And took off their
chariot wheels, that they
drave them
heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us
flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians.
He caused their
chariot wheels to
wobble, so that they had difficulty driving. “Let us
flee from the Israelites,” said the Egyptians, “for the LORD is fighting for them against Egypt!”
And every base had four
brasen wheels, and plates of brass: and the four corners thereof had undersetters: under the
laver were undersetters
molten, at the side of every addition.
Each stand had four bronze
wheels with bronze axles and a basin resting on four supports, with
wreaths at each side.
And under the borders were four
wheels; and the axletrees of the
wheels were joined to the base: and the height of a
wheel was a
cubit and a half a
cubit.
There were four
wheels under the panels, and the axles of the
wheels were attached to the stand; each
wheel was a
cubit and a half in diameter.
And the work of the
wheels was like the work of a
chariot wheel: their axletrees, and their naves, and their felloes, and their spokes, were all
molten.
The
wheels were made like
chariot wheels; their axles, rims, spokes, and hubs were all of cast metal.
O my God, make them like a
wheel; as the
stubble before the wind.
A wise king scattereth the wicked, and bringeth the wheel over them.
A wise king separates out the wicked and drives the
threshing wheel over them.
Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden
bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the
wheel broken at the
cistern.
Remember Him before the silver cord is
snapped and the golden
bowl is
crushed, before the pitcher is
shattered at the spring and the
wheel is broken at the well,
Whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent, their horses’
hoofs shall be counted like flint, and their
wheels like a
whirlwind:
Their arrows are sharpened, and all their bows are
strung. The
hooves of their horses are like flint; their
chariot wheels are like a
whirlwind.
Grain for bread must be ground, but it is not endlessly
threshed. Though the
wheels of the
cart roll over it, the horses do not
crush it.
Then I went down to the
potter’s house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the
wheels.
So I went down to the
potter’s house and saw him working at the
wheel.
At the noise of the stamping of the
hoofs of his strong horses, at the
rushing of his
chariots, and at the
rumbling of his
wheels, the fathers shall not look back to their children for feebleness of hands;
Now as I
beheld the living creatures, behold one
wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces.
When I looked at the living creatures, I saw a wheel on the ground beside each creature with its four faces.
The appearance of the
wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a
beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a
wheel in the middle of a
wheel.
And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.
So as the living creatures moved, the wheels moved beside them, and when the creatures rose from the ground, the wheels also rose.
Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the
wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the
wheels.
Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, and the
wheels would rise
alongside them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the
wheels.
When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.
When the creatures moved, the
wheels moved; when the creatures stood still, the
wheels stood still; and when the creatures rose from the ground, the
wheels rose
alongside them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the
wheels.
I heard also the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the
wheels over against them, and a noise of a great
rushing.
It was the sound of the wings of the living creatures
brushing against one another and the sound of the
wheels beside them, a great
rumbling sound.
And he spake unto the man clothed with linen, and said, Go in between the
wheels, even under the
cherub, and fill thine hand with coals of fire from between the cherubims, and
scatter them over the city. And he went in in my sight.
And the LORD said to the man clothed in linen, “Go inside the
wheelwork beneath the
cherubim. Fill your hands with burning coals from among the
cherubim and
scatter them over the city.” And as I watched, he went in.
And it came to pass, that when he had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubims; then he went in, and stood beside the wheels.
When the LORD commanded the man clothed in linen, saying, “Take fire from within the
wheelwork, from among the
cherubim,” the man went in and stood beside a
wheel.
And when I looked, behold the four
wheels by the cherubims, one
wheel by one
cherub, and another
wheel by another
cherub: and the appearance of the
wheels was as the colour of a
beryl stone.
And as for their appearances, they four had one likeness, as if a wheel had been in the midst of a wheel.
As for their appearance, all four had the same form, like a wheel within a wheel.
And their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes round about, even the wheels that they four had.
Their entire bodies, including their backs, hands, and wings, were full of eyes all around, as were their four wheels.
As for the
wheels, it was
cried unto them in my hearing, O
wheel.
I heard the
wheels being called “the
whirling wheels.”
And when the cherubims went, the wheels went by them: and when the cherubims lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the same wheels also turned not from beside them.
When the
cherubim moved, the
wheels moved beside them, and even when they spread their wings to rise from the ground, the
wheels did not
veer away from their side.
When they stood, these stood; and when they were lifted up, these lifted up themselves also: for the spirit of the living creature was in them.
When the
cherubim stood still, the
wheels also stood still, and when they ascended, the
wheels ascended with them, for the spirit of the living creatures was in the
wheels.
And the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and every one stood at the door of the east gate of the LORD’S house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
As I watched, the
cherubim lifted their wings and rose up from the ground, with the
wheels beside them as they went. And they stopped at the entrance of the east gate of the house of the LORD, with the glory of the God of Israel above them.
Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
Then the
cherubim, with the
wheels beside them, spread their wings, and the glory of the God of Israel was above them.
And they shall come against thee with
chariots, wagons, and
wheels, and with an assembly of people, which shall set against thee
buckler and shield and
helmet round about: and I will set judgment before them, and they shall judge thee according to their judgments.
They will come against you with a host of peoples, with weapons,
chariots, and wagons. They will
array themselves against you on every side with
buckler and shield and
helmet. I will
delegate judgment to them, and they will
punish you according to their own standards.
By reason of the abundance of his horses their dust shall cover thee: thy walls shall
shake at the noise of the
horsemen, and of the
wheels, and of the
chariots, when he shall enter into thy gates, as men enter into a city wherein is made a breach.
His multitude of horses will cover you in their dust. When he enters your gates as an army entering a breached city, your walls will
shake from the noise of cavalry, wagons, and
chariots.
I
beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the
fiery flame, and his
wheels as burning fire.
As I continued to watch, thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took His seat. His clothing was white as snow, and the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was flaming with fire, and its
wheels were all
ablaze.
So
doth the
potter sitting at his work, and turning the
wheel about with his feet, who is
alway carefully set at his work, and maketh all his work by number;
