Be
merciful unto me, O God, be
merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee:
yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these
calamities be overpast.

prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.

flourish, and the
grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets:

fool, shall be in
danger of
hell fire.
But I tell you that
anyone who is
angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again,

Raca,’ will be subject to the

fool!’ will be subject to the fire of
hell.

danger to be set at

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall
tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or
peril, or sword?
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a
fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths

danger from rivers and from
bandits, in
danger from my countrymen and from the Gentiles, in
danger in the city and in the country, in
danger on the sea and among false brothers,
