In the four corners of the court there were courts joined of forty cubits long and thirty broad: these four corners were of one measure.
In the four corners of the outer court there were enclosed courts, each forty cubits long and thirty cubits wide. Each of the four corner areas had the same dimensions.
And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ancles.
As the man went eastward with a measuring line in his hand, he
measured off a thousand cubits and led me through
ankle-deep water.
Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins.
Then he
measured off a thousand cubits and led me through
knee-deep water. Again he
measured a thousand cubits and led me through
waist-deep water.
Afterward he
measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to
swim in, a river that could not be passed over.
Once again he
measured off a thousand cubits, but now it was a river that I could not cross, because the water had risen and was deep enough for
swimming—a river that could not be crossed on foot.
And the east side ye shall
measure from
Hauran, and from Damascus, and from
Gilead, and from the land of Israel by Jordan, from the border unto the east sea. And this is the east side.
On the east side the border will run between
Hauran and Damascus, along the Jordan between
Gilead and the land of Israel, to the Eastern Sea and as far as Tamar. This will be the eastern boundary.
And these shall be the measures thereof; the north side four thousand and five hundred, and the south side four thousand and five hundred, and on the east side four thousand and five hundred, and the west side four thousand and five hundred.
and will have these measurements: 4,500 cubits on the north side, 4,500 cubits on the south side, 4,500 cubits on the east side, and 4,500 cubits on the west side.
And these are the goings out of the city on the north side, four thousand and five hundred measures.
“These will be the exits of the city:
And at the south side four thousand and five hundred
measures: and three gates; one gate of
Simeon, one gate of
Issachar, one gate of
Zebulun.
On the south side, which will be 4,500 cubits long, there will be three gates: the gate of
Simeon, the gate of
Issachar, and the gate of
Zebulun.
It was round about eighteen thousand measures: and the name of the city from that day shall be, The LORD is there.
The

measure, an
insolent king, skilled in
intrigue, will come to the throne.
Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.
Yet the number of the Israelites will be like the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured or counted. And it will happen that in the very place where it was said to them, ‘You are not My people,’ they will be called ‘sons of the living God.’
Are there yet the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the
scant measure that is
abominable?
Can I
forget any longer, O house of the wicked, the treasures of wickedness and the short
ephah, which is
accursed?
He stood, and
measured the earth: he
beheld, and drove
asunder the nations; and the
everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways are
everlasting.
Since those days were, when one came to an
heap of twenty
measures, there were but ten: when one came to the pressfat for to draw out fifty vessels out of the press, there were but twenty.
from that time, when one came expecting a
heap of twenty ephahs of grain, there were but ten. When one came to the winepress to draw out fifty baths, there were but twenty.
Then said I,
Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To
measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.
“Where are you going?” I asked. “To measure Jerusalem,” he replied, “and to determine its width and length.”
Bring ye all the
tithes into the
storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now
herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
Bring the full
tithe into the
storehouse, so that there may be food in My house. Test Me in this,” says the LORD of Hosts. “See if I will not open the windows of heaven and pour out for you blessing without
measure.
For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what
measure ye
mete, it shall be
measured to you again.
For with the same judgment you
pronounce, you will be judged; and with the
measure you use, it will be
measured to you.
Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto
leaven, which a woman took, and
hid in three
measures of meal, till the whole was
leavened.
He told them still another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like
leaven that a woman took and mixed into three
measures of flour, until all of it was
leavened.”

Fill up, then, the measure of the sin of your fathers.
And he said unto them, Take
heed what ye hear: with what
measure ye
mete, it shall be
measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.
He went on to say, “Pay attention to what you hear. With the measure you use, it will be measured to you, and even more will be added to you.
And he went up unto them into the ship; and the wind ceased: and they were
sore amazed in themselves beyond
measure, and wondered.
Then He
climbed into the boat with them, and the wind died down. And the disciples were utterly
astounded,
And were beyond
measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the
deaf to hear, and the
dumb to speak.
The people were utterly
astonished and said, “He has done all things well! He makes even the
deaf hear and the
mute speak!”
And they were
astonished out of
measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?
They were even more
astonished and said to one another, “Who then can be saved?”
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good
measure, pressed down, and
shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your
bosom. For with the same
measure that ye
mete withal it shall be
measured to you again.
Give, and it will be given to you. A good
measure, pressed down,
shaken together, and running over will be poured into your
lap. For with the
measure you use, it will be
measured back to you.”
It is like
leaven, which a woman took and
hid in three
measures of meal, till the whole was
leavened.
It is like
leaven that a woman took and mixed into three
measures of flour, until all of it was
leavened.”

Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An hundred
measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and write
fourscore.
Then he asked another, ‘And how much do you owe?’ ‘A hundred measures of wheat,’ he replied. ‘Take your bill and write eighty,’ he told him.

For the One whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit.
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think
soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the
measure of faith.
For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of
yourself more highly than you ought, but think of
yourself with
sober judgment, according to the
measure of faith God has given you.
For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of
measure, above strength,
insomuch that we
despaired even of life:
We do not want you to be unaware, brothers, of the hardships we
encountered in the province of Asia. We were under a burden far beyond our ability to
endure, so that we
despaired even of life.
For we
dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that
commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
We do not
dare to
classify or compare ourselves with some who
commend themselves. When they
measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they show their ignorance.
But we will not
boast of things without our
measure, but according to the
measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us, a
measure to reach even unto you.
We, however, will not
boast beyond our limits, but only within the field of influence that God has assigned to us—a field that reaches even to you.
For we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure, as though we reached not unto you: for we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ:
We are not
overstepping our bounds, as if we had not come to you. Indeed, we were the first to reach you with the gospel of Christ.
Not
boasting of things without our
measure, that is, of other men’s labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly,
Neither do we
boast beyond our limits in the labors of others. But we hope that as your faith increases, our area of influence among you will greatly increase as well,
Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a
fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above
measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths
oft.
Are they servants of Christ? I am speaking like I am out of my mind, but I am so much more: in harder labor, in more imprisonments, in worse beatings, in frequent danger of death.
And lest I should be
exalted above
measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a
thorn in the flesh, the
messenger of
Satan to
buffet me, lest I should be
exalted above
measure.
For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond
measure I
persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:
For you have heard of my former way of life in
Judaism, how severely I
persecuted the church of God and tried to destroy it.
But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
Now to each one of us grace has been given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the
measure of the
stature of the
fulness of Christ:
until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, as we
mature to the full
measure of the
stature of Christ.
From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the
effectual working in the
measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the
edifying of itself in love.
From Him the whole body, fitted and held together by every supporting
ligament, grows and builds itself up in love through the work of each individual part.
And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A
measure of wheat for a
penny, and three
measures of barley for a
penny; and see thou
hurt not the oil and the wine.
And I heard what sounded like a voice from among the four living creatures, saying, “A
quart of wheat for a
denarius, and three quarts of barley for a
denarius, and do not
harm the oil and wine.”
And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

But the court which is without the temple leave out, and
measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they
tread under foot forty and two months.
But
exclude the
courtyard outside the temple. Do not
measure it, because it has been given over to the nations, and they will
trample the holy city for 42 months.
How much she hath
glorified herself, and lived
deliciously, so much
torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
As much as she has
glorified herself and lived in
luxury, give her the same
measure of
torment and grief. In her heart she says, ‘I sit as queen; I am not a widow and will never see grief.’
And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
The angel who spoke with me had a golden measuring rod to measure the city and its gates and walls.
And the city lieth
foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he
measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
The city lies
foursquare, with its width the same as its length. And he
measured the city with the rod, and all its dimensions were equal—12,000
stadia in length and width and height.
And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
And he measured its wall to be 144 cubits, by the human measure the angel was using.
And now in some measure hath mercy been shewed unto us from thee, O Lord, that there should be left us a root and a name in the place of thy sanctuary;
And I said, Tell on, my lord. Then said he unto me, Go thy way,
weigh me the weight of the fire, or
measure me the blast of the wind, or call me again the day that is past.

measure hath he
measured the times; and by number hath he numbered the times; and he
doth not move nor
stir them, until the said
measure be fulfilled.
Or ever the heights of the air were lifted up, before the
measures of the
firmament were named, or ever the
chimneys in
Sion were hot,
He answered me then, and said,
Measure thou the time
diligently in itself: and when thou seest part of the signs past, which I have told thee before,
He searcheth the deep, and the treasures thereof; he hath measured the sea, and what it containeth.

emptied, and they had not water to drink their fill for one day; for they gave them drink by
measure.

persecuted of
vengeance, and scattered abroad through the breath of thy power: but thou hast ordered all things in
measure and number and weight.
