Now to
Enoch was born Irad, and Irad was the father of Mehujael, and Mehujael was the father of Methusael, and Methusael was the father of
Lamech.
And
Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other
Zillah.
And
Lamech married two women, one named Adah and the other
Zillah.
And
Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and
Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of
Lamech,
hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my
hurt.
Then
Lamech said to his wives: “Adah and
Zillah, hear my voice; wives of
Lamech,
listen to my speech. For I have slain a man for wounding me, a young man for striking me.
And after he had become the father of
Lamech,
Methuselah lived 782 years and had other sons and daughters.
And
Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and
begat a son:
When
Lamech was 182 years old, he had a son.
And after he had become the father of
Noah,
Lamech lived 595 years and had other sons and daughters.
And all the days of
Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.

And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.
When the sun had set and darkness had fallen, behold, a smoking
firepot and a flaming
torch appeared and passed between the
halves of the
carcasses.
And Abraham set seven
ewe lambs of the flock by themselves.
Abraham separated seven
ewe lambs from the flock,
And
Abimelech said unto Abraham, What mean these seven
ewe lambs which thou hast set by themselves?
and
Abimelech asked him, “Why have you set apart these seven
ewe lambs?”
And he said, For these seven
ewe lambs shalt thou take of my hand, that they may be a witness unto me, that I have
digged this well.
He replied, “You are to accept the seven
ewe lambs from my hand as my witness that I
dug this well.”
And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?
Then Isaac said to his father Abraham, “My father!” “Here I am, my son,” he replied. “The fire and the wood are here,” said Isaac, “but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?”
And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

I will pass through all thy flock to day, removing from thence all the
speckled and
spotted cattle, and all the brown cattle among the sheep, and the
spotted and
speckled among the goats: and of such shall be my
hire.
Let me go through all your flocks
today and remove from them every
speckled or
spotted sheep, every dark-colored
lamb, and every
spotted or
speckled goat. These will be my wages.
So shall my righteousness answer for me in time to come, when it shall come for my
hire before thy face: every one that is not
speckled and
spotted among the goats, and brown among the sheep, that shall be counted
stolen with me.
So my
honesty will
testify for me when you come to check on my wages in the future. If I have any goats that are not
speckled or
spotted, or any
lambs that are not dark-colored, they will be considered
stolen.”
And he removed that day the he goats that were
ringstraked and
spotted, and all the she goats that were
speckled and
spotted, and every one that had some white in it, and all the brown among the sheep, and gave them into the hand of his sons.
That very day
Laban removed all the
streaked or
spotted male goats and every
speckled or
spotted female goat—every one that had any white on it—and every dark-colored
lamb, and he placed them under the care of his sons.
And Jacob did separate the
lambs, and set the faces of the flocks toward the
ringstraked, and all the brown in the flock of
Laban; and he put his own flocks by themselves, and put them not unto
Laban’s cattle.
Jacob set apart the young, but made the rest face the
streaked dark-colored sheep in
Laban’s flocks. Then he set his own stock apart and did not put them with
Laban’s animals.
And they came to the threshingfloor of Atad, which is beyond Jordan, and there they
mourned with a great and very
sore lamentation: and he made a
mourning for his father seven days.

threshing floor of Atad, which is across the Jordan, they
lamented and
wailed loudly, and Joseph
mourned for his father seven days.
Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:
Tell the whole congregation of Israel that on the tenth day of this month each man must select a lamb for his family, one per household.
And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.
If the household is too small for a whole
lamb, they are to share with the nearest
neighbor based on the number of people, and
apportion the
lamb accordingly.
Your
lamb shall be without
blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:
Your
lamb must be an
unblemished year-old male, and you may take it from the sheep or the goats.
And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.
They are to take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses where they eat the lambs.
Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a
lamb according to your families, and kill the
passover.

yourselves a
lamb for each family, and slaughter the
Passover lamb.
And thou shalt make a
candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the
candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his
bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same.
Then you are to make a lampstand of pure, hammered gold. It shall be made of one piece, including its base and shaft, its cups, and its buds and petals.
And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the
candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the
candlestick out of the other side:
Six branches are to extend from the sides of the lampstand—three on one side and three on the other.
Three
bowls made like unto almonds, with a
knop and a flower in one branch; and three
bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a
knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the
candlestick.
There are to be three cups shaped like
almond blossoms on the first branch, each with buds and petals, three on the next branch, and the same for all six branches that extend from the
lampstand.
And in the
candlestick shall be four
bowls made like unto almonds, with their knops and their flowers.
And on the
lampstand there shall be four cups shaped like
almond blossoms with buds and petals.
And there shall be a
knop under two branches of the same, and a
knop under two branches of the same, and a
knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches that proceed out of the
candlestick.
For the six branches that extend from the
lampstand, a
bud must be under the first pair of branches, a
bud under the second pair, and a
bud under the third pair.
Their knops and their branches shall be of the same: all it shall be one beaten work of pure gold.
The buds and branches are to be all of one piece with the lampstand, hammered out of pure gold.
And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may give light over against it.
Make seven
lamps and set them up on the
lampstand so that they
illuminate the area in front of it.
Of a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels.
The lampstand and all these utensils shall be made from a talent of pure gold.
And thou shalt set the table without the
vail, and the
candlestick over against the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south: and thou shalt put the table on the north side.
And place the table outside the
veil on the north side of the tabernacle, and put the
lampstand opposite the table, on the south side.
And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn always.
And you are to command the Israelites to bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to keep the lamps burning continually.
In the tabernacle of the congregation without the
vail, which is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall order it from evening to morning before the LORD: it shall be a statute for ever unto their generations on the behalf of the children of Israel.
In the Tent of Meeting, outside the
veil that is in front of the Testimony, Aaron and his sons are to tend the
lamps before the LORD from evening until morning. This is to be a permanent statute for the Israelites for the generations to come.
Now this is that which thou shalt offer upon the altar; two lambs of the first year day by day continually.
This is what you are to offer regularly on the altar, each day: two lambs that are a year old.
The one lamb thou shalt offer in the morning; and the other lamb thou shalt offer at even:
Offer one
lamb in the morning and the other at
twilight.
And with the one
lamb a tenth deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an
hin of beaten oil; and the fourth part of an
hin of wine for a drink offering.
With the first
lamb offer a tenth of an
ephah of fine flour, mixed with a quarter
hin of oil from pressed olives, and a drink offering of a quarter
hin of wine.
And the other
lamb thou shalt offer at even, and shalt do
thereto according to the meat offering of the morning, and according to the drink offering thereof, for a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
And offer the second
lamb at
twilight with the same grain offering and drink offering as in the morning, as a pleasing
aroma, an offering made by fire to the LORD.
And Aaron shall burn
thereon sweet incense every morning: when he dresseth the
lamps, he shall burn incense upon it.
And Aaron is to burn
fragrant incense on it every morning when he tends the
lamps.
And when Aaron lighteth the lamps at even, he shall burn incense upon it, a perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your generations.
When Aaron sets up the
lamps at
twilight, he must burn the incense perpetually before the LORD for the generations to come.
And the table and all his vessels, and the
candlestick and his vessels, and the altar of incense,
the table and all its utensils, the lampstand and its utensils, the altar of incense,
And the table and his furniture, and the pure
candlestick with all his furniture, and the altar of incense,
the table with its utensils, the pure gold lampstand with all its utensils, the altar of incense,
But the
firstling of an
ass thou shalt
redeem with a
lamb: and if thou
redeem him not, then shalt thou break his neck. All the
firstborn of thy sons thou shalt
redeem. And none shall appear before me empty.
The
candlestick also for the light, and his furniture, and his
lamps, with the oil for the light,
the
lampstand for light with its
accessories and
lamps and oil for the light;
And he made the
candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work made he the
candlestick; his shaft, and his branch, his
bowls, his knops, and his flowers, were of the same:
Then he made the lampstand out of pure hammered gold, all of one piece: its base and shaft, its cups, and its buds and petals.
Three
bowls made after the fashion of almonds in one branch, a
knop and a flower; and three
bowls made like almonds in another branch, a
knop and a flower: so throughout the six branches going out of the
candlestick.
There were three cups shaped like
almond blossoms on the first branch, each with buds and petals, three on the next branch, and the same for all six branches that extended from the
lampstand.
And in the
candlestick were four
bowls made like almonds, his knops, and his flowers:
And on the
lampstand were four cups shaped like
almond blossoms with buds and petals.
And a
knop under two branches of the same, and a
knop under two branches of the same, and a
knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches going out of it.
A
bud was under the first pair of branches that extended from the
lampstand, a
bud under the second pair, and a
bud under the third pair.
Their knops and their branches were of the same: all of it was one beaten work of pure gold.
The buds and branches were all of one piece with the lampstand, hammered out of pure gold.
And he made his seven
lamps, and his
snuffers, and his snuffdishes, of pure gold.
He also made its seven
lamps, its
wick trimmers, and
trays of pure gold.
Of a talent of pure gold made he it, and all the vessels thereof.
He made the lampstand and all its utensils from a talent of pure gold.
The pure
candlestick, with the
lamps thereof, even with the
lamps to be set in order, and all the vessels thereof, and the oil for light,
the pure gold lampstand with its row of lamps and all its utensils, as well as the oil for the light;
And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the
candlestick, and light the
lamps thereof.
Then bring in the table and set out its arrangement; bring in the lampstand as well, and set up its lamps.
And he put the
candlestick in the tent of the congregation, over against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.
He also placed the lampstand in the Tent of Meeting opposite the table on the south side of the tabernacle
And he lighted the lamps before the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.
and set up the lamps before the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded him.
If he offer a lamb for his offering, then shall he offer it before the LORD.
If he is presenting a lamb for his offering, he must present it before the LORD.
And if he bring a
lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a female without
blemish.
If, however, he brings a
lamb as a sin offering, he must bring an
unblemished female.
And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the
lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: and the priest shall make an
atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be
forgiven him.
And he shall remove all the fat, just as the fat of the
lamb is removed from the peace offerings, and he shall burn it on the altar along with the offerings made by fire to the LORD. In this way the priest will make
atonement for him for the sin he has committed, and he will be
forgiven.
And he shall bring his
trespass offering unto the LORD for his sin which he hath
sinned, a female from the flock, a
lamb or a
kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an
atonement for him concerning his sin.
and he must bring his guilt offering to the LORD for the sin he has committed: a female
lamb or goat from the flock as a sin offering. And the priest will make
atonement for him concerning his sin.
And if he be not able to bring a
lamb, then he shall bring for his
trespass, which he hath committed, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, unto the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering.
If, however, he cannot afford a
lamb, he may bring to the LORD as
restitution for his sin two turtledoves or two young pigeons—one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering.
And unto the children of Israel thou shalt speak, saying, Take ye a
kid of the goats for a sin offering; and a
calf and a
lamb, both of the first year, without
blemish, for a burnt offering;
Then speak to the Israelites and say, ‘Take a male goat for a sin offering, a
calf and a
lamb—both a year old and without
blemish—for a burnt offering,
And when the days of her
purifying are fulfilled, for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring a
lamb of the first year for a burnt offering, and a young
pigeon, or a
turtledove, for a sin offering, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest:
When the days of her
purification are complete, whether for a son or for a daughter, she is to bring to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting a year-old
lamb for a burnt offering and a young
pigeon or a
turtledove for a sin offering.
And if she be not able to bring a
lamb, then she shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons; the one for the burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make an
atonement for her, and she shall be clean.
But if she cannot afford a
lamb, she shall bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons, one for a burnt offering and the other for a sin offering. Then the priest will make
atonement for her, and she will be clean.’”
And on the eighth day he shall take two he
lambs without
blemish, and one
ewe lamb of the first year without
blemish, and three tenth deals of fine flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.
On the eighth day he is to bring two
unblemished male
lambs, an
unblemished ewe lamb a year old, a grain offering of three-tenths of an
ephah of fine flour mixed with olive oil, and one log of olive oil.
And the priest shall take one he
lamb, and offer him for a
trespass offering, and the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before the LORD:
Then the priest is to take one of the male lambs and present it as a guilt offering, along with the log of olive oil; and he must wave them as a wave offering before the LORD.
And he shall
slay the
lamb in the place where he shall kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the holy place: for as the sin offering is the priest’s, so is the
trespass offering: it is most holy:
Then he is to slaughter the lamb in the sanctuary area where the sin offering and burnt offering are slaughtered. Like the sin offering, the guilt offering belongs to the priest; it is most holy.
And if he be poor, and cannot get so much; then he shall take one
lamb for a
trespass offering to be waved, to make an
atonement for him, and one tenth deal of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering, and a log of oil;
If, however, the person is poor and cannot afford these offerings, he is to take one male
lamb as a guilt offering to be waved to make
atonement for him, along with a tenth of an
ephah of fine flour mixed with olive oil for a grain offering, a log of olive oil,
And the priest shall take the
lamb of the
trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD:
The priest shall take the lamb for the guilt offering, along with the log of olive oil, and wave them as a wave offering before the LORD.
And he shall kill the
lamb of the
trespass offering, and the priest shall take some of the blood of the
trespass offering, and put it upon the
tip of the right ear of him that is to be
cleansed, and upon the
thumb of his right hand, and upon the great
toe of his right foot:
And after he slaughters the
lamb for the guilt offering, the priest is to take some of the blood of the guilt offering and put it on the right earlobe of the one to be
cleansed, on the
thumb of his right hand, and on the
big toe of his right foot.
What man
soever there be of the house of Israel, that killeth an ox, or
lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that killeth it out of the camp,
‘
Anyone from the house of Israel who slaughters an ox, a
lamb, or a goat in the camp or outside of it
No man who has any defect may approach—no man who is blind,
lame, disfigured, or
deformed;
Either a
bullock or a
lamb that hath any thing
superfluous or lacking in his parts, that mayest thou offer for a
freewill offering; but for a
vow it shall not be accepted.
And ye shall offer that day when ye wave the
sheaf an he
lamb without
blemish of the first year for a burnt offering unto the LORD.
On the day you wave the
sheaf, you shall offer a year-old
lamb without
blemish as a burnt offering to the LORD,
And ye shall offer with the bread seven
lambs without
blemish of the first year, and one young
bullock, and two rams: they shall be for a burnt offering unto the LORD, with their meat offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of sweet savour unto the LORD.
Along with the bread you are to present seven
unblemished male
lambs a year old, one young bull, and two rams. They will be a burnt offering to the LORD, together with their grain offerings and drink offerings—an offering made by fire, a pleasing
aroma to the LORD.
Then ye shall sacrifice one
kid of the goats for a sin offering, and two
lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings.
You shall also prepare one male goat as a sin offering and two male lambs a year old as a peace offering.
And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the first fruits for a wave offering before the LORD, with the two lambs: they shall be holy to the LORD for the priest.
The priest is to wave the lambs as a wave offering before the LORD, together with the bread of the firstfruits. The bread and the two lambs shall be holy to the LORD for the priest.

consecrate unto the LORD the days of his separation, and shall bring a
lamb of the first year for a
trespass offering: but the days that were before shall be lost, because his separation was
defiled.
He must rededicate his time of separation to the LORD and bring a year-old male

defiled.
