Then certain philosophers of the
Epicureans, and of the Stoicks,

babbler say? other some, He seemeth to be a

Some
Epicurean and

But none of these things move me, neither count I my life
dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to
testify the gospel of the grace of God.
But I consider my life of no value to me, if only I may finish my course and complete the ministry I have received from the Lord Jesus—the ministry of

We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may walk in newness of life.
But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Therefore if

new man out of the two, thus making peace
And that ye put on the

holiness.

holyday, or of the
new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Therefore let no one judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a feast, a New Moon, or a Sabbath.

new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its

But now when
Timotheus came from you unto us, and brought us good
tidings of your faith and charity, and that ye have good
remembrance of us always, desiring greatly to see us, as we also to see you:

renewal by the Holy Spirit.
For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
For we also received the good
news just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, since they did not share the faith of those who
comprehended it.
Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
Since, then, it remains for some to enter His rest, and since those who formerly heard the good news did not enter because of their disobedience,

In that he saith, A
new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to
vanish away.

And for this cause he is the
mediator of the
new testament, that by means of death, for the
redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
Therefore Christ is the
mediator of a
new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, now that He has died to
redeem them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.
By a
new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the

by the
new and living way opened for us through the

And to Jesus the
mediator of the
new covenant, and to the blood of
sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of
Abel.
to Jesus the
mediator of a
new covenant, and to the
sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of
Abel.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath
begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

newborn babes, desire the
sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.
Beloved, I am not writing to you a new commandment, but an old one, which you have had from the beginning. This commandment is the message you have heard.
Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.
Then again, I am also writing to you a
new commandment, which is true in Him and also in you. For the darkness is
fading and the true light is already
shining.
And now I
beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a
new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.
And now I
urge you,
dear lady—not as a
new commandment to you, but one we have had from the beginning—that we love one another.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden
manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a
new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who overcomes, I will give the hidden
manna. I will also give him a white stone inscribed with a
new name, known only to the one who receives it.
Him that overcometh will I make a
pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is
new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my
new name.
The one who overcomes I will make a
pillar in the temple of My God, and he will never again leave it. Upon him I will write the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God (the
new Jerusalem that comes down out of heaven from My God), and My
new name.
And they sung a
new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou
wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
And they

new song: “Worthy are You to take the
scroll and open its seals, because You were slain, and by Your blood You purchased for God those from every tribe and tongue and people and nation.

fiery vapour, or
filthy scents of scattered smoke, or shooting

new generation of fowls, when, being led with their
appetite, they asked delicate meats.

new friend is as

new house must care for the whole building; but he that undertaketh to set it out, and
paint it, must seek out fit things for the

rage leader of their battle
