I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a
token of a
covenant between me and the earth.
I have set My
rainbow in the clouds, and it will be a sign of the
covenant between Me and the earth.
And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
I will remember My covenant between Me and you and every living creature of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life.
And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the
everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.
And whenever the
rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the
everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of every kind that is on the earth.”

covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be
circumcised.

covenant with you and your descendants after you, which you are to keep: Every male among you must be
circumcised.
You are to
circumcise the flesh of your
foreskin, and this will be a sign of the
covenant between Me and you.
He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be
circumcised: and my
covenant shall be in your flesh for an
everlasting covenant.
Whether they are born in your household or purchased, they must be
circumcised. My

But if any male is not
circumcised, he will be cut off from his people; he has broken My
covenant.”

covenant with him as an
everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.

covenant will I establish with Isaac, which
Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.
But I will establish My
covenant with Isaac, whom

cover the face of the earth, that one cannot be able to see the earth: and they shall eat the residue of that which is escaped, which remaineth unto you from the
hail, and shall eat every tree which groweth for you out of the field:
They will
cover the face of the land so that no one can see it. They will
devour whatever is left after the
hail and eat every tree that grows in your fields.
For they
covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was
darkened; and they did eat every
herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the
hail had left: and there remained not any green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of Egypt.
They
covered the face of all the land until it was black, and they consumed all the plants on the ground and all the fruit on the trees that the
hail had left behind. Nothing green was left on any tree or plant in all the land of Egypt.

covered them: they

sank there like a stone.

covered them. They

Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth,
hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of
fifties, and rulers of tens:
Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my
covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar
treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
Now if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My
covenant, you will be My
treasured possession out of all the nations—for the whole earth is Mine.

covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not
covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his
manservant, nor his
maidservant, nor his ox, nor his
ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.
And if a man shall open a pit, or if a man shall
dig a pit, and not
cover it, and an ox or an
ass fall therein;
If a man opens or digs a pit and fails to
cover it, and an ox or a
donkey falls into it,
But if the owner thereof be with it, he shall not make it good: if it be an
hired thing, it came for his
hire.
If the owner was present, no
restitution is required. If the animal was rented, the fee
covers the loss.
For that is his
covering only, it is his
raiment for his skin: wherein shall he sleep? and it shall come to pass, when he crieth unto me, that I will hear; for I am
gracious.
because his
cloak is the only
covering he has for his body. What else will he sleep in? And if he
cries out to Me, I will hear, for I am
compassionate.

covenant, and read in the
audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be

cherubim are to face each other, looking toward the mercy seat.
And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and spoons thereof, and
covers thereof, and
bowls thereof, to
cover withal: of pure gold shalt thou make them.
You are also to make the plates and dishes, as well as the pitchers and
bowls for pouring drink offerings. Make them out of pure gold.
And thou shalt make curtains of goats’ hair to be a covering upon the tabernacle: eleven curtains shalt thou make.
You are to make curtains of goat hair for the tent over the tabernacle—eleven curtains in all.
And a
cubit on the one side, and a
cubit on the other side of that which remaineth in the length of the curtains of the tent, it shall
hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to
cover it.
And the tent curtains will be a
cubit longer on either side, and the excess will
hang over the sides of the tabernacle to
cover it.

covering for the tent of rams’ skins
dyed red, and a

breeches to
cover their nakedness; from the loins even unto the thighs they shall reach:
Make linen undergarments to
cover their bare flesh, extending from
waist to
thigh.

covereth the inwards, and the
caul that is above the liver, and the two
kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and burn them upon the altar.
Take all the fat that
covers the
entrails and the
lobe of the liver, and both
kidneys with the fat on them, and burn them on the altar.
Also thou shalt take of the ram the fat and the
rump, and the fat that
covereth the inwards, and the
caul above the liver, and the two
kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and the right shoulder; for it is a ram of
consecration:
Take the fat from the ram, the fat tail, the fat
covering the
entrails, the
lobe of the liver, both
kidneys with the fat on them, and the right
thigh (since this is a ram for
ordination),

cover you with My hand until I have passed by.

And the LORD said, “Behold, I am making a
covenant. Before all your people I will perform wonders that have never been done in any nation in all the world. All the people among whom you live will see the LORD’s work, for it is an
awesome thing that I am doing with you.
Take
heed to
thyself, lest thou make a
covenant with the inhabitants of the land
whither thou goest, lest it be for a
snare in the midst of thee:
Be careful not to make a treaty with the inhabitants of the land you are entering, lest they become a
snare in your midst.
Lest thou make a
covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a
whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice;
Do not make a
covenant with the inhabitants of the land, for when they
prostitute themselves to their gods and sacrifice to them, they will
invite you, and you will eat their sacrifices.
For I will cast out the nations before thee, and
enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shalt go up to appear before the LORD thy God
thrice in the year.
For I will drive out the nations before you and
enlarge your borders, and no one will
covet your land when you go up three times a year to appear before the LORD your God.

The tabernacle, his tent, and his covering, his taches, and his boards, his bars, his pillars, and his sockets,
the tabernacle with its tent and covering, its clasps and frames, its crossbars, posts, and bases;
The ark, and the
staves thereof, with the mercy seat, and the
vail of the
covering,
the ark with its poles and mercy seat, and the
veil to shield it;
And he made a
covering for the tent of rams’ skins
dyed red, and a
covering of badgers’ skins above that.
Additionally, he made for the tent a
covering of ram skins
dyed red, and over that a
covering of fine leather.
And the cherubims spread out their wings on high, and covered with their wings over the mercy seat, with their faces one to another; even to the mercy seatward were the faces of the cherubims.
And the
cherubim had wings that spread upward, overshadowing the mercy seat. The
cherubim faced each other, looking toward the mercy seat.
And he made the vessels which were upon the table, his dishes, and his spoons, and his
bowls, and his
covers to
cover withal, of pure gold.

bowls and pitchers for pouring drink offerings.
And the
covering of rams’ skins
dyed red, and the
covering of badgers’ skins, and the
vail of the
covering,
the
covering of ram skins
dyed red, the
covering of fine leather, and the
veil of the
covering;
And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and
cover the ark with the
vail.
Put the ark of the Testimony in it and screen off the ark with the
veil.
And he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as the LORD commanded Moses.

And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the
vail of the
covering, and
covered the ark of the testimony; as the LORD commanded Moses.
Then he brought the ark into the tabernacle, put up the
veil for the screen, and shielded off the ark of the Testimony, just as the LORD had commanded him.
Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
And every
oblation of thy meat offering shalt thou season with salt; neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the
covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meat offering: with all thine offerings thou shalt offer salt.
And you shall season each of your grain offerings with salt. You must not leave the salt of the covenant of your God out of your grain offering; you are to add salt to each of your offerings.
And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
From the peace offering he is to bring an offering made by fire to the LORD: the fat that
covers the
entrails, all the fat that is on them,
And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat thereof, and the whole
rump, it shall he take off hard by the
backbone; and the fat that
covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
And from the peace offering he shall bring an offering made by fire to the LORD consisting of its fat: the entire fat tail cut off close to the
backbone, the fat that
covers the
entrails, all the fat that is on them,
And he shall offer thereof his offering, even an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
And from his offering he shall present an offering made by fire to the LORD: the fat that
covers the
entrails, all the fat that is on them,
And he shall take off from it all the fat of the
bullock for the sin offering; the fat that
covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
Then he shall remove all the fat from the bull of the sin offering—the fat that
covers the
entrails, all the fat that is on them,
And he shall offer of it all the fat thereof; the
rump, and the fat that
covereth the inwards,
And all the fat from it shall be offered: the fat tail, the fat that
covers the
entrails,
And the fat of the
bullock and of the ram, the
rump, and that which
covereth the inwards, and the
kidneys, and the
caul above the liver:
They also brought the fat portions from the ox and the ram—the fat tail, the fat
covering the
entrails, the
kidneys, and the
lobe of the liver—
And if a
leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and the
leprosy cover all the skin of him that hath the plague from his head even to his foot,
wheresoever the priest looketh;
But if the skin disease breaks out all over his skin so that it
covers all the skin of the
infected person from head to foot, as far as the priest can see,
Then the priest shall consider: and, behold, if the
leprosy have
covered all his flesh, he shall
pronounce him clean that hath the plague: it is all turned white: he is clean.
the priest shall examine him, and if the disease has
covered his entire body, he is to
pronounce the
infected person clean. Since it has all turned white, he is clean.
And the
leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and his head bare, and he shall put a
covering upon his upper
lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean.
A diseased person must wear
torn clothes and let his hair
hang loose, and he must
cover his mouth and cry out, ‘Unclean, unclean!’
And he shall put the incense upon the fire before the LORD, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is upon the testimony, that he die not:
He is to put the incense on the fire before the LORD, and the cloud of incense will cover the mercy seat above the Testimony, so that he will not die.
And
whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that
sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and
cover it with dust.
And if any
Israelite or foreigner living among them hunts down a wild animal or bird that may be eaten, he must
drain its blood and
cover it with
dirt.
Every sabbath he shall set it in order before the LORD continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an
everlasting covenant.
Every Sabbath day the bread is to be set out before the LORD on behalf of the Israelites as a permanent covenant.
For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.
I will turn toward you and make you fruitful and multiply you, and I will establish My covenant with you.
And if ye shall
despise my statutes, or if your soul
abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my
covenant:
and if you
reject My statutes,
despise My ordinances, and neglect to carry out all My commandments, and so break My
covenant,
