Insomuch that they brought
forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

damsel possessed with a spirit of

Then certain philosophers of the
Epicureans, and of the Stoicks,
encountered him. And some said, What will this
babbler say? other some, He seemeth to be a
setter forth of strange gods: because he preached unto them Jesus, and the resurrection.
Some
Epicurean and
Stoic philosophers also began to
debate with him. Some of them asked, “What is this
babbler trying to say?” Others said, “He seems to be advocating foreign gods.” They said this because Paul was
proclaiming the good news of Jesus and the resurrection.

Of whom I have no certain thing to write unto my lord. Wherefore I have brought him
forth before you, and specially before thee, O king
Agrippa, that, after examination had, I might have somewhat to write.
I have nothing definite to write to our sovereign one about him. Therefore I have brought him before all of you, and especially before you, King
Agrippa, so that after this inquiry I may have something to write.
Then
Agrippa said unto Paul, Thou art permitted to speak for
thyself. Then Paul stretched
forth the hand, and answered for himself:
Agrippa said to Paul, “You have permission to speak for
yourself.” Then Paul stretched out his hand and began his
defense:
I think myself happy, king
Agrippa, because I shall answer for myself this day before thee touching all the things
whereof I am accused of the Jews:
“King
Agrippa, I consider myself
fortunate to stand before you
today to defend myself against all the accusations of the Jews,
But he said, I am not
mad, most noble

But after long
abstinence Paul stood
forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have
hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from
Crete, and to have gained this

Whom God hath set
forth to be a
propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the
forbearance of God;
Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
Therefore, my brothers, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit to God.
For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
For when we lived according to the flesh, the sinful passions
aroused by the law were at work in our bodies, bearing fruit for death.
But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched
forth my hands unto a
disobedient and

obstinate people.”
For I think that God hath set
forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a
spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.
For it seems to me that God has displayed us apostles at the end of the
procession, like prisoners appointed for death. We have become a
spectacle to the whole world, to angels as well as to men.
Let no man therefore
despise him: but conduct him
forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brethren.
No one, then, should treat him with contempt. Send him on his way in peace so that he can return to me, for I am expecting him along with the brothers.
I am
glad of the coming of Stephanas and
Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied.

But when the
fulness of the time was come, God sent
forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
But when the time had fully come, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
And because ye are sons, God hath sent
forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying,
Abba, Father.
And because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying out, “
Abba, Father!”
For it is written,
Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break
forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the
desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
For it is written: “
Rejoice, O barren woman, who bears no children; break
forth and cry
aloud, you who have never
travailed; because more are the children of the
desolate woman than of her who has a husband.”
Holding
forth the word of life; that I may
rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
as you hold
forth the word of life, in order that I may
boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain.
Brethren, I count not myself to have
apprehended: but this one thing I do,
forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching
forth unto those things which are before,
Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do:
Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is
ahead,
Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth
forth fruit, as it
doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:
that has come to you. All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood the grace of God.
But for this very reason I was shown mercy, so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display His perfect

forty years.
where your fathers tested and tried Me, and for forty years saw My works.

grieved forty years? was it not with them that had
sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
And with whom was God
angry for
forty years? Was it not with those who
sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh
oft upon it, and bringeth
forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:
For land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is tended receives the blessing of God.
Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
Therefore let us go to Him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace He bore.

lust hath conceived, it bringeth
forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth
forth death.

forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?
Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring?

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should
shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

proclaim the virtues of Him who called you out of darkness into His
marvelous light.

Even as
Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to
fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set
forth for an example, suffering the
vengeance of eternal fire.
In like manner,
Sodom and
Gomorrah and the cities around them, who
indulged in sexual immorality and pursued strange flesh, are on display as an example of those who
sustain the punishment of eternal fire.
And I
beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent
forth into all the earth.
Then I saw a Lamb who appeared to have been slain, standing in the center of the throne,
encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which represent the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

rode out to overcome and
conquer.
And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat
thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
Then another horse went
forth. It was bright red, and its rider was granted permission to take away peace from the earth and to make men
slay one another. And he was given a great sword.

But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they
tread under foot
forty and two months.

trample the holy city for 42 months.

For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go
forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God
Almighty.
These are
demonic spirits that perform signs and go out to all the kings of the earth, to
assemble them for battle on the great day of God the
Almighty.

wroth with his people for their great
ungodliness, commanded the kings of the Chaldees to come up against them;

forth by
vow, for the temple of the Lord at Jerusalem.

Now when this young man was gone forth, he lifted up his face to heaven toward Jerusalem, and praised the King of heaven,
The sons of
Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and four: the sons of Zathul, nine hundred
forty and five: the sons of
Corbe, seven hundred and five: the sons of Bani, six hundred
forty and eight:
They of Netophah, fifty and five: they of Anathoth, an hundred fifty and eight: they of Bethsamos, forty and two:
They of Kiriathiarius, twenty and five: they of Caphira and Beroth, seven hundred forty and three: they of Pira, seven hundred:
The sons of Calamolalus and

forty and five:
The sons of Phassaron, a thousand forty and seven: the sons of Carme, a thousand and seventeen.
So of Israel, from them of twelve years old and upward, they were all in number forty thousand, beside menservants and womenservants two thousand three hundred and sixty.
Their menservants and handmaids were seven thousand three hundred forty and seven: the singing men and singing women, two hundred forty and five:
Four hundred thirty and five camels, seven thousand thirty and six horses, two hundred forty and five mules, five thousand five hundred twenty and five beasts used to the yoke.
And the holy vessels of gold and of silver, that Nabuchodonosor had carried away out of the house at Jerusalem, and had set them in his own temple those Cyrus the king brought forth again out of the temple at Babylon, and they were delivered to Zorobabel and to Sanabassarus the ruler,
Then rising up from the fast with my clothes and the holy garment rent, and bowing my knees, and stretching forth my hands unto the Lord,
And yet tookest thou not away from them a wicked heart, that thy law might bring forth fruit in them.
Then said I,
Yea, my lord. And he answered me, and said, I am sent to
shew thee three ways, and to set
forth three similitudes before thee:
For the grain of evil seed hath been sown in the heart of Adam from the beginning, and how much
ungodliness hath it brought up unto this time? and how much shall it yet bring
forth until the time of
threshing come?
Ponder now by
thyself, how great fruit of wickedness the grain of evil seed hath brought
forth.
There shall be a confusion also in many places, and the fire shall be
oft sent out again, and the wild beasts shall change their places, and
menstruous women shall bring
forth monsters:
