For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be
seven eyes: behold, I will
engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

seven eyes. Behold, I will
engrave on it an inscription, declares the LORD of Hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of this land in a single day.

“What do you see?” he asked. “I see a solid gold lampstand,” I replied, “with a
bowl at the top and
seven lamps on it, with
seven spouts to the lamps.
For who hath
despised the day of small things? for they shall
rejoice, and shall see the
plummet in the hand of
Zerubbabel with those
seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and

For who has
despised the day of small things? But these
seven eyes of the LORD, which
scan the whole earth, will
rejoice when they see the
plumb line in the hand of
Zerubbabel.”
Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and
mourned in the fifth and
seventh month, even those
seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?

mourned in the fifth and
seventh months for these
seventy years, was it really for Me that you fasted?

Saying, I am
Alpha and
Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the
seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto
Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto
Thyatira, and unto
Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto
Laodicea.
And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking with me. And having turned, I saw seven golden lampstands,
And in the midst of the
seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and
girt about the paps with a golden
girdle.
and among the lampstands was One like the Son of Man, dressed in a long
robe, with a golden
sash around His chest.
And he had in his right hand
seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp
twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
He held in His right hand
seven stars, and a sharp double-edged sword came from His mouth. His face was like the sun
shining at its brightest.
The
mystery of the
seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the
seven golden candlesticks. The
seven stars are the angels of the
seven churches: and the
seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the
seven churches.
This is the
mystery of the
seven stars you saw in My right hand and of the
seven golden lampstands: The
seven stars are the angels of the
seven churches, and the
seven lampstands are the
seven churches.
Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
“To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: These are the words of Him who holds the seven stars in His right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands.
And unto the angel of the church in

Sardis write: These are the words of the One who holds the
seven Spirits of God and the
seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation for being alive, yet you are dead.
And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
From the throne came
flashes of
lightning, and rumblings, and peals of
thunder. Before the throne burned
seven torches of fire. These are the
seven Spirits of God.
And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the
backside, sealed with
seven seals.
Then I saw a
scroll in the right hand of the One seated on the throne. It had writing on both sides and was sealed with
seven seals.
And one of the elders saith unto me,
Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the
seven seals thereof.
Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not
weep! Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed to open the
scroll and its
seven seals.”
And I
beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having
seven horns and
seven eyes, which are the
seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
Then I saw a Lamb who appeared to have been slain, standing in the center of the throne,
encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had
seven horns and
seven eyes, which represent the
seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of
thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
Then I watched as the Lamb opened one of the
seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say in a
thunderous voice, “Come!”
And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.
When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
And I saw the
seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given
seven trumpets.

seven angels who stand before God, and they were given
seven trumpets.

And the
seven angels with the
seven trumpets prepared to sound them.
And
cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had
cried,
seven thunders uttered their voices.
Then he
cried out in a loud voice like the
roar of a lion. And when he
cried out, the
seven thunders sounded their voices.
And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
When the seven thunders had spoken, I was about to put it in writing. But I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down.”
But in the days of the voice of the
seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the
mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
But in the days of the voice of the
seventh angel, when he is about to sound his
trumpet, the
mystery of God will be fulfilled, just as He proclaimed to His servants the prophets.”
And the same hour was there a great
earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the
earthquake were slain of men
seven thousand: and the
remnant were
affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

earthquake, and a tenth of the city
collapsed.
Seven thousand were killed in the
quake, and the rest were
terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.
And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
Then the
seventh angel sounded his
trumpet, and loud voices called out in heaven: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign
forever and ever.”
And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red
dragon, having
seven heads and ten horns, and
seven crowns upon his heads.
Then another sign appeared in heaven: a huge red
dragon with
seven heads, ten horns, and
seven royal crowns on his heads.
And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having
seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of
blasphemy.
Then I saw a beast with ten horns and
seven heads rising out of the sea. There were ten royal crowns on its horns and
blasphemous names on its heads.
And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.
Then I saw another great and
marvelous sign in heaven:
seven angels with the
seven final plagues, with which the wrath of God is completed.
And the
seven angels came out of the temple, having the
seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts
girded with golden girdles.
And out of the temple came the
seven angels with the
seven plagues, dressed in clean and bright linen and
girded with golden sashes around their chests.
And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.
Then one of the four living creatures gave the
seven angels
seven golden
bowls full of the wrath of God, who lives
forever and ever.
And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.
And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power; and no one could enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.
And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the
seven angels, “Go, pour out on the earth the
seven bowls of God’s wrath.”
And the
seventh angel poured out his
vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.
Then the
seventh angel poured out his
bowl into the air, and a loud voice came from the throne in the temple, saying, “It is done!”
And there came one of the
seven angels which had the
seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come
hither; I will
shew unto thee the judgment of the great
whore that sitteth upon many waters:
Then one of the
seven angels with the
seven bowls came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the punishment of the great
prostitute, who sits on many waters.
So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of
blasphemy, having
seven heads and ten horns.
And the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness, where I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with
blasphemous names and had
seven heads and ten horns.
And the angel said unto me, Wherefore
didst thou
marvel? I will tell thee the
mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the
seven heads and ten horns.
“Why are you so
amazed?” said the angel. “I will tell you the
mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the
seven heads and ten horns.
And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.
And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for only a little while.
And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the
seven, and goeth into
perdition.
The beast that was, and now is not, is an eighth king, who belongs to the other seven and is going into destruction.
And there came unto me one of the
seven angels which had the
seven vials full of the
seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come
hither, I will
shew thee the
bride, the Lamb’s wife.
Then one of the
seven angels with the
seven bowls full of the
seven final plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the
bride, the wife of the Lamb.”
