bush: and he looked, and, behold, the

nigh unto the camp, that he saw the
calf, and the dancing: and Moses’ anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and

calf and the dancing, he
burned with anger and threw the tablets out of his hands,
shattering them at the base of the mountain.
And he took the
calf which they had made, and
burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.

sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy.
Anoint the altar of
burnt offering and all its utensils;
consecrate the altar, and it shall be most holy.
And he
burnt sweet incense
thereon; as the LORD commanded Moses.
and he
burned fragrant incense on it, just as the LORD had commanded him.

If his offering be a
burnt sacrifice of the
herd, let him offer a male without
blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD.
If one’s offering is a
burnt offering from the
herd, he is to present an
unblemished male. He must bring it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting for its acceptance before the LORD.
And he shall put his hand upon the head of the
burnt offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make
atonement for him.
He is to lay his hand on the head of the
burnt offering, so it can be accepted on his behalf to make
atonement for him.
And he shall
flay the
burnt offering, and cut it into his pieces.
Next, he is to skin the burnt offering and cut it into pieces.
And the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat, in order upon the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar:
Then Aaron’s sons the priests are to arrange the pieces, including the head and the fat,
atop the
burning wood on the altar.
But his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: and the priest shall burn all on the altar, to be a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
The
entrails and legs must be washed with water, and the priest shall
burn all of it on the altar as a
burnt offering, an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma to the LORD.
And if his offering be of the flocks, namely, of the sheep, or of the goats, for a
burnt sacrifice; he shall bring it a male without
blemish.
If, however, one’s offering is a
burnt offering from the flock—from the sheep or goats—he is to present an
unblemished male.
And he shall cut it into his pieces, with his head and his fat: and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar:
He is to cut the animal into pieces, and the priest shall arrange them, including the head and fat,
atop the
burning wood that is on the altar.
But he shall wash the inwards and the legs with water: and the priest shall bring it all, and burn it upon the altar: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
The
entrails and legs must be washed with water, and the priest shall bring all of it and
burn it on the altar; it is a
burnt offering, an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma to the LORD.
And if the burnt sacrifice for his offering to the LORD be of fowls, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons.
If, instead, one’s offering to the LORD is a
burnt offering of birds, he is to present a
turtledove or a young
pigeon.
And the priest shall bring it unto the altar, and
wring off his head, and
burn it on the altar; and the blood thereof shall be
wrung out at the side of the altar:
Then the priest shall bring it to the altar, twist off its head, and burn it on the altar; its blood should be drained out on the side of the altar.
And he shall
cleave it with the wings thereof, but shall not divide it
asunder: and the priest shall
burn it upon the altar, upon the wood that is upon the fire: it is a
burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
He shall
tear it open by its wings, without dividing the bird completely. And the priest is to
burn it on the altar
atop the
burning wood. It is a
burnt offering, an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma to the LORD.
And he shall bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests: and he shall take
thereout his handful of the flour thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the
frankincense thereof; and the priest shall
burn the
memorial of it upon the altar, to be an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD:
and bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests. The priest shall take a handful of the flour and oil, together with all the
frankincense, and
burn this as a
memorial portion on the altar, an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma to the LORD.
And the priest shall take from the meat offering a
memorial thereof, and shall
burn it upon the altar: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
The priest is to remove the
memorial portion from the grain offering and
burn it on the altar as an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma to the LORD.
No meat offering, which ye shall bring unto the LORD, shall be made with
leaven: for ye shall
burn no
leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of the LORD made by fire.
No grain offering that you present to the LORD may be made with
leaven, for you are not to
burn any
leaven or honey as an offering made by fire to the LORD.
As for the
oblation of the firstfruits, ye shall offer them unto the LORD: but they shall not be
burnt on the altar for a sweet savour.
You may bring them to the LORD as an offering of firstfruits, but they are not to be offered on the altar as a pleasing
aroma.
And the priest shall
burn the
memorial of it, part of the beaten corn thereof, and part of the oil thereof, with all the
frankincense thereof: it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
The priest shall then
burn the
memorial portion of the
crushed grain and the oil, together with all its
frankincense, as an offering made by fire to the LORD.
And Aaron’s sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, which is upon the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
Then Aaron’s sons are to
burn it on the altar
atop the
burnt offering that is on the
burning wood, as an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma to the LORD.
And the priest shall burn it upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire unto the LORD.
Then the priest is to burn them on the altar as food, an offering made by fire to the LORD.
And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet savour: all the fat is the LORD’S.
Then the priest is to
burn the food on the altar as an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma. All the fat is the LORD’s.
And the priest shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before the LORD, which is in the tabernacle of the congregation: and shall pour all the blood of the
bullock at the bottom of the altar of the
burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
The priest must then put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of
fragrant incense that is before the LORD in the Tent of Meeting. And he is to pour out the rest of the bull’s blood at the base of the altar of
burnt offering at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
As it was taken off from the
bullock of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall
burn them upon the altar of the
burnt offering.
just as the fat is removed from the ox of the peace offering. Then the priest shall burn them on the altar of burnt offering.
Even the whole
bullock shall he carry forth without the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and
burn him on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall he be
burnt.
all the rest of the bull—he must take outside the camp to a
ceremonially clean place where the ashes are poured out, and there he must
burn it on a wood fire on the ash
heap.
And he shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar which is before the LORD, that is in the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall pour out all the blood at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
He is also to put some of the blood on the horns of the altar that is before the LORD in the Tent of Meeting, and he must pour out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar of burnt offering at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
And he shall take all his fat from him, and burn it upon the altar.
And he is to remove all the fat from it and burn it on the altar.
And he shall carry forth the
bullock without the camp, and
burn him as he
burned the first
bullock: it is a sin offering for the congregation.
Then he is to take the bull outside the camp and burn it, just as he burned the first bull. It is the sin offering for the assembly.
And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before the LORD: it is a sin offering.
He is to lay his hand on the head of the goat and slaughter it at the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered before the LORD. It is a sin offering.
And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out his blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt offering.
Then the priest is to take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and pour out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar.
And he shall
burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall make an
atonement for him as concerning his sin, and it shall be
forgiven him.
He must
burn all its fat on the altar, like the fat of the peace offerings; thus the priest will make
atonement for that man’s sin, and he will be
forgiven.
And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and
slay the sin offering in the place of the
burnt offering.
He is to lay his hand on the head of the sin offering and slaughter it at the place of the burnt offering.
And the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar.
Then the priest is to take some of its blood with his finger, put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and pour out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar.
And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall
burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour unto the LORD; and the priest shall make an
atonement for him, and it shall be
forgiven him.
Then he is to remove all the fat, just as it is removed from the peace offering, and the priest is to
burn it on the altar as a pleasing
aroma to the LORD. In this way the priest will make
atonement for him, and he will be
forgiven.
And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and
slay it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the
burnt offering
And he is to lay his hand on the head of the sin offering and slaughter it as a sin offering at the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered.
And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar:
Then the priest is to take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and pour out the rest of its blood at the base of the altar.
And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall
burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: and the priest shall make an
atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be
forgiven him.
And he shall remove all the fat, just as the fat of the lamb is removed from the peace offerings, and he shall
burn it on the altar along with the offerings made by fire to the LORD. In this way the priest will make
atonement for him for the sin he has committed, and he will be
forgiven.
And if he be not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring for his
trespass, which he hath committed, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, unto the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a
burnt offering.
If, however, he cannot afford a lamb, he may bring to the LORD as
restitution for his sin two turtledoves or two young pigeons—one as a sin offering and the other as a
burnt offering.
And he shall offer the second for a
burnt offering, according to the manner: and the priest shall make an
atonement for him for his sin which he hath
sinned, and it shall be
forgiven him.
And the priest must prepare the second bird as a
burnt offering according to the
ordinance. In this way the priest will make
atonement for him for the sin he has committed, and he will be
forgiven.
Then shall he bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, even a
memorial thereof, and
burn it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: it is a sin offering.
He is to bring it to the priest, who shall take a handful from it as a
memorial portion and
burn it on the altar
atop the offerings made by fire to the LORD; it is a sin offering.
Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering: It is the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it.
“Command Aaron and his sons that this is the law of the
burnt offering: The
burnt offering is to remain on the
hearth of the altar all night, until morning, and the fire must be kept
burning on the altar.
And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen
breeches shall he put upon his flesh, and take up the ashes which the fire hath consumed with the
burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.
And the priest shall put on his linen
robe and linen undergarments, and he shall remove from the altar the ashes of the
burnt offering that the fire has consumed and place them beside it.
And the fire upon the altar shall be
burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall
burn wood on it every morning, and lay the
burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall
burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.
The fire on the altar shall be kept
burning; it must not be
extinguished. Every morning the priest is to add wood to the fire, arrange the
burnt offering on it, and
burn the fat portions of the peace offerings on it.
The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.
The fire shall be kept
burning on the altar continually; it must not be
extinguished.
And he shall take of it his handful, of the flour of the meat offering, and of the oil thereof, and all the
frankincense which is upon the meat offering, and shall
burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour, even the
memorial of it, unto the LORD.
The priest is to remove a handful of fine flour and olive oil, together with all the
frankincense from the grain offering, and
burn the
memorial portion on the altar as a pleasing
aroma to the LORD.
And the priest of his sons that is
anointed in his
stead shall offer it: it is a statute for ever unto the LORD, it shall be wholly
burnt.
The priest, who is one of Aaron’s sons and will be
anointed to take his place, is to prepare it. As a permanent portion for the LORD, it must be
burned completely.
For every meat offering for the priest shall be wholly burnt: it shall not be eaten.
Every grain offering for a priest shall be burned completely; it is not to be eaten.”
Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin offering: In the place where the burnt offering is killed shall the sin offering be killed before the LORD: it is most holy.
“Tell Aaron and his sons that this is the law of the sin offering: In the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered, the sin offering shall be slaughtered before the LORD; it is most holy.
And no sin offering,
whereof any of the blood is brought into the tabernacle of the congregation to
reconcile withal in the holy place, shall be eaten: it shall be
burnt in the fire.
But no sin offering may be eaten if its blood has been brought into the Tent of Meeting to make
atonement in the Holy Place; it must be
burned.
In the place where they kill the
burnt offering shall they kill the
trespass offering: and the blood thereof shall he
sprinkle round about upon the altar.
The guilt offering must be slaughtered in the place where the
burnt offering is slaughtered, and the priest shall
sprinkle its blood on all sides of the altar.
And the priest shall
burn them upon the altar for an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a
trespass offering.
The priest shall burn them on the altar as an offering made by fire to the LORD; it is a guilt offering.
And the priest that offereth any man’s burnt offering, even the priest shall have to himself the skin of the burnt offering which he hath offered.
As for the priest who presents a
burnt offering for
anyone, the hide of that offering belongs to him.
But the remainder of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burnt with fire.
But any meat of the sacrifice remaining until the third day must be burned up.
And the flesh that toucheth any unclean thing shall not be eaten; it shall be burnt with fire: and as for the flesh, all that be clean shall eat thereof.
Meat that touches anything unclean must not be eaten; it is to be
burned up. As for any other meat,
anyone who is
ceremonially clean may eat it.
And the priest shall burn the fat upon the altar: but the breast shall be Aaron’s and his sons’.
The priest is to burn the fat on the altar, but the breast belongs to Aaron and his sons.
This is the law of the
burnt offering, of the meat offering, and of the sin offering, and of the
trespass offering, and of the consecrations, and of the sacrifice of the peace offerings;
This is the law of the
burnt offering, the grain offering, the sin offering, the guilt offering, the
ordination offering, and the peace offering,
