mourn, and the herbs of every field wither, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein? the beasts are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our last end.

devise a
device against you: return ye now every one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.
Now therefore, tell the men of Judah and the

devising a plan against you. Turn now, each of you, from your evil ways, and correct your ways and deeds.’

astonishment, and an
hissing, and perpetual desolations.
behold, I will
summon all the families of the north, declares the LORD, and I will send for My servant
Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, whom I will bring against this land, against its
residents, and against all the surrounding nations. So I will
devote them to destruction and make them an object of
horror and contempt, an
everlasting desolation.
But know ye for certain, that if ye put me to death, ye shall surely bring innocent blood upon
yourselves, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof: for of a truth the LORD hath sent me unto you to speak all these words in your ears.

yourselves, upon this city, and upon its
