defrauded? whom have I
oppressed? or of whose hand have I received any
bribe to blind mine eyes
therewith? and I will
restore it you.

Zadok and
Abiathar, the priests: “Say to the elders of Judah, ‘Why should you be the last to
restore the king to his palace, since the talk of all Israel has reached the king at his quarters?
Ye are my brethren, ye are my bones and my flesh: wherefore then are ye the last to bring back the king?
You are my brothers, my own flesh and blood. So why should you be the last to restore the king?’

Elisha unto the woman, whose son he had

Now
Elisha had said to the woman whose son he had
restored to life, “Arise, you and your household; go and live as a foreigner wherever you can. For the LORD has decreed a seven-year famine, and it has already come to the land.”
And it came to pass, as he was telling the king how he had
restored a dead body to life, that, behold, the woman, whose son he had
restored to life,
cried to the king for her house and for her land. And Gehazi said, My lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom
Elisha restored to life.
And Gehazi was telling the king how
Elisha had brought the dead back to life. Just then the woman whose son
Elisha had revived came to appeal to the king for her house and her land. So Gehazi said, “My lord the king, this is the woman, and this is the son
Elisha restored to life.”
And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now.

supervised the labor on the house of the LORD to

Be it known now unto the king, that, if this city be builded, and the walls set up again, then will they not pay
toll, tribute, and custom, and so thou shalt
endamage the revenue of the kings.

restored, they will not pay tribute, duty, or
toll, and the royal treasury will suffer.

rejoice, let Israel be

rejoice, let Israel be
glad!

thyself to us again.

angry;
restore us!
They that
hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies
wrongfully, are mighty: then I
restored that which I took not away.
Those who
hate me without cause outnumber the hairs of my head; many are those who would destroy me— my enemies for no reason. Though I did not
steal, I must repay.
Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to
shine; and we shall be saved.

restore Tyre. Then she will return to
hire as a
prostitute and sell herself to all the kingdoms on the face of the earth.
O Lord, by these things men live, and in all these things is the life of my spirit: so

But this is a people
robbed and
spoiled; they are all of them
snared in holes, and they are
hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a
spoil, and none saith,

Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to
inherit the
desolate heritages;

appoint You to be a covenant for the people, to
restore the land, to
apportion its
desolate inheritances,
For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth
eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a
contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the
contrite ones.
For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits
eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in a high and holy place, and with the
oppressed and humble in spirit, to
restore the spirit of the lowly and revive the heart of the
contrite.

heal him: I will lead him also, and
restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.

And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins; you will restore the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of the Breach, Restorer of the Streets of Dwelling.
And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
They will rebuild the ancient ruins; they will
restore the places long
devastated; they will renew the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations.
Is there no
balm in
Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?
Is there no
balm in
Gilead? Is no physician there? Why then has the health of the daughter of my people not been
restored?
Therefore thus saith the LORD, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt stand before me: and if thou take forth the precious from the
vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them.
Therefore this is what the LORD says: “If you return, I will
restore you; you will stand in My presence. And if you speak words that are noble instead of worthless, you will be My
spokesman. It is they who must turn to you, but you must not turn to them.
They shall be carried to Babylon, and there shall they be until the day that I visit them, saith the LORD; then will I bring them up, and restore them to this place.
‘They will be carried to Babylon and will remain there until the day I attend to them again,’ declares the LORD. ‘Then I will bring them back and restore them to this place.’”
Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of the LORD’S house, that
Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried them to Babylon:
Within two years I will
restore to this place all the articles of the house of the LORD that
Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon removed from here and carried to Babylon.
And I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of
Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the
captives of Judah, that went into Babylon, saith the LORD: for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
And I will
restore to this place Jeconiah son of
Jehoiakim king of Judah, along with all the exiles from Judah who went to Babylon,’ declares the LORD, ‘for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.’”
Even the prophet Jeremiah said,
Amen: the LORD do so: the LORD perform thy words which thou hast
prophesied, to bring again the vessels of the LORD’S house, and all that is carried away
captive, from Babylon into this place.
“
Amen!” Jeremiah said. “May the LORD do so! May the LORD
fulfill the words you have
prophesied, and may He
restore the articles of His house and all the exiles back to this place from Babylon.
For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.
For this is what the LORD says: “When Babylon’s seventy years are complete, I will attend to you and
confirm My promise to
restore you to this place.
