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do; but they did them not.
Yet they would not obey or
incline their ears, but each one followed the
stubbornness of his evil heart. So I brought on them all the curses of this
covenant I had commanded them to follow but they did not keep.”
They are turned back to the
iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my
covenant which I made with their fathers.
They have returned to the sins of their forefathers who refused to obey My words. They have followed other gods to serve them. The house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken the covenant I made with their fathers.
Do not
abhor us, for thy name’s sake, do not disgrace the throne of thy glory: remember, break not thy
covenant with us.
For the sake of Your name do not
despise us; do not disgrace Your glorious throne. Remember Your
covenant with us; do not break it.
Then they shall answer, Because they have
forsaken the
covenant of the LORD their God, and worshipped other gods, and served them.
Then people will reply, ‘Because they have
forsaken the
covenant of the LORD their God and have worshiped and served other gods.’”
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
Behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.
Not according to the
covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my
covenant they
brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
It will not be like the covenant I made with their fathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt— a covenant they broke, though I was a husband to them,” declares the LORD.
But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
“But this is the
covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the LORD. I will put My law in their minds and
inscribe it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they will be My people.
And I will make an
everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.
I will make an
everlasting covenant with them: I will never turn away from doing good to them, and I will put My fear in their hearts, so that they will never turn away from Me.
Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;
“This is what the LORD says: If you can break My covenant with the day and My covenant with the night, so that day and night cease to occupy their appointed time,
Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.
then My covenant may also be broken with David My servant and with My ministers the Levites who are priests, so that David will not have a son to reign on his throne.
Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;
This is what the LORD says: If I have not established My covenant with the day and the night and the fixed order of heaven and earth,
This is the word that came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, after that the king
Zedekiah had made a
covenant with all the people which were at Jerusalem, to
proclaim liberty unto them;
After King
Zedekiah had made a
covenant with all the people in Jerusalem to
proclaim liberty, the word came to Jeremiah from the LORD
Now when all the princes, and all the people, which had entered into the
covenant, heard that every one should let his
manservant, and every one his
maidservant, go free, that none should serve themselves of them any more, then they obeyed, and let them go.
So all the officials and all the people who entered into this
covenant agreed that they would free their menservants and maidservants and no longer hold them in
bondage. They obeyed and released them,
Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; I made a
covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of
bondmen, saying,
“This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: I made a covenant with your forefathers when I brought them out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery, saying:
And ye were now turned, and had done right in my sight, in
proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbour; and ye had made a
covenant before me in the house which is called by my name:
Recently you
repented and did what pleased Me; each of you proclaimed freedom for his
neighbor. You made a
covenant before Me in the house that bears My Name.
And I will give the men that have
transgressed my
covenant, which have not performed the words of the
covenant which they had made before me, when they cut the
calf in
twain, and passed between the parts thereof,
And those who have
transgressed My
covenant and have not fulfilled the terms of the
covenant they made before Me, I will treat like the
calf they cut in two in order to pass between its pieces.
They shall ask the way to
Zion with their faces
thitherward, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to the LORD in a perpetual
covenant that shall not be forgotten.
They will ask the way to
Zion and turn their faces toward it. They will come and join themselves to the LORD in an
everlasting covenant that will never be forgotten.
Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my
skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness:
yea, I
sware unto thee, and entered into a
covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine.
Then I passed by and saw you, and you were indeed old enough for love. So I spread My
cloak over you and covered your nakedness. I
pledged Myself to you, entered into a
covenant with you, and you became Mine, declares the Lord GOD.
For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even deal with thee as thou hast done, which hast
despised the oath in breaking the
covenant.
For this is what the Lord GOD says: I will deal with you according to your deeds, since you have
despised the oath by breaking the
covenant.
Nevertheless I will remember my
covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an
everlasting covenant.
But I will remember the
covenant I made with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an
everlasting covenant with you.
Then thou shalt remember thy ways, and be
ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder and thy younger: and I will give them unto thee for daughters, but not by thy
covenant.
Then you will remember your ways and be
ashamed when you receive your older and younger sisters. I will give them to you as daughters, but not because of My
covenant with you.
And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD:
So I will establish My covenant with you, and you will know that I am the LORD,
And hath taken of the king’s seed, and made a covenant with him, and hath taken an oath of him: he hath also taken the mighty of the land:
He took a member of the royal family and made a covenant with him, putting him under oath. Then he carried away the leading men of the land,
That the kingdom might be base, that it might not lift itself up, but that by keeping of his covenant it might stand.
so that the kingdom would be brought low, unable to lift itself up,
surviving only by keeping his
covenant.
But he rebelled against him in sending his ambassadors into Egypt, that they might give him horses and much people. Shall he
prosper? shall he escape that doeth such things? or shall he break the
covenant, and be delivered?
But this king rebelled against Babylon by sending his envoys to Egypt to ask for horses and a large army. Will he
flourish? Will the one who does such things escape? Can he break a
covenant and yet escape?’
As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely in the place where the king dwelleth that made him king, whose oath he
despised, and whose
covenant he
brake, even with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die.
‘As surely as I live,’ declares the Lord GOD, ‘he will die in Babylon, in the land of the king who enthroned him, whose oath he
despised and whose
covenant he broke.
Seeing he
despised the oath by breaking the
covenant, when, lo, he had given his hand, and hath done all these things, he shall not escape.
He
despised the oath by breaking the
covenant. Seeing that he gave his hand in
pledge yet did all these things, he will not escape!’
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; As I live, surely mine oath that he hath
despised, and my
covenant that he hath broken, even it will I
recompense upon his own head.
Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘As surely as I live, I will bring down upon his head My oath that he
despised and My
covenant that he broke.
And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant:
I will make you pass under the rod and will bring you into the bond of the covenant.
Ethiopia, and
Libya, and
Lydia, and all the mingled people, and
Chub, and the men of the land that is in league, shall fall with them by the sword.
Cush, Put, and Lud, and all the various peoples, as well as
Libya and the men of the
covenant land, will fall with Egypt by the sword.
And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.
I will make with them a covenant of peace and rid the land of wild animals, so that they may dwell securely in the wilderness and sleep in the forest.
Moreover I will make a
covenant of peace with them; it shall be an
everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for
evermore.
And I will make a
covenant of peace with them; it will be an
everlasting covenant. I will establish them and multiply them, and I will set My sanctuary among them
forever.
In that ye have brought into my sanctuary strangers,
uncircumcised in heart, and
uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, to
pollute it, even my house, when ye offer my bread, the fat and the blood, and they have broken my
covenant because of all your abominations.
In addition to all your other abominations, you brought in foreigners
uncircumcised in both heart and flesh to occupy My sanctuary; you
defiled My temple when you offered My food—the fat and the blood; you broke My
covenant.
And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and
dreadful God, keeping the
covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;
And I prayed to the LORD my God and
confessed, “O, Lord, the great and
awesome God, who keeps His
covenant of loving devotion to those who love Him and keep His commandments,
And he shall
confirm the
covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the
oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it
desolate, even until the
consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the
desolate.
And he will
confirm a
covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of the temple will come the
abomination that causes
desolation, until the decreed destruction is poured out upon him.”
And with the arms of a flood shall they be
overflown from before him, and shall be broken;
yea, also the prince of the
covenant.
Then a flood of forces will be swept away before him and destroyed, along with a prince of the covenant.
Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.
The king of the North will return to his land with great wealth, but his heart will be set against the holy covenant; so he will do damage and return to his own land.
For the ships of
Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be
grieved, and return, and have
indignation against the holy
covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that
forsake the holy
covenant.
Ships of Kittim will come against him, and he will lose heart. Then he will turn back and
rage against the holy
covenant and do damage. So he will return and show favor to those who
forsake the holy
covenant.
And such as do wickedly against the
covenant shall he corrupt by
flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
With
flattery he will corrupt those who
violate the
covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist him.
And in that day will I make a
covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven, and with the
creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely.
On that day I will make a
covenant for them with the beasts of the field and the birds of the air and the creatures that
crawl on the ground. And I will
abolish bow and sword and weapons of war in the land, and will make them lie down in safety.
But they, like Adam, have
transgressed the
covenant; there they were unfaithful to Me.
Set the
trumpet to thy mouth. He shall come as an eagle against the house of the LORD, because they have
transgressed my
covenant, and
trespassed against my law.
Put the ram’s horn to your lips! An eagle looms over the house of the LORD, because the people have
transgressed My
covenant and rebelled against My law.
They have spoken words,
swearing falsely in making a
covenant: thus judgment springeth up as
hemlock in the furrows of the field.
They speak mere words; with false oaths they make covenants. So judgment springs up like poisonous weeds in the furrows of a field.
Ephraim feedeth on wind, and followeth after the east wind: he daily increaseth lies and
desolation; and they do make a
covenant with the Assyrians, and oil is carried into Egypt.
Ephraim chases the wind and pursues the east wind all day long; he multiplies lies and violence; he makes a covenant with Assyria and sends olive oil to Egypt.
Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Tyrus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they delivered up the whole captivity to
Edom, and remembered not the brotherly
covenant:
This is what the LORD says: “For three transgressions of Tyre, even four, I will not
revoke My judgment, because they delivered up a whole congregation of exiles to
Edom and broke a
covenant of
brotherhood.
According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.
This is the promise I made to you when you came out of Egypt. And My Spirit remains among you; do not be afraid.”
As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.
As for you, because of the blood of My covenant, I will release your prisoners from the waterless pit.
And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it
asunder, that I might break my
covenant which I had made with all the people.
Next I took my staff called Favor and cut it in two,
revoking the
covenant I had made with all the nations.
And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.
Then you will know that I have sent you this commandment so that My covenant with Levi may continue,” says the LORD of Hosts.
My
covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear
wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name.
“My
covenant with him was one of life and peace, which I gave to him; it called for reverence, and he
revered Me and stood in
awe of My name.
But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to
stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the
covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.
But you have departed from the way, and your instruction has caused many to
stumble. You have
violated the
covenant of Levi,” says the LORD of Hosts.
Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal
treacherously every man against his brother, by
profaning the
covenant of our fathers?
Do we not all have one Father? Did not one God
create us? Why then do we break faith with one another so as to
profane the
covenant of our fathers?
Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt
treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy
covenant.
Yet you ask, “Why?” It is because the LORD has been a witness between you and the wife of your youth, against whom you have broken faith, though she is your companion and your wife by covenant.
Behold, I will send my
messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the
messenger of the
covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
“Behold, I will send My
messenger, who will prepare the way before Me. Then the Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to His temple—the
Messenger of the
covenant, in whom you delight—see, He is coming,” says the LORD of Hosts.
And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.
and asked, “What are you willing to give me if I hand Him over to you?” And they set out for him thirty pieces of silver.
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
This is My blood of the
covenant, which is poured out for many for the
forgiveness of sins.
And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.
He said to them, “This is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many.
To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;
to show mercy to our fathers and to remember His holy covenant,
And they were
glad, and
covenanted to give him money.
They were delighted and agreed to give him money.
Likewise also the cup after
supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
In the same way, after
supper He took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new
covenant in My blood, which is poured out for you.
Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.
And you are sons of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers when He said to Abraham, ‘Through your offspring all the families of the earth will be blessed.’
Then God gave Abraham the
covenant of
circumcision, and Abraham became the father of Isaac and
circumcised him on the eighth day. And Isaac became the father of Jacob, and Jacob of the twelve patriarchs.
Without understanding,
covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable,
unmerciful:
They are senseless, faithless, heartless,
merciless.
Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;
the people of Israel. Theirs is the adoption as sons; theirs the divine glory and the covenants; theirs the giving of the law, the temple worship, and the promises.
For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
And this is My covenant with them when I take away their sins.”
After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had
supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as
oft as ye drink it, in
remembrance of me.
In the same way, after
supper He took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new
covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in
remembrance of Me.”
Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
And He has qualified us as ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same
vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which
vail is done away in Christ.
But their minds were closed. For to this day the same
veil remains at the reading of the old
covenant. It has not been lifted, because only in Christ can it be removed.
Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man’s
covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth
thereto.
Brothers, let me put this in human terms. Even a human
covenant, once it is
ratified, cannot be
canceled or
amended.
And this I say, that the
covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot
disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
What I mean is this: The law that came 430 years later does not
revoke the
covenant previously established by God, so as to
nullify the promise.
Which things are an
allegory: for these are the two
covenants; the one from the mount
Sinai, which gendereth to
bondage, which is
Agar.
These things serve as illustrations, for the women represent two
covenants. One
covenant is from Mount
Sinai and bears children into slavery: This is
Hagar.
That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the
commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the
covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
remember that at that time you were separate from Christ,
alienated from the
commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the
covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world.
By so much was Jesus made a
surety of a better testament.
Because of this oath, Jesus has become the
guarantee of a better
covenant.
But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the
mediator of a better
covenant, which was established upon better promises.
Now, however, Jesus has received a much more excellent ministry, just as the covenant He mediates is better and is founded on better promises.
For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
For if that first covenant had been without fault, no place would have been sought for a second.
For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
But God found fault with the people and said: “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.
Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
It will not be like the
covenant I made with their fathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, because they did not
abide by My
covenant, and I disregarded them, declares the Lord.
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
For this is the
covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds and
inscribe them on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they will be My people.
In that he saith, A new
covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to
vanish away.
By speaking of a new
covenant, He has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and
aging will soon disappear.
Then
verily the first
covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.
Now the first covenant had regulations for worship and also an earthly sanctuary.
Which had the golden
censer, and the ark of the
covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had
manna, and Aaron’s rod that
budded, and the tables of the
covenant;
containing the golden altar of incense and the gold-covered ark of the
covenant. Inside the ark were the gold
jar of
manna, Aaron’s staff that had
budded, and the stone tablets of the
covenant.
And for this cause he is the
mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the
redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
Therefore Christ is the
mediator of a new
covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, now that He has died to
redeem them from the transgressions committed under the first
covenant.
Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.
That is why even the first covenant was not put into effect without blood.
Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath
enjoined unto you.
saying, “This is the blood of the covenant, which God has commanded you to keep.”
This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
“This is the
covenant I will make with them after those days, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their hearts and
inscribe them on their minds.”
Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath
trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the
covenant,
wherewith he was
sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done
despite unto the Spirit of grace?
How much more severely do you think one deserves to be punished who has
trampled on the Son of God,
profaned the blood of the
covenant that
sanctified him, and
insulted the Spirit of grace?
And to Jesus the
mediator of the new
covenant, and to the blood of
sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of
Abel.
to Jesus the
mediator of a new
covenant, and to the
sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of
Abel.
Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great
shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the
everlasting covenant,
Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal
covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great
Shepherd of the sheep,
And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an
earthquake, and great
hail.
Then the temple of God in heaven was opened, and the ark of His
covenant appeared in His temple. And there were
flashes of
lightning, and rumblings, and peals of
thunder, and an
earthquake, and a great
hailstorm.
