As for Saul, he made
havock of the church, entering into every house, and
haling men and women committed them to prison.

rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and
expounded it by order unto them, saying,
But Peter
began and explained to them the whole

As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, just as He had fallen upon us at the beginning.
Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and
Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.
Meanwhile those scattered by the persecution that
began with Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia,
Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the message only to Jews.
And some of them were men of
Cyprus and
Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Grecians, preaching the Lord Jesus.
But some of them, men from
Cyprus and
Cyrene, went to Antioch and
began speaking to the Greeks as well,
proclaiming the good news about the Lord Jesus.

beckoning with his hand said, Men of Israel, and ye that fear God, give
audience.
Paul stood up, motioned with his hand, and
began to speak: “Men of Israel and you Gentiles who fear God,
listen to me!
Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he
leaped and walked.
In a loud voice Paul called out, “Stand up on your feet!” And the man
jumped up and
began to walk.
