But when thou art
bidden, go and sit
down in the lowest room; that when he that
bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee.

reap what you did not
sow.’

down from heaven, so that
anyone may eat of it and not die.

down from heaven. If

And again He bent down and wrote on the ground.
As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father. And I lay down My life for the sheep.
Therefore
doth my Father love me, because I lay
down my life, that I might take it again.
The reason the Father loves Me is that I lay down My life in order to take it up again.
No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
No one takes it from Me, but I lay it
down of My own
accord. I have authority to lay it
down and authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from My Father.”
