milk and honey; unto the place of the
Canaanites, and the
Hittites, and the
Amorites, and the
Perizzites, and the
Hivites, and the Jebusites.
And it shall be when the LORD shall bring thee into the land of the
Canaanites, and the
Hittites, and the
Amorites, and the
Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he
sware unto thy fathers to give thee, a land flowing with
milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in this month.
And when the LORD brings you into the land of the
Canaanites,
Hittites,
Amorites,
Hivites, and Jebusites—the land He
swore to your fathers that He would give you, a land flowing with
milk and honey—you shall keep this service in this month.
The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not
seethe a
kid in his mother’s
milk.
Bring the best of the firstfruits of your soil to the house of the LORD your God. You must not
cook a young goat in its mother’s
milk.
Unto a land flowing with
milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiffnecked people: lest I
consume thee in the way.
Go up to a land flowing with milk and honey. But I will not go with you, because you are a stiff-necked people; otherwise, I might destroy you on the way.”
The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring unto the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not

milk.”

inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with
milk and honey: I am the LORD your God, which have separated you from other people.
But I have told you that you will
inherit their land, since I will give it to you as an inheritance—a land flowing with
milk and honey. I am the LORD your God, who has set you apart from the peoples.

If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.
If the LORD delights in us, He will bring us into this land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and He will give it to us.
Is it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land that floweth with
milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except thou make
thyself altogether a prince over us?
Is it not enough that you have brought us up out of a land flowing with
milk and honey to kill us in the wilderness? Must you also
appoint yourself as ruler over us?
Moreover thou hast not brought us into a land that floweth with
milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards:
wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up.
Moreover, you have not brought us into a land flowing with
milk and honey or given us an inheritance of fields and vineyards. Will you
gouge out the eyes of these men? No, we will not come!”
Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase
mightily, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with
milk and honey.
Hear, O Israel, and be careful to observe them, so that you may
prosper and multiply greatly in a land flowing with
milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, has promised you.
And that ye may
prolong your days in the land, which the LORD
sware unto your fathers to give unto them and to their seed, a land that floweth with
milk and honey.

swore to your fathers to give them and their descendants, a land flowing with

Ye shall not eat of any thing that dieth of itself: thou shalt give it unto the stranger that is in thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto an
alien: for thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not
seethe a
kid in his mother’s
milk.
You are not to eat any
carcass; you may give it to the foreigner residing within your gates, and he may eat it, or you may sell it to a foreigner. For you are a holy people belonging to the LORD your God. You must not
cook a young goat in its mother’s
milk.

habitation, from heaven, and
bless thy people Israel, and the land which thou hast given us, as thou swarest unto our fathers, a land that floweth with
milk and honey.

habitation, from heaven, and
bless Your people Israel and the land You have given us as You
swore to our fathers—a land flowing with
milk and honey.”
And thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou art passed over, that thou mayest go in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, a land that floweth with milk and honey; as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee.
Write on them all the words of this law when you have crossed over to enter the land that the LORD your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, has promised you.
For when I shall have brought them into the land which I
sware unto their fathers, that floweth with
milk and honey; and they shall have eaten and filled themselves, and
waxen fat; then will they turn unto other gods, and serve them, and
provoke me, and break my covenant.
When I have brought them into the land that I
swore to give their fathers, a land flowing with
milk and honey, they will eat their fill and
prosper. Then they will turn to other gods and worship them, and they will
reject Me and break My covenant.
Butter of
kine, and
milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of
Bashan, and goats, with the fat of
kidneys of wheat; and thou
didst drink the pure blood of the
grape.
with curds from the
herd and
milk from the flock, with the fat of lambs, with rams from
Bashan, and goats, with the choicest grains of wheat. From the juice of the finest grapes you
drank the wine.
For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the people that were men of war, which came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they obeyed not the voice of the LORD: unto whom the LORD
sware that he would not
shew them the land, which the LORD
sware unto their fathers that he would give us, a land that floweth with
milk and honey.
For the Israelites had
wandered in the wilderness forty years, until all the nation’s men of war who had come out of Egypt had died, since they did not obey the LORD. So the LORD
vowed never to let them see the land He had
sworn to their fathers to give us, a land flowing with
milk and honey.

thirsty.” So she opened a container of
milk, gave him a drink, and covered him again.

milk; she brought forth butter in a lordly
dish.

milk. In a magnificent
bowl she brought him curds.
Now therefore make a new
cart, and take two
milch kine, on which there hath come no yoke, and
tie the
kine to the
cart, and bring their
calves home from them:
Now, therefore, prepare one new
cart with two
milk cows that have never been yoked.
Hitch the cows to the
cart, but take their
calves away and pen them up.
Did You not pour me out like
milk, and
curdle me like
cheese?
And thou shalt have goats’ milk enough for thy food, for the food of thy household, and for the maintenance for thy maidens.
You will have
plenty of goats’
milk to feed you— food for your household and
nourishment for your maidservants.
Surely the
churning of
milk bringeth forth butter, and the
wringing of the nose bringeth forth blood: so the forcing of wrath bringeth forth
strife.
For as the
churning of
milk yields butter, and the twisting of the nose draws blood, so the
stirring of anger brings forth
strife.”
Thy lips, O my
spouse, drop as the
honeycomb: honey and
milk are under thy tongue; and the smell of thy garments is like the smell of
Lebanon.
I am come into my garden, my sister, my
spouse: I have gathered my
myrrh with my
spice; I have eaten my
honeycomb with my honey; I have
drunk my wine with my
milk: eat, O friends; drink,
yea, drink abundantly, O beloved.
I have come to my garden, my sister, my
bride; I have gathered my
myrrh with my
spice. I have eaten my
honeycomb with my honey; I have
drunk my wine with my
milk. Eat, O friends, and drink; drink freely, O beloved.

His eyes are like doves beside the streams of water, bathed in milk and mounted like jewels.

Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are
weaned from the
milk, and drawn from the breasts.
Whom is He trying to teach? To whom is He explaining His message? To infants just
weaned from
milk? To
babies removed from the breast?
Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye,
buy, and eat;
yea, come,
buy wine and
milk without money and without price.
“Come, all you who are
thirsty, come to the waters; and you without money, come,
buy, and eat! Come,
buy wine and
milk without money and without cost!
Thou shalt also
suck the
milk of the Gentiles, and shalt
suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy
Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
You will drink the
milk of nations and
nurse at the breasts of
royalty; you will know that I, the LORD, am your
Savior and your
Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
That ye may
suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may
milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.
so that you may
nurse and be satisfied at her comforting breasts; you may drink deeply and delight
yourselves in her glorious abundance.
That I may perform the oath which I have
sworn unto your fathers, to give them a land flowing with
milk and honey, as it is this day. Then answered I, and said, So be it, O LORD.
This was in order to establish the oath I
swore to your forefathers, to give them a land flowing with
milk and honey, as it is to this day.” “
Amen, LORD,” I answered.
And hast given them this land, which thou
didst swear to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with
milk and honey;
You gave them this land that You had
sworn to give their fathers, a land flowing with
milk and honey.
Her
dignitaries were brighter than snow, whiter than
milk; their bodies were more
ruddy than
rubies, their appearance like sapphires.
In the day that I lifted up mine hand unto them, to bring them forth of the land of Egypt into a land that I had
espied for them, flowing with
milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands:
On that day I
swore to bring them out of the land of Egypt into a land that I had searched out for them, a land flowing with
milk and honey, the glory of all lands.
Yet also I lifted up my hand unto them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands;
Moreover, with an
uplifted hand I
swore to them in the wilderness that I would not bring them into the land that I had given them—a land flowing with
milk and honey, the glory of all lands—
Behold, therefore I will deliver thee to the men of the east for a possession, and they shall set their palaces in thee, and make their dwellings in thee: they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk.
therefore I will indeed give you as a possession to the people of the East. They will set up their camps and pitch their tents among you. They will eat your fruit and drink your milk.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with
milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of
Shittim.
And in that day the mountains will
drip with sweet wine, and the hills will flow with
milk. All the streams of Judah will run with water, and a spring will flow from the house of the LORD to water the Valley of
Acacias.
I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for solid food. In fact, you are still not ready,
Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a
vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the
milk of the flock?
Who serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a
vineyard and does not eat of its fruit? Who tends a flock and does not drink of its
milk?
For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
Although by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to reteach you the
basic principles of God’s word. You need
milk, not solid food!
For every one that useth
milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a
babe.
For
everyone who lives on
milk is still an infant, inexperienced in the message of righteousness.
As
newborn babes, desire the
sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
Like
newborn babies,
crave pure spiritual
milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation,
And as many fountains flowing with
milk and honey, and seven mighty mountains,
whereupon there grow roses and
lilies, whereby I will fill thy children with joy.

milk, and the blood of the
grape, and oil, and clothing.

heritage, even unto the land that floweth with
milk and honey.
Wherefore the evils
cleaved unto us, and the
curse, which the Lord appointed by Moses his servant at the time that he brought our fathers out of the land of Egypt, to give us a land that floweth with
milk and honey, like as it is to see this day.
