And the LORD
repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.
So the LORD relented from the
calamity He had threatened to
bring on His people.
And Moses said unto the LORD, See, thou sayest unto me,
Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou
wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.
Then Moses said to the LORD, “Look, You have been telling me, ‘Lead this people up,’ but You have not let me know whom You will send with me. Yet You have said, ‘I know you by name, and you have found favor in My sight.’
The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt
bring unto the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not
seethe a
kid in his mother’s milk.
Bring the best of the firstfruits of your soil to the house of the LORD your God. You must not
cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.”
Take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD:
whosoever is of a willing heart, let him
bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass,
Take from among you an offering to the LORD. Let
everyone whose heart is willing
bring an offering to the LORD: gold, silver, and bronze;
The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.
So all the men and women of the Israelites whose hearts
prompted them brought a
freewill offering to the LORD for all the work that the LORD through Moses had commanded them to do.
And they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it
withal. And they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning.
They received from Moses all the contributions that the Israelites had brought to carry out the service of constructing the sanctuary. Meanwhile, the people continued to
bring freewill offerings morning after morning,
And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the LORD commanded to make.
and said to Moses, “The people are bringing more than enough for doing the work the LORD has commanded us to do.”
And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing.
After Moses had given an order, they sent a
proclamation throughout the camp: “No man or woman should make anything else as an offering for the sanctuary.” So the people were restrained from
bringing more,
And thou shalt
bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt
bring in the
candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.
Then bring in the table and set out its arrangement; bring in the lampstand as well, and set up its lamps.
And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.
Then bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and wash them with water.
And thou shalt
bring his sons, and
clothe them with coats:
Bring his sons forward and
clothe them with tunics.
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you
bring an offering unto the LORD, ye shall
bring your offering of the cattle, even of the
herd, and of the flock.
“Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When any of you
brings an offering to the LORD, you may
bring as your offering an animal from the
herd or the flock.
If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the
herd, let him offer a male without
blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD.
If one’s offering is a burnt offering from the
herd, he is to present an
unblemished male. He must
bring it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting for its acceptance before the LORD.
And he shall kill the
bullock before the LORD: and the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall
bring the blood, and
sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
And he shall slaughter the young bull before the LORD, and Aaron’s sons the priests are to present the blood and
sprinkle it on all sides of the altar at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
And if his offering be of the flocks, namely, of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt sacrifice; he shall
bring it a male without
blemish.
If, however, one’s offering is a burnt offering from the flock—from the sheep or goats—he is to present an
unblemished male.
But he shall wash the inwards and the legs with water: and the priest shall bring it all, and burn it upon the altar: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
The
entrails and legs must be washed with water, and the priest shall
bring all of it and burn it on the altar; it is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma to the LORD.
And if the burnt sacrifice for his offering to the LORD be of fowls, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons.
If, instead, one’s offering to the LORD is a burnt offering of birds, he is to present a
turtledove or a young
pigeon.
And the priest shall
bring it unto the altar, and
wring off his head, and burn it on the altar; and the blood thereof shall be
wrung out at the side of the altar:
Then the priest shall bring it to the altar, twist off its head, and burn it on the altar; its blood should be drained out on the side of the altar.
And when any will offer a meat offering unto the LORD, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put
frankincense thereon:
“When
anyone brings a grain offering to the LORD, his offering must consist of fine flour. He is to pour olive oil on it, put
frankincense on it,
And he shall
bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests: and he shall take
thereout his handful of the flour thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the
frankincense thereof; and the priest shall burn the
memorial of it upon the altar, to be an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD:
and
bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests. The priest shall take a handful of the flour and oil, together with all the
frankincense, and burn this as a
memorial portion on the altar, an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma to the LORD.
And thou shalt bring the meat offering that is made of these things unto the LORD: and when it is presented unto the priest, he shall bring it unto the altar.
When you bring to the LORD the grain offering made in any of these ways, it is to be presented to the priest, and he shall take it to the altar.
No meat offering, which ye shall
bring unto the LORD, shall be made with
leaven: for ye shall burn no
leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of the LORD made by fire.
No grain offering that you present to the LORD may be made with
leaven, for you are not to burn any
leaven or honey as an offering made by fire to the LORD.
As for the
oblation of the firstfruits, ye shall offer them unto the LORD: but they shall not be burnt on the altar for a sweet savour.
You may
bring them to the LORD as an offering of firstfruits, but they are not to be offered on the altar as a pleasing
aroma.
And if thou offer a meat offering of thy firstfruits unto the LORD, thou shalt offer for the meat offering of thy firstfruits green ears of corn dried by the fire, even corn beaten out of full ears.
If you
bring a grain offering of firstfruits to the LORD, you shall offer
crushed heads of new grain
roasted on the fire.
And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
From the peace offering he is to
bring an offering made by fire to the LORD: the fat that covers the
entrails, all the fat that is on them,
And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat thereof, and the whole
rump, it shall he take off hard by the
backbone; and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
And from the peace offering he shall
bring an offering made by fire to the LORD consisting of its fat: the entire fat tail cut off close to the
backbone, the fat that covers the
entrails, all the fat that is on them,
If the priest that is
anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him
bring for his sin, which he hath
sinned, a young
bullock without
blemish unto the LORD for a sin offering.
If the
anointed priest sins,
bringing guilt on the people, he must
bring to the LORD a young bull without
blemish as a sin offering for the sin he has committed.
And he shall
bring the
bullock unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD; and shall lay his hand upon the
bullock’s head, and kill the
bullock before the LORD.
He must bring the bull to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting before the LORD, lay his hand on the bull’s head, and slaughter it before the LORD.
And the priest that is
anointed shall take of the
bullock’s blood, and
bring it to the tabernacle of the congregation:
Then the
anointed priest shall take some of the bull’s blood and
bring it into the Tent of Meeting.
When the sin, which they have
sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young
bullock for the sin, and
bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation.
when they become aware of the sin they have committed, then the assembly must bring a young bull as a sin offering and present it before the Tent of Meeting.
And the priest that is
anointed shall
bring of the
bullock’s blood to the tabernacle of the congregation:
Then the
anointed priest is to
bring some of the bull’s blood into the Tent of Meeting,
Or if his sin, wherein he hath
sinned, come to his knowledge; he shall
bring his offering, a
kid of the goats, a male without
blemish:
When he becomes aware of the sin he has committed, he must
bring an
unblemished male goat as his offering.
Or if his sin, which he hath
sinned, come to his knowledge: then he shall
bring his offering, a
kid of the goats, a female without
blemish, for his sin which he hath
sinned.
When he becomes aware of the sin he has committed, he must
bring an
unblemished female goat as his offering for that sin.
And if he
bring a lamb for a sin offering, he shall
bring it a female without
blemish.
If, however, he
brings a lamb as a sin offering, he must
bring an
unblemished female.
And he shall
bring his
trespass offering unto the LORD for his sin which he hath
sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a
kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an
atonement for him concerning his sin.
and he must
bring his guilt offering to the LORD for the sin he has committed: a female lamb or goat from the flock as a sin offering. And the priest will make
atonement for him concerning his sin.
And if he be not able to
bring a lamb, then he shall
bring for his
trespass, which he hath committed, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, unto the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering.
If, however, he cannot afford a lamb, he may
bring to the LORD as
restitution for his sin two turtledoves or two young pigeons—one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering.
And he shall
bring them unto the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin offering first, and
wring off his head from his neck, but shall not divide it
asunder:
He is to bring them to the priest, who shall first present the one for the sin offering. He is to twist its head at the front of its neck without severing it;
But if he be not able to
bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he that
sinned shall
bring for his offering the tenth part of an
ephah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put any
frankincense thereon: for it is a sin offering.
But if he cannot afford two turtledoves or two young pigeons, he may
bring a tenth of an
ephah of fine flour as a sin offering. He must not put olive oil or
frankincense on it, because it is a sin offering.
Then shall he
bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, even a
memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: it is a sin offering.
He is to
bring it to the priest, who shall take a handful from it as a
memorial portion and burn it on the altar
atop the offerings made by fire to the LORD; it is a sin offering.
If a soul commit a
trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall
bring for his
trespass unto the LORD a ram without
blemish out of the flocks, with thy
estimation by shekels of silver, after the
shekel of the sanctuary, for a
trespass offering:
“If someone acts unfaithfully and sins
unintentionally against any of the LORD’s holy things, he must
bring his guilt offering to the LORD: an
unblemished ram from the flock, of proper value in silver shekels according to the sanctuary
shekel; it is a guilt offering.
And he shall
bring a ram without
blemish out of the flock, with thy
estimation, for a
trespass offering, unto the priest: and the priest shall make an
atonement for him concerning his ignorance wherein he
erred and
wist it not, and it shall be
forgiven him.
He is to
bring to the priest an
unblemished ram of proper value from the flock as a guilt offering. Then the priest will make
atonement on his behalf for the wrong he has committed in ignorance, and he will be
forgiven.
Then he must
bring to the priest his guilt offering to the LORD: an
unblemished ram of proper value from the flock.
In a pan it shall be made with oil; and when it is
baken, thou shalt
bring it in: and the
baken pieces of the meat offering shalt thou offer for a sweet savour unto the LORD.
It shall be prepared with oil on a
griddle; you are to
bring it well-
kneaded and present it as a grain offering broken in pieces, a pleasing
aroma to the LORD.
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, He that offereth the sacrifice of his peace offerings unto the LORD shall
bring his
oblation unto the LORD of the sacrifice of his peace offerings.
“Speak to the Israelites and say, ‘
Anyone who presents a peace offering to the LORD must
bring it as his sacrifice to the LORD.
His own hands shall bring the offerings of the LORD made by fire, the fat with the breast, it shall he bring, that the breast may be waved for a wave offering before the LORD.
With his own hands he is to bring the offerings made by fire to the LORD; he shall bring the fat, together with the breast, and wave the breast as a wave offering before the LORD.
The
heave shoulder and the wave breast shall they
bring with the offerings made by fire of the fat, to wave it for a wave offering before the LORD; and it shall be thine, and thy sons’ with thee, by a statute for ever; as the LORD hath commanded.
They are to
bring the
thigh of the contribution and the breast of the wave offering, together with the fat portions of the offerings made by fire, to wave as a wave offering before the LORD. It will belong permanently to you and your children, as the LORD has commanded.”
For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.
For I am the LORD, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt so that I would be your God; therefore be holy, because I am holy.
And when the days of her
purifying are fulfilled, for a son, or for a daughter, she shall
bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering, and a young
pigeon, or a
turtledove, for a sin offering, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest:
When the days of her
purification are complete, whether for a son or for a daughter, she is to
bring to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting a year-old lamb for a burnt offering and a young
pigeon or a
turtledove for a sin offering.
And if she be not able to
bring a lamb, then she shall
bring two turtles, or two young pigeons; the one for the burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make an
atonement for her, and she shall be clean.
But if she cannot afford a lamb, she shall
bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons, one for a burnt offering and the other for a sin offering. Then the priest will make
atonement for her, and she will be clean.’”
And on the eighth day he shall take two he lambs without
blemish, and one
ewe lamb of the first year without
blemish, and three tenth deals of fine flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.
On the eighth day he is to
bring two
unblemished male lambs, an
unblemished ewe lamb a year old, a grain offering of three-tenths of an
ephah of fine flour mixed with olive oil, and one log of olive oil.
And he shall
bring them on the eighth day for his
cleansing unto the priest, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, before the LORD.
On the eighth day he is to
bring them for his
cleansing to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting before the LORD.
And this shall be his uncleanness in his issue: whether his flesh run with his issue, or his flesh be stopped from his issue, it is his uncleanness.
This uncleanness is from his discharge, whether his body allows the discharge to flow or blocks it. So his discharge will bring about uncleanness.
And on the eighth day she shall take unto her two turtles, or two young pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
On the eighth day she is to take two turtledoves or two young pigeons and bring them to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the LORD’S lot fell, and offer him for a sin offering.
he shall present the goat chosen by lot for the LORD and sacrifice it as a sin offering.
And Aaron shall
bring the
bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and shall make an
atonement for himself, and for his house, and shall kill the
bullock of the sin offering which is for himself:
When Aaron presents the bull for his sin offering and makes
atonement for himself and his household, he is to slaughter the bull for his own sin offering.
And he shall take a
censer full of burning coals of fire from off the altar before the LORD, and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and
bring it within the
vail:
Then he must take a
censer full of burning coals from the altar before the LORD, and two handfuls of finely ground
fragrant incense, and take them inside the
veil.
Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and
bring his blood within the
vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the
bullock, and
sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:
Aaron shall then slaughter the goat for the sin offering for the people and
bring its blood behind the
veil, and with its blood he must do as he did with the bull’s blood: He is to
sprinkle it against the mercy seat and in front of it.
And when he hath made an end of
reconciling the holy place, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar, he shall
bring the live goat:
When Aaron has finished
purifying the Most Holy Place, the Tent of Meeting, and the altar, he is to
bring forward the live goat.
And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:
instead of
bringing it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting to present it as an offering to the LORD before His tabernacle—that man shall
incur bloodguilt. He has shed blood and must be cut off from among his people.
To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the LORD.
For this reason the Israelites will bring to the LORD the sacrifices they have been offering in the open fields. They are to bring them to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and offer them as sacrifices of peace to the LORD.
And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer it unto the LORD; even that man shall be cut off from among his people.
but does not bring it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting to sacrifice it to the LORD, that man must be cut off from his people.
After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of
Canaan,
whither I
bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.
You must not follow the practices of the land of Egypt, where you used to live, and you must not follow the practices of the land of
Canaan, into which I am
bringing you. You must not walk in their customs.
And he shall
bring his
trespass offering unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, even a ram for a
trespass offering.
The man, however, must bring a ram to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting as his guilt offering to the LORD.
Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the land,
whither I
bring you to dwell therein,
spue you not out.
You are therefore to keep all My statutes and ordinances, so that the land where I am
bringing you to live will not
vomit you out.
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall
reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall
bring a
sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:
“Speak to the Israelites and say, ‘When you enter the land that I am giving you and you
reap its harvest, you are to
bring to the priest a
sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest.
Ye shall
bring out of your habitations two wave
loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be
baken with
leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the LORD.
Bring two
loaves of bread from your dwellings as a wave offering, each made from two-tenths of an
ephah of fine flour,
baked with
leaven, as the firstfruits to the LORD.
Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually.
“Command the Israelites to bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to keep the lamps burning continually.
Bring forth him that hath
cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.
“Take the
blasphemer outside the camp, and have all who heard him lay their hands on his head; then have the whole assembly stone him.
And Moses spake to the children of Israel, that they should
bring forth him that had
cursed out of the camp, and stone him with stones. And the children of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses.
Then Moses spoke to the Israelites, and they took the
blasphemer outside the camp and stoned him. So the Israelites did as the LORD had commanded Moses.
Then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.
But I will send My blessing upon you in the sixth year, so that the land will yield a crop sufficient for three years.
And ye shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new.
You will still be eating the old supply of grain when you need to clear it out to make room for the new.
I also will do this unto you; I will even
appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning
ague, that shall
consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall
sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.
then this is what I will do to you: I will
bring upon you sudden terror, wasting disease, and fever that will destroy your sight and
drain your life. You will
sow your seed in vain, because your enemies will eat it.
And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not
hearken unto me; I will
bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.
If you walk in hostility toward Me and refuse to obey Me, I will multiply your plagues seven times, according to your sins.
And I will
bring a sword upon you, that shall
avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the
pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
And I will
bring a sword against you to
execute the
vengeance of the covenant. Though you withdraw into your cities, I will send a plague among you, and you will be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
And I will make your cities waste, and
bring your
sanctuaries unto
desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours.
I will reduce your cities to
rubble and lay waste your
sanctuaries, and I will refuse to smell the pleasing
aroma of your sacrifices.
And I will
bring the land into
desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be
astonished at it.
And I will lay waste the land, so that your enemies who dwell in it will be
appalled.
And if it be a beast,
whereof men
bring an offering unto the LORD, all that any man giveth of such unto the LORD shall be holy.
If he vows an animal that may be brought as an offering to the LORD, any such animal given to the LORD shall be holy.
Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister unto him.
“Bring the tribe of Levi and present them to Aaron the priest to assist him.
And every offering of all the holy things of the children of Israel, which they bring unto the priest, shall be his.
Every sacred contribution the Israelites bring to the priest shall belong to him.
Then shall the man
bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall
bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an
ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put
frankincense thereon; for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of
memorial,
bringing iniquity to
remembrance.
then he is to
bring his wife to the priest. He must also
bring for her an offering of a tenth of an
ephah of barley flour. He is not to pour oil over it or put
frankincense on it, because it is a grain offering for jealousy, an offering of
memorial as a reminder of iniquity.
And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before the LORD:
The priest is to bring the wife forward and have her stand before the LORD.
And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman’s head, and put the offering of
memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering: and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causeth the
curse:
After the priest has the woman stand before the LORD, he is to let down her hair and place in her hands the grain offering of
memorial, which is the grain offering for jealousy. The priest is to hold the bitter water that
brings a
curse.
And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If no man have
lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that causeth the
curse:
And he is to put the woman under oath and say to her, ‘If no other man has
slept with you and you have not gone
astray and become
defiled while under your husband’s authority, may you be
immune to this bitter water that
brings a
curse.
May this water that
brings a
curse enter your stomach and cause your
belly to swell and your
thigh to
shrivel.’ Then the woman is to say, ‘
Amen,
Amen.’
And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causeth the
curse: and the water that causeth the
curse shall enter into her, and become bitter.
He is to have the woman drink the bitter water that
brings a
curse, and it will enter her and cause her bitter suffering.
Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman’s hand, and shall wave the offering before the LORD, and offer it upon the altar:
The priest shall take from her hand the grain offering for jealousy, wave it before the LORD, and bring it to the altar.
And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be
defiled, and have done
trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the
curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her
belly shall swell, and her
thigh shall
rot: and the woman shall be a
curse among her people.
When he has made her drink the water, if she has
defiled herself and been unfaithful to her husband, then the water that
brings a
curse will enter her and cause bitter suffering; her
belly will swell, her
thigh will
shrivel, and she will become
accursed among her people.
And on the eighth day he shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons, to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:
On the eighth day he must bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
And he shall
consecrate unto the LORD the days of his separation, and shall
bring a lamb of the first year for a
trespass offering: but the days that were before shall be lost, because his separation was
defiled.
He must rededicate his time of separation to the LORD and
bring a year-old male lamb as a guilt offering. But the preceding days shall not be counted, because his separation was
defiled.
And the priest shall bring them before the LORD, and shall offer his sin offering, and his burnt offering:
The priest is to present all these before the LORD and make the sin offering and the burnt offering.
And thou shalt bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together:
Bring the Levites before the Tent of Meeting and
assemble the whole congregation of Israel.
And thou shalt bring the Levites before the LORD: and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites:
You are to present the Levites before the LORD and have the Israelites lay their hands upon them.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with thee.
Then the LORD said to Moses, “Bring Me seventy of the elders of Israel known to you as leaders and officers of the people. Bring them to the Tent of Meeting and have them stand there with you.
And what the land is, whether it be fat or
lean, whether there be wood therein, or not. And be ye of good courage, and
bring of the fruit of the land. Now the time was the time of the firstripe grapes.
Is the soil fertile or unproductive? Are there trees in it or not? Be
courageous, and
bring back some of the fruit of the land.” (It was the season for the first ripe grapes.)
And wherefore hath the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt?
Why is the LORD
bringing us into this land to fall by the sword? Our wives and children will become
plunder. Would it not be better for us to go back to Egypt?”
If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.
If the LORD delights in us, He will bring us into this land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and He will give it to us.
Because the LORD was not able to
bring this people into the land which he
sware unto them, therefore he hath slain them in the wilderness.
‘Because the LORD was unable to
bring this people into the land He
swore to give them, He has slaughtered them in the wilderness.’
But my servant
Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I
bring into the land
whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.
But because My servant
Caleb has a different spirit and has followed Me wholeheartedly, I will
bring him into the land he has entered, and his descendants will
inherit it.
But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I
bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have
despised.
But I will
bring your children, whom you said would become
plunder, into the land you have rejected—and they will enjoy it.
