All the best of the oil, and all the best of the wine, and of the wheat, the firstfruits of them which they shall offer unto the LORD, them have I given thee.

But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have
sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will
find you out.
But if you do not do this, you will certainly sin against the LORD—and be
assured that your sin will
find you out.
The
revenger of blood himself shall
slay the murderer: when he meeteth him, he shall
slay him.
The
avenger of blood is to put the murderer to death; when he
finds him, he is to kill him.
Or in
enmity smite him with his hand, that he die: he that
smote him shall surely be put to death; for he is a murderer: the
revenger of blood shall
slay the murderer, when he meeteth him.
or if in hostility he strikes him with his hand and he dies, the one who struck him must surely be put to death; he is a murderer. When the
avenger of blood
finds the murderer, he is to kill him.
And the
revenger of blood
find him without the borders of the city of his refuge, and the
revenger of blood kill the
slayer; he shall not be guilty of blood:
and the
avenger of blood
finds him outside of his city of refuge and kills him, then the
avenger will not be guilty of
bloodshed But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
But if from there you will seek the LORD your God, you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein;
Otherwise, when you eat and are satisfied, when you build fine houses in which to dwell,
And the LORD delivered unto me two tables of stone written with the finger of God; and on them was written according to all the words, which the LORD spake with you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly.
Then the LORD gave me the two stone tablets, inscribed by the finger of God with the exact words that the LORD spoke to you out of the fire on the mountain on the day of the assembly.
And I took your sin, the
calf which ye had made, and burnt it with fire, and stamped it, and ground it very small, even until it was as small as dust: and I cast the dust thereof into the
brook that descended out of the mount.
And I took that sinful thing, the
calf you had made, and burned it in the fire. Then I
crushed it and ground it to powder as
fine as dust, and I cast it into the stream that came down from the mountain.
Thou shalt not
hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
you must not
listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. For the LORD your God is testing you to
find out whether you love Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat:
Of all the creatures that live in the water, you may eat anything with fins and scales,
And
whatsoever hath not
fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you.
but you may not eat anything that does not have fins and scales; it is unclean for you.
And it shall be, when the officers have made an end of speaking unto the people, that they shall make captains of the armies to lead the people.
When the officers have
finished addressing the army, they are to
appoint commanders to lead it.
And they shall
amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the
damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days.
They are also to
fine him a hundred shekels of silver and give them to the young woman’s father, because this man has given a virgin of Israel a bad name. And she shall remain his wife; he must not
divorce her as long as he lives.
If a
damsel that is a virgin be
betrothed unto an husband, and a man
find her in the city, and lie with her;
If there is a virgin
pledged in marriage to a man, and another man encounters her in the city and sleeps with her,
But if a man
find a
betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die:
But if the man encounters a
betrothed woman in the open country, and he overpowers her and lies with her, only the man who has done this must die.
If a man
find a
damsel that is a virgin, which is not
betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;
If a man encounters a virgin who is not
pledged in marriage, and he seizes her and lies with her, and they are discovered,
When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she
find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of
divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.
If a man marries a woman, but she becomes displeasing to him because he
finds some
indecency in her, he may write her a
certificate of
divorce, hand it to her, and send her away from his house.
When thou hast made an end of
tithing all the
tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of
tithing, and hast given it unto the
Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled;
When you have
finished laying aside a tenth of all your produce in the third year, the year of the
tithe, you are to give it to the
Levite, the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat and be filled within your gates.
And among these nations shalt thou
find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a
trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind:
Among those nations you will
find no
repose, not even a resting place for the sole of your foot. There the LORD will give you a
trembling heart, failing eyes, and a
despairing soul.
And Moses went and spake these words unto all Israel.
When Moses had finished speaking these words to all Israel,
And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished,
When Moses had finished writing in a book the words of this law from beginning to end,
Butter of
kine, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of
Bashan, and goats, with the fat of
kidneys of wheat; and thou
didst drink the pure blood of the
grape.
with curds from the
herd and milk from the flock, with the fat of lambs, with rams from
Bashan, and goats, with the choicest grains of wheat. From the juice of the
finest grapes you
drank the wine.
And Moses made an end of speaking all these words to all Israel:
When Moses had
finished reciting all these words to all Israel,
And she said unto them, Get you to the mountain, lest the pursuers meet you; and hide
yourselves there three days, until the pursuers be returned: and afterward may ye go your way.
“Go to the hill country,” she said, “so that your pursuers will not
find you. Hide
yourselves there for three days until they have returned; then go on your way.”
And they went, and came unto the mountain, and abode there three days, until the pursuers were returned: and the pursuers sought them throughout all the way, but found them not.
So the
spies went out into the hill country and stayed there three days, until their pursuers had returned without
finding them, having searched all along the road.
And it came to pass, when all the people were clean passed over Jordan, that the LORD spake unto Joshua, saying,
When the whole nation had finished crossing the Jordan, the LORD said to Joshua,
For the priests which bare the ark stood in the midst of Jordan, until every thing was finished that the LORD commanded Joshua to speak unto the people, according to all that Moses commanded Joshua: and the people hasted and passed over.
Now the priests who carried the ark remained standing in the middle of the Jordan until the people had completed everything the LORD had commanded Joshua to tell them, just as Moses had directed Joshua. The people
hurried across,
And it came to pass, when all the people were clean passed over, that the ark of the LORD passed over, and the priests, in the presence of the people.
and after
everyone had
finished crossing, the priests with the ark of the LORD crossed in the sight of the people.
And it came to pass, when Israel had made an end of
slaying all the inhabitants of
Ai in the field, in the wilderness wherein they
chased them, and when they were all fallen on the edge of the sword, until they were consumed, that all the Israelites returned unto
Ai, and
smote it with the edge of the sword.
When Israel had
finished killing all the men of
Ai who had pursued them into the field and wilderness, and when every last one of them had fallen by the sword, all the Israelites returned to
Ai and put it to the sword as well.
