ministration of death, written and
engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not
stedfastly behold the
face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:

gaze at the
face of Moses because of its fleeting glory,
And not as Moses, which put a
vail over his
face, that the children of Israel could not
stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:

face to
face,

endured a great conflict in the
face of suffering.
For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a

For
anyone who hears the word but does not carry it out is like a man who looks at his
face in a mirror,
For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
