toll, tribute, and custom, and so thou
shalt endamage the revenue of the kings.

toll, and the royal treasury will suffer.

shalt surely fall before him.

downfall has begun, is Jewish, you will not prevail against him—for surely you will fall before him.”

shalt be
hid from the

shalt laugh: neither
shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth.

dost thou not
pardon my
transgression, and take away mine iniquity? for now shall I sleep in the dust; and thou
shalt seek me in the morning, but I shall not be.

pardon my
transgression and take away my iniquity? For soon I will lie down in the dust; You will seek me, but I will be no more.”

shalt make them as a
fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the LORD shall
swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall

engulf them, and the fire will
consume them.

shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou
shalt keep them secretly in a
pavilion from the
strife of tongues.

conceal them in Your shelter from
accusing tongues.
Thou art my hiding place; thou
shalt preserve me from trouble; thou
shalt compass me about with songs of
deliverance.
Selah.
I will
instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou
shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.

Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall
exalt thee to
inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou
shalt see it.

shalt bring them down into the pit of destruction:
bloody and
deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in thee.

bloodshed and
deceit will not live out half their days. But I will trust in You.
But thou, O LORD,
shalt laugh at them; thou
shalt have all the heathen in
derision.
But You, O LORD,
laugh at them; You
scoff at all the nations.
Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, thou
shalt purge them away.
O let the nations be
glad and sing for joy: for thou
shalt judge the people righteously, and
govern the nations upon earth.

Let the nations be
glad and sing for joy, for You judge the peoples justly and lead the nations of the earth.
Selah Thou, which hast shewed me great and
sore troubles,
shalt quicken me again, and
shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.
You will increase my honor and comfort me once again.

shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the
arrow that flieth by day;

arrow that
flies by day,

shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the
dragon shalt thou
trample under feet.

exalted my horn like that of a wild ox; with fine oil I have been
anointed.

forever; Your
renown endures to all generations.

shalt arise, and have mercy upon
Zion: for the time to favour her,
yea, the set time, is come.
You will rise up and have
compassion on
Zion, for it is time to show her favor— the appointed time has come.
They shall perish, but thou
shalt endure:
yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a
vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:
They will perish, but You remain; they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing You will change them, and they will be passed on.
I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou
shalt enlarge my heart.
I run in the path of Your commandments, for You will
enlarge my heart.

The LORD shall
bless thee out of
Zion: and thou
shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.

bless you from
Zion, that you may see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life,

shalt see thy children’s children, and peace upon Israel.

shalt deal
bountifully with me.

discern righteousness and justice and
equity—every good path.

shalt not be afraid:
yea, thou
shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.

straitened; and when thou runnest, thou
shalt not
stumble.

shalt be wise for
thyself: but if thou scornest, thou alone
shalt bear it.

angry man; and with a
furious man thou
shalt not go:

vomit up, and lose thy sweet words.

shalt deliver his soul from
hell.
Strike him with a rod, and you will deliver his soul from
Sheol.

shalt be as he that lieth down in the midst of the sea, or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast.
You will be like one sleeping on the high seas or lying on the top of a mast:
They have
stricken me,
shalt thou say, and I was not sick; they have beaten me, and I felt it not: when shall I
awake? I will seek it yet again.

Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw
nigh, when thou
shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
Remember your
Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of
adversity come and the years approach of which you will say, “I find no pleasure in them,”

shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou
wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.

angry with me, Your anger has turned away, and You have comforted me.

shalt take up this
proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the
oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!

oppressor has ceased, and how his
fury has ended!
