Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a
vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who
feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock?
Who serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a
vineyard and does not eat of its fruit? Who tends a flock and does not drink of its milk?
And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
The eye cannot say to the hand, “I do not need you.” Nor can the head say to the feet, “I do not need you.”
Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more
feeble, are necessary:
On the contrary, the parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable,
And though I
bestow all my goods to
feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
If I give all I possess to the poor and
exult in the surrender of my body, but have not love, I gain nothing.
For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet.
For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith, all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
For “God has put everything under His feet.” Now when it says that everything has been put under Him, this clearly does not include the One who put everything under Him.
And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
And God put everything under His feet and made Him head over everything for the church,

And your
feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
and with your
feet fitted with the
readiness of the gospel of peace.
Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and
confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
It is right for me to
feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart. For in my chains and in my
defense and
confirmation of the gospel, you are all partners in grace with me.
Now we
exhort you, brethren,
warn them that are
unruly, comfort the
feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.

feet, if she have relieved the
afflicted, if she have
diligently followed every good work.

entertaining strangers, washing the
feet of the saints, imparting relief to the
afflicted, and

But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy
footstool?
Yet to which of the angels did God ever say: “Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies a
footstool for Your
feet”?

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the
feeling of our
infirmities; but was in all points
tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to
sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who was
tempted in every way that we are, yet was without sin.
From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his
footstool.
Since that time, He waits for His enemies to be made a
footstool for His
feet,

hang down, and the
feeble knees;
And make straight paths for your
feet, lest that which is
lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be
healed.
Make straight paths for your
feet, so that the
lame may not be disabled, but rather
healed.
And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my
footstool:
If you
lavish attention on the man in fine clothes and say, “Here is a seat of honor,” but say to the poor man, “You must stand” or “Sit at my
feet,”
Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by
constraint, but willingly; not for
filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
Be
shepherds of God’s flock that is among you, watching over them not out of
compulsion, but because it is God’s will; not out of
greed, but out of eagerness;
These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you,
feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead,
plucked up by the roots;
These men are hidden reefs in your love feasts,
shamelessly feasting with you but
shepherding only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried along by the wind; fruitless trees in autumn, twice dead after being uprooted.

feet were like polished bronze refined in a furnace, and His voice was like the
roar of many waters.

When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. But He placed His right hand on me and said, “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last,
And unto the angel of the church in
Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his
feet are like fine brass;
To the angel of the church in
Thyatira write: These are the words of the Son of God, whose eyes are like a
blazing fire and whose
feet are like polished bronze.
Behold, I will make them of the
synagogue of
Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy
feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
Look at those who belong to the
synagogue of
Satan, who claim to be Jews but are liars instead. I will make them come and bow down at your
feet, and they will know that I love you.
For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall
feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall
wipe away all tears from their eyes.
For the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their
shepherd. ‘He will lead them to springs of living water,’ and ‘God will
wipe away every
tear from their eyes.’”

rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his
feet as pillars of fire:

And the beast which I saw was like unto a
leopard, and his
feet were as the
feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the
dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
The beast I saw was like a
leopard, with the
feet of a bear and the mouth of a lion. And the
dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority.
And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
So I fell at his
feet to worship him. But he told me, “Do not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers who
rely on the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.

So he answered and said unto me, Stand up upon thy feet, and hear a mighty sounding voice.
And it happened, that when I had heard it I stood up upon my
feet, and
hearkened, and, behold, there was a voice that spake, and the sound of it was like the sound of many waters.
And, lo, I lay as one that had been dead, and mine understanding was taken from me: and he took me by the right hand, and comforted me, and set me upon my feet, and said unto me,
And
whensoever the voice went out of his mouth, all they burned that heard his voice, like as the earth faileth when it
feeleth the fire.
And I said, Here am I, Lord And I stood up upon my feet.
For, behold, the burning wrath of a great multitude is
kindled over you, and they shall take away certain of you, and
feed you, being idle, with things offered unto idols.

feet of mine army, and I will give them for a

sandals upon her
feet, and put about her her bracelets, and her chains, and her rings, and her earrings, and all her ornaments, and decked herself
bravely, to
allure the eyes of all men that should see her.

feet, and reverenced her, and said, Blessed art thou in all the tabernacles of Juda, and in all nations, which hearing thy name shall be

Almighty will take
vengeance of them in the day of judgment, in putting fire and worms in their flesh; and they shall
feel them, and
weep for ever.

kiss the soles of his
feet.

For I thy servant and son of thine
handmaid am a
feeble person, and of a short time, and too young for the understanding of judgment and laws.
For when they heard by their own punishments the other to be benefited, they had some feeling of the Lord.
But they that would not be reformed by that correction, wherein he
dallied with them, shall
feel a judgment worthy of God.
Therefore even upon the idols of the Gentiles shall there be a
visitation: because in the creature of God they are become an
abomination, and stumblingblocks to the souls of men, and a
snare to the
feet of the unwise.
For they counted all the idols of the heathen to be gods: which neither have the use of eyes to see, nor noses to draw breath, nor ears to hear, nor fingers of hands to handle; and as for their feet, they are slow to go.
And put thy
feet into her
fetters, and thy neck into her chain.
With the bread of understanding shall she feed him, and give him the water of wisdom to drink.

feet; he applieth himself to lead it over; and he is
diligent to make clean the furnace:
But the soul that is greatly
vexed, which goeth
stooping and
feeble, and the eyes that fail, and the
hungry soul, will give thee praise and righteousness, O Lord.
For like as a vessel that a man useth is nothing worth when it is broken; even so it is with their gods: when they be set up in the temple, their eyes be full of dust through the feet of them that come in.
They are as one of the beams of the temple, yet they say their hearts are
gnawed upon by things
creeping out of the earth; and when they eat them and their clothes, they
feel it not.
Notwithstanding the gold that is about them to make them beautiful, except they
wipe off the
rust, they will not
