Berean Standard Bible BSB Bible
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When any man hath a running issue out of his flesh, because of his issue he is unclean.
“Say to the Israelites, ‘When any man has a bodily discharge, the discharge is unclean.
And this shall be his uncleanness in his issue: whether his flesh run with his issue, or his flesh be stopped from his issue, it is his uncleanness.
This uncleanness is from his discharge, whether his body allows the discharge to flow or blocks it. So his discharge will bring about uncleanness.
Every bed,
whereon he lieth that hath the issue, is unclean: and every thing,
whereon he sitteth, shall be unclean.
Any bed on which the man with the discharge lies will be unclean, and any furniture on which he sits will be unclean.
And he that sitteth on any thing
whereon he sat that hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Whoever sits on furniture on which the man with the
discharge was sitting must wash his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
And he that toucheth the flesh of him that hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Whoever touches the body of the man with a
discharge must wash his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
And if he that hath the issue
spit upon him that is clean; then he shall wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
If the man with the
discharge spits on one who is clean, that person must wash his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
And what
saddle soever he rideth upon that hath the issue shall be unclean.
Any
saddle on which the man with the
discharge rides will be unclean.
And
whomsoever he toucheth that hath the issue, and hath not
rinsed his hands in water, he shall wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
If the man with the
discharge touches
anyone without first
rinsing his hands with water, the one who was touched must wash his clothes and
bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
And the vessel of earth, that he toucheth which hath the issue, shall be broken: and every vessel of wood shall be
rinsed in water.
Any clay pot that the man with the
discharge touches must be broken, and any wooden
utensil must be
rinsed with water.
And when he that hath an issue is
cleansed of his issue; then he shall number to himself seven days for his
cleansing, and wash his clothes, and
bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean.
When the man has been
cleansed from his
discharge, he must count off seven days for his
cleansing, wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in fresh water, and he shall be clean.
And the priest shall offer them, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an
atonement for him before the LORD for his issue.

atonement for the man before the LORD because of his
discharge.

whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even.
When a woman has a
discharge consisting of blood from her body, she will be unclean due to her
menstruation for seven days, and
anyone who touches her will be unclean until evening.
And if a woman have an issue of her blood many days out of the time of her separation, or if it run beyond the time of her separation; all the days of the issue of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her separation: she shall be unclean.
When a woman has a
discharge of her blood for many days at a time other than her
menstrual period, or if it continues beyond her period, she will be unclean all the days of her unclean
discharge, just as she is during the days of her
menstruation.
Every bed
whereon she lieth all the days of her issue shall be unto her as the bed of her separation: and
whatsoever she sitteth upon shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her separation.
Any bed on which she lies or any furniture on which she sits during the days of her
discharge will be unclean, like her bed during her
menstrual period.
But if she be
cleansed of her issue, then she shall number to herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean.
When a woman is
cleansed of her
discharge, she must count off seven days, and after that she will be
ceremonially clean.
And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an
atonement for her before the LORD for the issue of her uncleanness.
The priest is to sacrifice one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering. In this way the priest will make
atonement for her before the LORD for her unclean
discharge.
This is the law of him that hath an issue, and of him whose seed goeth from him, and is
defiled therewith;
This is the law of him who has a
discharge, of the man who has an
emission of
semen whereby he is unclean,
And of her that is sick of her flowers, and of him that hath an issue, of the man, and of the woman, and of him that lieth with her that is unclean.

menstrual period, of any male or female who has a
discharge, and of a man who lies with an unclean woman.’”
What man
soever of the seed of Aaron is a
leper, or hath a running issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he be clean. And
whoso toucheth any thing that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him;
Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every
leper, and every one that hath an issue, and
whosoever is
defiled by the dead:
“Command the Israelites to send away from the camp
anyone with a skin disease,
anyone who has a bodily
discharge, and
anyone who is
defiled by a dead body.
Let it rest on the head of
Joab, and on all his father’s house; and let there not fail from the house of
Joab one that hath an issue, or that is a
leper, or that leaneth on a staff, or that falleth on the sword, or that lacketh bread.
May it
whirl over the heads of
Joab and the entire house of his father, and may the house of
Joab never be without one having a
discharge or skin disease, or one who leans on a staff or falls by the sword or lacks food.”
My servants shall bring them down from
Lebanon unto the sea: and I will convey them by sea in floats unto the place that thou shalt
appoint me, and will cause them to be
discharged there, and thou shalt receive them: and thou shalt
accomplish my desire, in giving food for my household.
My servants will
haul the logs from
Lebanon to the Sea, and I will
float them as rafts by sea to the place you
specify. There I will separate the logs, and you can take them away. And in exchange, you can meet my needs by providing my household with food.”
There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.
As no man has power over the wind to contain it, so no one has authority over his day of death. As no one can be discharged in wartime, so wickedness will not release those who practice it.
And as for other things that belong unto us, of the
tithes and customs pertaining unto us, as also the saltpits, and the crown taxes, which are due unto us, we
discharge them of them all for their relief.
Insomuch that he
discharged Menelaus from the accusations, who notwithstanding was cause of all the mischief: and those poor men, who, if they had told their cause,
yea, before the Scythians, should have been judged innocent, them he condemned to death.
