Rabbi, the One who was with you beyond the Jordan, the One you
testified about—He is
baptizing, and
everyone is going to Him.”

When a
Samaritan woman
came to draw water, Jesus said to her, “Give Me a drink.”
And upon this
came his disciples, and
marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her?
Just then His disciples returned and were surprised that He was speaking with a woman. But no one asked Him, “What do You want from her?” or “Why are You talking with her?”
Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.
So they left the town and made their way toward Jesus.

came other boats from
Tiberias nigh unto the place where they did eat bread, after that the Lord had given
thanks:)
However, some boats from
Tiberias landed near the place where the people had eaten the bread after the Lord had given
thanks.
When the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, neither his disciples, they also took shipping, and
came to
Capernaum, seeking for Jesus.
So when the crowd saw that neither Jesus nor His disciples were there, they got into the boats and went to
Capernaum to look for Him.
And when they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said unto him,
Rabbi, when
camest thou
hither?

murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which
came down from heaven.

And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?
They were asking, “Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How then can He say, ‘I have come down from heaven?’”
I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
I am the living bread that
came down from heaven. If
anyone eats of this bread, he will live
forever. And this bread, which I will give for the life of the world, is My flesh.”
This is that bread which
came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat
manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.
This is the bread that
came down from heaven. Unlike your fathers, who
ate the
manna and died, the one who eats this bread will live
forever.”

Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I
came, and
whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and
whither I go.

testify about Myself, My testimony is
valid, because I know where I
came from and where I am going. But you do not know where I
came from or where I am going.
Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

came back seeing.

came before me are
thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
All who
came before Me were
thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not
listen to them.

came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long

When Jesus therefore saw her
weeping, and the Jews also
weeping which
came with her, he
groaned in the spirit, and was troubled,

weeping, and the Jews who had come with her also
weeping, He was deeply moved in spirit and troubled.

Six days before the

Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they
came not for Jesus’ sake only, but that they might see
Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.
Meanwhile a large crowd of Jews learned that Jesus was there. And they
came not only because of Him, but also to see

Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.

Father,
glorify thy name. Then
came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both
glorified it, and will
glorify it again.
Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.
In
response, Jesus said, “This voice was not for My benefit, but yours.
And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
As for
anyone who hears My words and does not keep them, I do not judge him. For I have not come to judge the world, but to save the world.

For the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came from God.
I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
I came from the Father and entered the world. In turn, I will leave the world and go to the Father.”
Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.
Now we understand that You know all things and that You have no need for
anyone to question You. Because of this, we believe that You
came from God.”
For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I
came out from thee, and they have believed that thou
didst send me.

Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause
came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
“Then You are a king!”
Pilate said. “You say that I am a king,” Jesus answered. “For this reason I was born and have come into the world, to
testify to the truth.
Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to My voice.”
Pilate therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him.
Once again

sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.
So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved. “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb,” she said, “and we do not know where they have put Him!”
Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and
came to the
sepulchre.
Then Peter and the other disciple set out for the tomb.
So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and
came first to the
sepulchre.
The two were running together, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first.
Then went in also that other disciple, which
came first to the
sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.
Then the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went in. And he saw and believed.

Eight days later, His disciples were once again inside with the doors locked, and Thomas was with them. Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.”
And the other disciples
came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,)
dragging the net with fishes.
The other disciples
came ashore in the boat. They
dragged in the net full of fish, for they were not far from land, only about a hundred yards.

Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and He did the same with the fish.

rushing wind
came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.
And there appeared unto them
cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
They saw tongues like flames of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.

And when this sound
rang out, a crowd
came together in
bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking his own language.

Sadducees,
came upon them,
While Peter and John were speaking to the people, the priests and the captain of the temple guard and the

And it
came to pass on the
morrow, that their rulers, and elders, and
scribes,
The next day the rulers, elders, and
scribes assembled in Jerusalem,
And
Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear
came on all them that heard these things.
On hearing these words,
Ananias fell down and died. And great fear
came over all who heard what had happened.
And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.
About three hours later his wife also came in, unaware of what had happened.
Then fell she down
straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men
came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.
At that instant she fell down at his feet and died. Then the young men came in and, finding her dead, carried her out and buried her beside her husband.

healed.
And when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel and sent to the prison to have them brought.
At
daybreak the apostles entered the temple courts as they had been told and began to teach the people. When the high priest and his associates arrived, they
convened the
Sanhedrin—the full assembly of the elders of Israel—and sent to the
jail for the apostles.
But when the officers came, and found them not in the prison, they returned, and told,
But on arriving at the
jail, the officers did not find them there. So they returned with the report:
Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.
Then someone
came in and
announced, “Look, the men you put in
jail are standing in the temple courts teaching the people!”
For before these days rose up Theudas,
boasting himself to be
somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to
nought.
Some time ago Theudas rose up, claiming to be
somebody, and about four hundred men joined him. He was killed, all his followers were
dispersed, and it all
came to nothing.
And they
stirred up the people, and the elders, and the
scribes, and
came upon him, and caught him, and brought him to the council,
Then came he out of the land of the Chaldaeans, and dwelt in Charran: and from thence, when his father was dead, he removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell.
So Abraham left the land of the Chaldeans and settled in
Haran. After his father died, God brought him out of that place and into this land where you are now living.
Then famine and great suffering swept across Egypt and
Canaan, and our fathers could not find food.
And when he was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Israel.
When Moses was forty years old, he decided to visit his brothers, the children of Israel.
And the next day he shewed himself unto them as they
strove, and would have set them at one again, saying, Sirs, ye are brethren; why do ye wrong one to another?
The next day he
came upon two Israelites who were fighting, and he tried to
reconcile them, saying, ‘Men, you are brothers. Why are you mistreating each other?’
When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the Lord came unto him,
When Moses saw it, he
marveled at the sight. As he approached to look more closely, the voice of the Lord
came to him:
Which also our fathers that
came after brought in with Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God
drave out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;
And our fathers who received it brought it in with Joshua when they dispossessed the nations God drove out before them. It remained until the time of David,
For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice,
came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with
palsies, and that were
lame, were
healed.
With loud shrieks, unclean spirits
came out of many who were possessed, and many of the
paralyzed and
lame were
healed.
And as they went on their way, they
came unto a certain water: and the
eunuch said, See, here is water; what
doth hinder me to be
baptized?
As they traveled along the road and
came to some water, the
eunuch said, “Look, here is water! What is there to prevent me from being
baptized?”
And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the
eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way
rejoicing.
When they
came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord carried Philip away, and the
eunuch saw him no more, but went on his way
rejoicing.
But Philip was found at
Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he
came to Caesarea.
But Philip appeared at
Azotus and traveled through that region, preaching the gospel in all the towns until he
came to Caesarea.

came near Damascus: and suddenly there
shined round about him a light from heaven:
As Saul drew near to Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven
flashed around him.
And
Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou
camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
So
Ananias went to the house, and when he arrived, he placed his hands on Saul. “Brother Saul,” he said, “the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here, has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”
