Berean Standard Bible BSB Bible
Every man of the children of Israel shall pitch by his own standard, with the
ensign of their
father’s house: far off about the tabernacle of the congregation shall they pitch.
“The Israelites are to camp around the Tent of Meeting at a distance from it, each man under his standard, with the banners of his family.
These are those which were numbered of the children of Israel by the house of their fathers: all those that were numbered of the camps throughout their hosts were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.
These are the Israelites, numbered according to their families. The total of those counted in the camps, by their divisions, was 603,550.
And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses: so they pitched by their standards, and so they set forward, every one after their families, according to the house of their fathers.
So the Israelites did everything the LORD commanded Moses; they camped under their standards in this way and set out in the same way, each man with his clan and his family.
And
Nadab and
Abihu died before the LORD, when they offered strange fire before the LORD, in the wilderness of
Sinai, and they had no children: and
Eleazar and
Ithamar ministered in the priest’s office in the sight of Aaron their
father.
Nadab and
Abihu, however, died in the presence of the LORD when they offered unauthorized fire before the LORD in the Wilderness of
Sinai. And since they had no sons, only
Eleazar and
Ithamar served as priests during the lifetime of their
father Aaron.
Number the children of Levi after the house of their fathers, by their families: every male from a month old and upward shalt thou number them.
“Number the Levites by their families and clans. You are to count every male a month old or more.”
And the sons of Merari by their families; Mahli, and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to the house of their fathers.
And the sons of Merari by their clans were Mahli and Mushi. These were the clans of the Levites, according to their families.
And the chief of the house of the father of the Gershonites shall be Eliasaph the son of Lael.
and the leader of the families of the Gershonites was Eliasaph son of Lael.
And the chief of the house of the father of the families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.
and the leader of the families of the Kohathites was Elizaphan son of Uzziel.
And the chief of the house of the father of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail: these shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle northward.
The leader of the families of the Merarites was Zuriel son of Abihail; they were to camp on the north side of the tabernacle.
Take the sum of the sons of
Kohath from among the sons of Levi, after their families, by the house of their
fathers,
“Take a census of the Kohathites among the Levites by their clans and families,
Take also the sum of the sons of Gershon, throughout the houses of their fathers, by their families;
“Take a census of the Gershonites as well, by their families and clans,
As for the sons of Merari, thou shalt number them after their families, by the house of their fathers;
As for the sons of Merari, you are to number them by their clans and families,
And Moses and Aaron and the chief of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites after their families, and after the house of their fathers,
So Moses, Aaron, and the leaders of the congregation numbered the Kohathites by their clans and families,
And those that were numbered of the sons of Gershon, throughout their families, and by the house of their fathers,
Then the Gershonites were numbered by their clans and families,
Even those that were numbered of them, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers, were two thousand and six hundred and thirty.
And those numbered by their clans and families totaled 2,630.
And those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers,
And the Merarites were numbered by their clans and families,
All those that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the chief of Israel numbered, after their families, and after the house of their fathers,
So Moses, Aaron, and the leaders of Israel numbered by their clans and families all the Levites
He shall not make himself unclean for his
father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister, when they die: because the
consecration of his God is upon his head.
Even if his
father or mother or brother or sister should die, he is not to
defile himself, because the crown of
consecration to his God is upon his head.
That the princes of Israel, heads of the house of their fathers, who were the princes of the tribes, and were over them that were numbered, offered:
And the leaders of Israel, the heads of their families, presented an offering. These men were the
tribal leaders who had
supervised the
registration.
And Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses’ father in law, We are journeying unto the place of which the LORD said, I will give it you: come thou with us, and we will do thee good: for the LORD hath spoken good concerning Israel.
Then Moses said to Hobab, the son of Moses’ father-in-law Reuel the Midianite, “We are setting out for the place of which the LORD said: ‘I will give it to you.’ Come with us, and we will treat you well, for the LORD has promised good things to Israel.”
Have I conceived all this people? have I
begotten them, that thou shouldest say unto me, Carry them in thy
bosom, as a
nursing father beareth the
sucking child, unto the land which thou swarest unto their
fathers?
Did I conceive all these people? Did I give them birth, so that You should tell me, ‘Carry them in your
bosom, as a
nurse carries an infant,’ to the land that You
swore to give their
fathers?
And the LORD said unto Moses, If her
father had but
spit in her face, should she not be
ashamed seven days? let her be shut out from the camp seven days, and after that let her be received in again.
But the LORD answered Moses, “If her
father had but
spit in her face, would she not have been in disgrace for seven days? Let her be confined outside the camp for seven days; after that she may be brought back in.”
Send thou men, that they may search the land of
Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel: of every tribe of their
fathers shall ye send a man, every one a ruler among them.
“Send out for
yourself men to
spy out the land of
Canaan, which I am giving to the Israelites. From each of their
fathers’ tribes send one man who is a leader among them.”
The LORD is
longsuffering, and of great mercy,
forgiving iniquity and
transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the
fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.
‘The LORD is slow to anger and abounding in loving devotion,
forgiving iniquity and
transgression. Yet He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished; He will visit the iniquity of the
fathers upon their children to the third and fourth generation.’
Surely they shall not see the land which I
sware unto their
fathers, neither shall any of them that
provoked me see it:
not one will ever see the land that I
swore to give their
fathers. None of those who have treated Me with contempt will see it.
Speak unto the children of Israel, and take of every one of them a rod according to the house of their fathers, of all their princes according to the house of their fathers twelve rods: write thou every man’s name upon his rod.
“Speak to the Israelites and take from them twelve staffs, one from the leader of each tribe. Write each man’s name on his staff,
And thou shalt write Aaron’s name upon the rod of Levi: for one rod shall be for the head of the house of their fathers.
and write Aaron’s name on the staff of Levi, because there must be one staff for the head of each tribe.
And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, and every one of their princes gave him a rod
apiece, for each prince one, according to their
fathers’ houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was among their rods.
So Moses spoke to the Israelites, and each of their leaders gave him a staff—one for each of the leaders of their tribes, twelve staffs in all. And Aaron’s staff was among them.
And the LORD said unto Aaron, Thou and thy sons and thy father’s house with thee shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary: and thou and thy sons with thee shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood.
So the LORD said to Aaron, “You and your sons and your father’s house must bear the iniquity involving the sanctuary. And you and your sons alone must bear the iniquity involving your priesthood.
And thy brethren also of the tribe of Levi, the tribe of thy father, bring thou with thee, that they may be joined unto thee, and minister unto thee: but thou and thy sons with thee shall minister before the tabernacle of witness.
But bring with you also your brothers from the tribe of Levi, the tribe of your father, that they may join you and assist you and your sons before the Tent of the Testimony.
How our
fathers went down into Egypt, and we have dwelt in Egypt a long time; and the Egyptians
vexed us, and our
fathers:
how our fathers went down to Egypt, where we lived many years. The Egyptians mistreated us and our fathers,
Take the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, throughout their fathers’ house, all that are able to go to war in Israel.
“Take a census of the whole congregation of Israel by the houses of their fathers—all those twenty years of age or older who can serve in the army of Israel.”
Of the sons of
Manasseh: of Machir, the family of the Machirites: and Machir
begat Gilead: of
Gilead come the family of the Gileadites.
These were the descendants of
Manasseh: The Machirite clan from Machir, the
father of
Gilead, and the Gileadite clan from
Gilead.
Notwithstanding the land shall be divided by lot: according to the names of the tribes of their
fathers they shall
inherit.
Indeed, the land must be divided by lot; they shall receive their inheritance according to the names of the tribes of their fathers.
These are the families of the Levites: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, the family of the Korathites. And
Kohath begat Amram.
These were the families of the Levites: The Libnite clan, the Hebronite clan, the Mahlite clan, the Mushite clan, and the Korahite clan. Now
Kohath was the
father of Amram,
Our
father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the company of them that gathered themselves together against the LORD in the company of
Korah; but died in his own sin, and had no sons.
“Our
father died in the wilderness, but he was not among the followers of
Korah who gathered together against the LORD. Instead, he died because of his own sin, and he had no sons.
Why should the name of our father be done away from among his family, because he hath no son? Give unto us therefore a possession among the brethren of our father.
Why should the name of our father disappear from his clan because he had no sons? Give us property among our father’s brothers.”
The daughters of Zelophehad speak right: thou shalt surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father’s brethren; and thou shalt cause the inheritance of their father to pass unto them.
“The daughters of Zelophehad speak correctly. You certainly must give them property as an inheritance among their father’s brothers, and transfer their father’s inheritance to them.
And if he have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his father’s brethren.
If he has no brothers, give his inheritance to his father’s brothers.
And if his
father have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his
kinsman that is next to him of his family, and he shall possess it: and it shall be unto the children of Israel a statute of judgment, as the LORD commanded Moses.
And if his
father has no brothers, give his inheritance to the next of
kin from his clan, that he may take possession of it. This is to be a
statutory ordinance for the Israelites, as the LORD has commanded Moses.’”
If a woman also
vow a
vow unto the LORD, and bind herself by a bond, being in her
father’s house in her youth;
And if a woman in her
father’s house during her youth makes a
vow to the LORD or obligates herself by a
pledge,
And her
father hear her
vow, and her bond
wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her
father shall hold his peace at her: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond
wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.
and her
father hears about her
vow or
pledge but says nothing to her, then all the vows or pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand.
But if her
father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds
wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the LORD shall
forgive her, because her
father disallowed her.
But if her
father prohibits her on the day he hears about it, then none of the vows or pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand. The LORD will
absolve her because her
father has prohibited her.
These are the statutes, which the LORD commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth in her father’s house.
These are the statutes that the LORD commanded Moses concerning the relationship between a man and his wife, and between a father and a young daughter still in his home.
Take the sum of the prey that was taken, both of man and of beast, thou, and
Eleazar the priest, and the chief
fathers of the congregation:
“You and
Eleazar the priest and the family heads of the congregation are to take a count of what was captured, both of man and beast.
Thus did your fathers, when I sent them from Kadesh-barnea to see the land.
This is what your
fathers did when I sent them from Kadesh-barnea to
inspect the land.
For when they went up unto the valley of
Eshcol, and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, that they should not go into the land which the LORD had given them.
For when your
fathers went up to the Valley of
Eshcol and saw the land, they discouraged the Israelites from entering the land that the LORD had given them.
And, behold, ye are risen up in your
fathers’
stead, an increase of sinful men, to
augment yet the fierce anger of the LORD toward Israel.
Now behold, you, a
brood of sinners, have risen up in place of your
fathers to further
stoke the burning anger of the LORD against Israel.
So concerning them Moses commanded
Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of
Nun, and the chief
fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel:
So Moses gave orders about them to
Eleazar the priest, to Joshua son of
Nun, and to the family leaders of the tribes of Israel.
And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man’s inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your
fathers ye shall
inherit.
And you are to divide the land by lot according to your clans. Give a larger inheritance to a larger clan and a smaller inheritance to a smaller one. Whatever falls to each one by lot will be his. You will receive an inheritance according to the tribes of your fathers.
For the tribe of the children of
Reuben according to the house of their
fathers, and the tribe of the children of
Gad according to the house of their
fathers, have received their inheritance; and half the tribe of
Manasseh have received their inheritance:
For the tribes of the Reubenites and Gadites, along with the half-tribe of
Manasseh, have already received their inheritance.
And the chief
fathers of the families of the children of
Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of
Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near, and spake before Moses, and before the princes, the chief
fathers of the children of Israel:
Now the family heads of the clan of
Gilead son of Machir son of
Manasseh, one of the clans of Joseph, approached Moses and the leaders who were the heads of the
Israelite families and addressed them,
And if they be married to any of the sons of the other tribes of the children of Israel, then shall their inheritance be taken from the inheritance of our
fathers, and shall be put to the inheritance of the tribe
whereunto they are received: so shall it be taken from the lot of our inheritance.
But if they marry any of the men from the other tribes of Israel, their inheritance will be withdrawn from the portion of our
fathers and added to the tribe into which they marry. So our
allotted inheritance would be taken away.
And when the jubile of the children of Israel shall be, then shall their inheritance be put unto the inheritance of the tribe
whereunto they are received: so shall their inheritance be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our
fathers.
And when the
Jubilee for the Israelites comes, their inheritance will be added to the tribe into which they marry and taken away from the tribe of our
fathers.”
This is the thing which the LORD
doth command concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, Let them marry to whom they think best; only to the family of the tribe of their
father shall they marry.
This is what the LORD has commanded concerning the daughters of Zelophehad: They may marry
anyone they please, provided they marry within a clan of the tribe of their
father.
So shall not the inheritance of the children of Israel remove from tribe to tribe: for every one of the children of Israel shall keep himself to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.
No inheritance in Israel may be transferred from tribe to tribe, because each of the Israelites is to retain the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.
And every daughter, that possesseth an inheritance in any tribe of the children of Israel, shall be wife unto one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel may enjoy every man the inheritance of his fathers.
Every daughter who possesses an inheritance from any
Israelite tribe must marry within a clan of the tribe of her
father, so that every
Israelite will possess the inheritance of his
fathers.
For Mahlah, Tirzah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and
Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, were married unto their
father’s brothers’ sons:
Mahlah, Tirzah, Hoglah, Milcah, and
Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, were married to cousins on their
father’s side.
And they were married into the families of the sons of
Manasseh the son of Joseph, and their inheritance remained in the tribe of the family of their
father.
They married within the clans of the descendants of
Manasseh son of Joseph, and their inheritance remained within the tribe of their
father’s clan.
Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the LORD
sware unto your
fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them.
See, I have placed the land before you. Enter and possess the land that the LORD
swore He would give to your
fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and to their descendants after them.”
(The LORD God of your
fathers make you a thousand times so many more as ye are, and
bless you, as he hath promised you!)
May the LORD, the God of your
fathers, increase you a thousand times over and
bless you as He has promised.
Behold, the LORD thy God hath set the land before thee: go up and possess it, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath said unto thee; fear not, neither be discouraged.
See, the LORD your God has placed the land before you. Go up and take possession of it as the LORD, the God of your fathers, has told you. Do not be afraid or discouraged.”
Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see that good land, which I
sware to give unto your
fathers,
“Not one of the men of this evil generation shall see the good land I
swore to give your
fathers,
Now therefore
hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your
fathers giveth you.
Hear now, O Israel, the statutes and ordinances I am teaching you to follow, so that you may live and may enter and take possession of the land that the LORD, the God of your fathers, is giving you.
(For the LORD thy God is a
merciful God;) he will not
forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor
forget the covenant of thy
fathers which he
sware unto them.
For the LORD your God is a
merciful God; He will not
abandon you or destroy you or
forget the covenant with your
fathers, which He
swore to them by oath.
And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt;
Because He loved your fathers, He chose their descendants after them and brought you out of Egypt by His presence and great power,
The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.
He did not make this covenant with our
fathers, but with all of us who are alive here
today.
Thou shalt not bow down
thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a
jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the
fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that
hate me,
You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a
jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the
fathers on their children to the third and fourth generations of those who
hate Me,
Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you, so that your days may be long and that it may go well with you in the land that the LORD your God is giving you.
Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase
mightily, as the LORD God of thy
fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.
Hear, O Israel, and be careful to observe them, so that you may
prosper and multiply greatly in a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your
fathers, has promised you.
And it shall be, when the LORD thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he
sware unto thy
fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not,
And when the LORD your God brings you into the land He
swore to your
fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, that He would give you—a land with great and splendid cities that you did not build,
And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of the LORD: that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which the LORD
sware unto thy
fathers,
Do what is right and good in the sight of the LORD, so that it may be well with you and that you may enter and possess the good land that the LORD your God
swore to give your
fathers,
And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he
sware unto our
fathers.
But He brought us out from there to lead us in and give us the land that He had
sworn to our
fathers.
But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had
sworn unto your
fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of
bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
But because the LORD loved you and kept the oath He
swore to your
fathers, He brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye
hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he
sware unto thy
fathers:
If you
listen to these ordinances and keep them carefully, then the LORD your God will keep His covenant and the loving devotion that He
swore to your
fathers.
And he will love thee, and
bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also
bless the fruit of thy
womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy
kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he
sware unto thy
fathers to give thee.
He will love you and
bless you and multiply you. He will
bless the fruit of your
womb and the produce of your land—your grain, new wine, and oil, the young of your herds and the lambs of your flocks—in the land that He
swore to your
fathers to give you.
All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD
sware unto your
fathers.
You must carefully follow every commandment I am giving you
today, so that you may live and multiply, and enter and possess the land that the LORD
swore to give your
fathers.
And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with
manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy
fathers know; that he might make thee know that man
doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD
doth man live.
He humbled you, and in your hunger He gave you
manna to eat, which neither you nor your
fathers had known, so that you might understand that man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.
Who fed thee in the wilderness with
manna, which thy
fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;
He fed you in the wilderness with
manna that your
fathers had not known, in order to humble you and test you, so that in the end He might cause you to
prosper.
But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he
sware unto thy
fathers, as it is this day.
But remember that it is the LORD your God who gives you the power to gain wealth, in order to
confirm His covenant that He
swore to your
fathers even to this day.
Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart,
dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD thy God
doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which the LORD
sware unto thy
fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
It is not because of your righteousness or uprightness of heart that you are going in to possess their land, but it is because of their wickedness that the LORD your God is driving out these nations before you, to keep the promise He
swore to your
fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
And the LORD said unto me, Arise, take thy journey before the people, that they may go in and possess the land, which I
sware unto their
fathers to give unto them.
Then the LORD said to me, “Get up. Continue your journey
ahead of the people, that they may enter and possess the land that I
swore to their
fathers to give them.”
Only the LORD had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.
Yet the LORD has set His affection on your fathers and loved them. And He has chosen you, their descendants after them, above all the peoples, even to this day.
He
doth execute the judgment of the
fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and
raiment.
He executes justice for the fatherless and widow, and He loves the foreigner, giving him food and clothing.
Thy
fathers went down into Egypt with
threescore and ten persons; and now the LORD thy God hath made thee as the stars of heaven for multitude.
Your fathers went down to Egypt, seventy in all, and now the LORD your God has made you as numerous as the stars in the sky.
And that ye may
prolong your days in the land, which the LORD
sware unto your
fathers to give unto them and to their seed, a land that floweth with milk and honey.
and so that you may live long in the land that the LORD
swore to your
fathers to give them and their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey.
That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD
sware unto your
fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.
so that as long as the heavens are above the earth, your days and those of your children may be multiplied in the land that the LORD
swore to give your
fathers.
These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth.
These are the statutes and ordinances you must be careful to follow all the days you live in the land that the LORD, the God of your fathers, has given you to possess.
If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy
bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul,
entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy
fathers;
If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you embrace, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (which neither you nor your fathers have known,
And there shall
cleave nought of the
cursed thing to thine hand: that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and
shew thee mercy, and have
compassion upon thee, and multiply thee, as he hath
sworn unto thy
fathers;
Nothing devoted to destruction shall
cling to your hands, so that the LORD will turn from His fierce anger, grant you mercy, show you
compassion, and multiply you as He
swore to your
fathers,
And the
Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee,) and the stranger, and the
fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the LORD thy God may
bless thee in all the work of thine hand which thou doest.
Then the
Levite (because he has no portion or inheritance among you), the foreigner, the
fatherless, and the widow within your gates may come and eat and be satisfied. And the LORD your God will
bless you in all the work of your hands.
And thou shalt
rejoice before the LORD thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy
manservant, and thy
maidservant, and the
Levite that is within thy gates, and the stranger, and the
fatherless, and the widow, that are among you, in the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to place his name there.
and you shall
rejoice before the LORD your God in the place He will choose as a dwelling for His Name—you, your sons and daughters, your menservants and maidservants, and the
Levite within your gates, as well as the foreigner, the
fatherless, and the widows among you.
And thou shalt
rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy
manservant, and thy
maidservant, and the
Levite, the stranger, and the
fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gates.
And you shall
rejoice in your feast—you, your sons and daughters, your menservants and maidservants, and the
Levite, as well as the foreigner, the
fatherless, and the widows among you.
They shall have like portions to eat, beside that which cometh of the sale of his
patrimony.
They shall eat equal portions, even though he has received money from the sale of his father’s estate.
And if the LORD thy God
enlarge thy coast, as he hath
sworn unto thy
fathers, and give thee all the land which he promised to give unto thy
fathers;
And if the LORD your God enlarges your territory, as He
swore to your
fathers, and gives you all the land He promised them,
And she shall put the
raiment of her captivity from off her, and shall remain in thine house, and
