And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
So Moses was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights without eating bread or drinking water. He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant—the Ten Commandments.
Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD:
whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.
For six days work may be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a Sabbath of complete rest to the LORD.
Whoever does any work on that day must be put to death.

And they came, every one whose heart
stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the LORD’S offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and
for all his service, and
for the holy garments.
And
everyone whose heart
stirred him and whose spirit
prompted him came and brought an offering to the LORD
for the work on the Tent of Meeting,
for all its services, and
for the holy garments.
Every one that did offer an offering of silver and brass brought the LORD’S offering: and every man, with whom was found
shittim wood
for any work of the service, brought it.
And all who could present an offering of silver or bronze brought it as a contribution to the LORD. Also,
everyone who had
acacia wood
for any part of the service brought it.

The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.
So all the men and women of the Israelites whose hearts
prompted them brought a
freewill offering to the LORD
for all the work that the LORD through Moses had commanded them to do.
And in the cutting of stones, to set them, and in
carving of wood, to make any manner of
cunning work.

Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the LORD put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the LORD had commanded.
“So Bezalel, Oholiab, and every skilled person are to carry out everything commanded by the LORD, who has given them skill and ability to know how to perform all the work of constructing the sanctuary.”
And they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had brought
for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it
withal. And they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning.
They received from Moses all the contributions that the Israelites had brought to carry out the service of constructing the sanctuary. Meanwhile, the people continued to bring
freewill offerings morning after morning,
And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the LORD commanded to make.
and said to Moses, “The people are bringing more than enough for doing the work the LORD has commanded us to do.”
And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing.
After Moses had given an order, they sent a
proclamation throughout the camp: “No man or woman should make anything else as an offering
for the sanctuary.” So the people were restrained from bringing more,
For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.
since what they already had was more than enough to perform all the work.
And every wise hearted man among them that wrought the work of the tabernacle made ten curtains of fine
twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of
cunning work made he them.
All the skilled
craftsmen among the workmen made the ten curtains
for the tabernacle. They were made of finely
spun linen, as well as blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, with
cherubim skillfully worked into them.
And he made curtains of goats’ hair for the tent over the tabernacle: eleven curtains he made them.
He then made curtains of goat hair for the tent over the tabernacle—eleven curtains in all.
And he made a covering
for the tent of rams’ skins
dyed red, and a covering of badgers’ skins above that.
Additionally, he made
for the tent a covering of ram skins
dyed red, and over that a covering of fine leather.
And he made boards
for the tabernacle of
shittim wood, standing up.
Next, he constructed upright frames of
acacia wood
for the tabernacle.
One board had two tenons, equally distant one from another: thus did he make for all the boards of the tabernacle.
Two tenons were connected to each other for each frame. He made all the frames of the tabernacle in this way.
And he made boards for the tabernacle; twenty boards for the south side southward:
He constructed twenty frames for the south side of the tabernacle,
And forty sockets of silver he made under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for his two tenons, and two sockets under another board for his two tenons.
with
forty silver bases to put under the twenty frames—two bases
for each frame, one under each
tenon.
And for the other side of the tabernacle, which is toward the north corner, he made twenty boards,
For the second side of the tabernacle, the north side, he made twenty frames
And their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.
and forty silver bases—two bases under each frame.
And for the sides of the tabernacle westward he made six boards.
He made six frames for the rear of the tabernacle, the west side,
And two boards made he for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides.
and two frames for the two back corners of the tabernacle,
And he made bars of
shittim wood; five
for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,
He also made five crossbars of
acacia wood
for the frames on one side of the tabernacle,
And five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the tabernacle for the sides westward.
five for those on the other side, and five for those on the rear side of the tabernacle, to the west.
And he overlaid the boards with gold, and made their rings of gold to be places for the bars, and overlaid the bars with gold.
And he overlaid the frames with gold and made gold rings to hold the crossbars. He also overlaid the crossbars with gold.
And he made
thereunto four pillars of
shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold: their hooks were of gold; and he cast
for them four sockets of silver.
He also made four posts of
acacia wood
for it and overlaid them with gold, along with gold hooks; and he cast four silver bases
for the posts.
And he made an hanging
for the tabernacle door of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine
twined linen, of
needlework;
For the entrance to the tent, he made a
curtain embroidered with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and finely
spun linen,
And he cast for it four rings of gold, to be set by the four corners of it; even two rings upon the one side of it, and two rings upon the other side of it.
And he cast four gold rings for its four feet, two rings on one side and two on the other.
Also he made
thereunto a border of an
handbreadth round about; and made a crown of gold
for the border thereof round about.
And he cast for it four rings of gold, and put the rings upon the four corners that were in the four feet thereof.
He cast four gold rings for the table and fastened them to the four corners at its four legs.
Over against the border were the rings, the places
for the
staves to bear the table.
The rings were placed close to the
rim, to serve as holders
for the poles used to carry the table.
And he made the
staves of
shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold, to bear the table.
He made the poles of
acacia wood
for carrying the table and overlaid them with gold.
And he made the vessels which were upon the table, his dishes, and his spoons, and his
bowls, and his covers to cover
withal, of pure gold.
He also made the utensils
for the table out of pure gold: its plates and dishes, as well as its
bowls and pitchers
for pouring drink offerings.
Three
bowls made after the fashion of almonds in one branch, a
knop and a flower; and three
bowls made like almonds in another branch, a
knop and a flower: so throughout the six branches going out of the
candlestick.
There were three cups shaped like
almond blossoms on the first branch, each with buds and petals, three on the next branch, and the same
for all six branches that extended from the lampstand.
And he made two rings of gold
for it under the crown thereof, by the two corners of it, upon the two sides thereof, to be places
for the
staves to bear it
withal.
He made two gold rings below the
molding on opposite sides to hold the poles used to carry it.
And he made all the vessels of the altar, the pots, and the shovels, and the basons, and the fleshhooks, and the firepans: all the vessels thereof made he of brass.
He made all the altar’s utensils of bronze—its pots, shovels,
sprinkling bowls, meat
forks, and firepans.
And he made
for the altar a
brasen grate of network under the compass thereof beneath unto the midst of it.
And he cast four rings
for the four ends of the
grate of brass, to be places
for the
staves.
At the four corners of the bronze
grate he cast four rings as holders
for the poles.
And he put the
staves into the rings on the sides of the altar, to bear it
withal; he made the altar hollow with boards.
Then he inserted the poles into the rings on the sides of the altar for carrying it. He made the altar with boards so that it was hollow.
And for the north side the hangings were an hundred cubits, their pillars were twenty, and their sockets of brass twenty; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver.
The north side was also a hundred cubits long, with twenty posts and twenty bronze bases. The hooks and bands of the posts were silver.
And for the west side were hangings of fifty cubits, their pillars ten, and their sockets ten; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver.
The west side was fifty cubits long and had curtains, with ten posts and ten bases. The hooks and bands of the posts were silver.
And for the east side eastward fifty cubits.
And the east side, toward the
sunrise, was also fifty cubits long.
And for the other side of the court gate, on this hand and that hand, were hangings of fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three.
And the curtains on the other side were also fifteen cubits long, with three posts and three bases as well.
And the sockets
for the pillars were of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver; and the overlaying of their chapiters of silver; and all the pillars of the court were
filleted with silver.
The bases
for the posts were bronze, the hooks and bands were silver, and the plating
for the tops of the posts was silver. So all the posts of the
courtyard were banded with silver.
And the hanging
for the gate of the court was
needlework, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine
twined linen: and twenty cubits was the length, and the height in the breadth was five cubits, answerable to the hangings of the court.
The
curtain for the entrance to the
courtyard was
embroidered with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and finely
spun linen. It was twenty cubits long and, like the curtains of the
courtyard, five cubits high,
And all the pins of the tabernacle, and of the court round about, were of brass.
All the tent pegs
for the tabernacle and
for the surrounding
courtyard were bronze.
This is the sum of the tabernacle, even of the tabernacle of testimony, as it was counted, according to the commandment of Moses,
for the service of the Levites, by the hand of
Ithamar, son to Aaron the priest.
This is the
inventory for the tabernacle, the tabernacle of the Testimony, as recorded at Moses’ command by the Levites under the direction of
Ithamar son of Aaron the priest.
All the gold that was occupied
for the work in all the work of the holy place, even the gold of the offering, was twenty and nine talents, and seven hundred and thirty shekels, after the
shekel of the sanctuary.
All the gold from the wave offering used
for the work on the sanctuary totaled 29 talents and 730 shekels, according to the sanctuary
shekel.
A
bekah for every man, that is, half a
shekel, after the
shekel of the sanctuary,
for every one that went to be numbered, from twenty years old and upward,
for six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty men.
a beka per person, that is, half a
shekel, according to the sanctuary
shekel, from
everyone twenty years of age or older who had crossed over to be numbered, a total of 603,550 men.
And of the hundred talents of silver were cast the sockets of the sanctuary, and the sockets of the
vail; an hundred sockets of the hundred talents, a talent
for a
socket.
The hundred talents of silver were used to cast the bases of the sanctuary and the bases of the
veil—100 bases from the 100 talents, one talent per base.
And of the thousand seven hundred seventy and five shekels he made hooks
for the pillars, and overlaid their chapiters, and
filleted them.
With the 1,775 shekels of silver he made the hooks for the posts, overlaid their tops, and supplied bands for them.
And
therewith he made the sockets to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the
brasen altar, and the
brasen grate for it, and all the vessels of the altar,
He used it to make the bases
for the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, the bronze altar and its bronze
grating, all the utensils
for the altar,
And the sockets of the court round about, and the sockets of the court gate, and all the pins of the tabernacle, and all the pins of the court round about.
the bases
for the surrounding
courtyard and its gate, and all the tent pegs
for the tabernacle and its surrounding
courtyard.
And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as the LORD commanded Moses.
From the blue, purple, and scarlet yarn they made specially
woven garments
for ministry in the sanctuary, as well as the holy garments
for Aaron, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
They made shoulderpieces for it, to couple it together: by the two edges was it coupled together.
They made shoulder pieces
for the
ephod, which were attached at two of its corners, so it could be fastened.
And he put them on the shoulders of the
ephod, that they should be stones
for a
memorial to the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses.
Then they fastened them on the shoulder pieces of the
ephod as
memorial stones
for the sons of Israel, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
For the breastpiece they made
braided chains like cords of pure gold.
And they made two other golden rings, and put them on the two sides of the
ephod underneath, toward the
forepart of it, over against the other coupling thereof, above the curious
girdle of the
ephod.
They made two additional gold rings and attached them to the bottom of the two shoulder pieces of the
ephod, on its front, near the
seam just above its
woven waistband.
alternating the bells and pomegranates around the lower
hem of the
robe to be worn
for ministry, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
And they made coats of fine linen of
woven work
for Aaron, and
for his sons,
For Aaron and his sons they made tunics of fine linen, the work of a
weaver,
Thus was all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation finished: and the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.
So all the work for the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, was completed. The Israelites did everything just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
The pure
candlestick, with the lamps thereof, even with the lamps to be set in order, and all the vessels thereof, and the oil
for light,
the pure gold lampstand with its row of lamps and all its utensils, as well as the oil for the light;
And the golden altar, and the
anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging
for the tabernacle door,
The hangings of the court, his pillars, and his sockets, and the hanging for the court gate, his cords, and his pins, and all the vessels of the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of the congregation,
the curtains of the
courtyard with its posts and bases; the
curtain for the gate of the
courtyard, its ropes and tent pegs, and all the
equipment for the service of the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting;
The cloths of service to do service in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and his sons’ garments, to minister in the priest’s office.
and the
woven garments
for ministering in the sanctuary, both the holy garments
for Aaron the priest and the garments
for his sons to serve as priests.
And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle.
Place the gold altar of incense in front of the ark of the Testimony, and
hang the
curtain at the entrance to the tabernacle.
And thou shalt set up the court round about, and
hang up the hanging at the court gate.
And thou shalt bring his sons, and
clothe them with coats:
Bring his sons
forward and
clothe them with tunics.
And thou shalt
anoint them, as thou
didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office:
for their
anointing shall surely be an
everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.
Anoint them just as you
anointed their father, so that they may also serve Me as priests. Their
anointing will
qualify them
for a permanent priesthood throughout their generations.”
And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the
vail of the covering, and covered the ark of the testimony; as the LORD commanded Moses.
Then he brought the ark into the tabernacle, put up the
veil for the screen, and shielded off the ark of the Testimony, just as the LORD had commanded him.
And he set the
laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash
withal.
He placed the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar and put water in it for washing;
And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work.
And Moses set up the
courtyard around the tabernacle and the altar, and he hung the
curtain for the entrance to the
courtyard. So Moses finished the work.
For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
For the cloud of the LORD was over the tabernacle by day, and fire was in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel through all their journeys.
If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the
herd, let him offer a male without
blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD.
If one’s offering is a burnt offering from the
herd, he is to present an
unblemished male. He must bring it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting
for its acceptance before the LORD.
And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall be accepted
for him to make
atonement for him.
He is to lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, so it can be accepted on his behalf to make
atonement for him.
And if his offering be of the flocks, namely, of the sheep, or of the goats,
for a burnt sacrifice; he shall bring it a male without
blemish.
If, however, one’s offering is a burnt offering from the flock—from the sheep or goats—he is to present an
unblemished male.
And if the burnt sacrifice for his offering to the LORD be of fowls, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons.
If, instead, one’s offering to the LORD is a burnt offering of birds, he is to present a
turtledove or a young
pigeon.
And he shall
pluck away his crop with his feathers, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, by the place of the ashes:
And he is to remove the crop with its contents and throw it to the east side of the altar, in the place for ashes.
No meat offering, which ye shall bring unto the LORD, shall be made with
leaven:
for ye shall burn no
leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of the LORD made by fire.
No grain offering that you present to the LORD may be made with
leaven,
for you are not to burn any
leaven or honey as an offering made by fire to the LORD.
As
for the
oblation of the firstfruits, ye shall offer them unto the LORD: but they shall not be burnt on the altar
for a sweet savour.
You may bring them to the LORD as an offering of firstfruits, but they are not to be offered on the altar as a pleasing
aroma.
And if thou offer a meat offering of thy firstfruits unto the LORD, thou shalt offer for the meat offering of thy firstfruits green ears of corn dried by the fire, even corn beaten out of full ears.
If you bring a grain offering of firstfruits to the LORD, you shall offer
crushed heads of new grain
roasted on the fire.
And if his offering
for a sacrifice of peace offering unto the LORD be of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without
blemish.
If, however, one’s peace offering to the LORD is from the flock, he must present a male or female without
blemish.
If he offer a lamb for his offering, then shall he offer it before the LORD.
If he is presenting a lamb for his offering, he must present it before the LORD.
And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet savour: all the fat is the LORD’S.
Then the priest is to burn the food on the altar as an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma. All the fat is the LORD’s.
It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.
This is a permanent statute for the generations to come, wherever you live: You must not eat any fat or any blood.”
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:
“Tell the Israelites to do as follows with one who sins
unintentionally against any of the LORD’s commandments and does what is
forbidden by them:
If the priest that is
anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring
for his sin, which he hath
sinned, a young
bullock without
blemish unto the LORD
for a sin offering.
If the
anointed priest sins, bringing guilt on the people, he must bring to the LORD a young bull without
blemish as a sin offering
for the sin he has committed.
And he shall take off from it all the fat of the
bullock for the sin offering; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
Then he shall remove all the fat from the bull of the sin offering—the fat that covers the
entrails, all the fat that is on them,
Even the whole
bullock shall he carry
forth without the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn him on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall he be burnt.
all the rest of the bull—he must take outside the camp to a
ceremonially clean place where the ashes are poured out, and there he must burn it on a wood fire on the ash
heap.
And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be
hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty;
Now if the whole congregation of Israel strays
unintentionally and the matter escapes the notice of the assembly so that they
violate any of the LORD’s commandments and
incur guilt by doing what is
forbidden,
When the sin, which they have
sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young
bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation.
when they become aware of the sin they have committed, then the assembly must bring a young bull as a sin offering and present it before the Tent of Meeting.
