tidings, I took hold of him, and
slew him in
Ziklag, who thought that I would have given him a reward for his

Ziklag. That was his reward for his
news!

tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household.

When the report reaches Egypt, they will
writhe in

O
Zion, that bringest good
tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good
tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!
Go up on a high mountain, O
Zion,
herald of good
news. Raise your voice loudly, O Jerusalem,
herald of good
news. Lift it up, do not be afraid! Say to the cities of Judah, “Here is your God!”
The first shall say to
Zion, Behold, behold them: and I will give to Jerusalem one that bringeth good
tidings.
I was the first to tell
Zion: ‘Look, here they are!’ And I gave to Jerusalem a
herald of good
news.
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good
tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good
tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto
Zion, Thy God reigneth!
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good
news, who
proclaim peace, who bring good
tidings, who
proclaim salvation, who say to
Zion, “Your God reigns!”
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath
anointed me to
preach good
tidings unto the
meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to
proclaim liberty to the
captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is on Me, because the LORD has
anointed Me to
preach good
news to the poor. He has sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted, to
proclaim liberty to the
captives and freedom to the prisoners,

tidings to my father, saying, A man child is born unto thee; making him very
glad.

news, saying, “A son is born to you,” bringing him great joy.
And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the
tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall
melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall
faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord GOD.
And when they ask, ‘Why are you
groaning?’ you are to say, ‘Because of the
news that is coming. Every heart will
melt, and every hand will go
limp. Every spirit will
faint, and every
knee will turn to water.’
Yes, it is coming and it will surely happen, declares the Lord GOD.”

But
tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great
fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.
But
news from the east and the north will
alarm him, and he will go out with great
fury to destroy many and
devote them to destruction.
Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good
tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.

news, who proclaims peace!
Celebrate your feasts, O Judah;
fulfill your vows. For the wicked will never again march through you; they will be utterly cut off.
There is no
healing of thy
bruise; thy wound is
grievous: all that hear the
bruit of thee shall
clap the hands over thee: for upon whom hath not thy wickedness passed continually?
There is no
healing for your injury; your wound is severe. All who hear the
news of you
applaud your
downfall, for who has not experienced your constant cruelty?
And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with
divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the
palsy; and he
healed them.
News about Him spread all over Syria, and people brought to Him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering acute pain, the
demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the
paralyzed—and He
healed them.
And the fame
hereof went abroad into all that land.
And the news about this spread throughout that region.

lame walk, the lepers are
cleansed, and the

The blind receive sight, the
lame walk, the lepers are
cleansed, the
deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good
news is preached to the poor.
And immediately his fame spread abroad throughout all the region round about
Galilee.
And the
news about Jesus spread quickly through the whole region of
Galilee.
But he went out, and began to
publish it much, and to
blaze abroad the matter,
insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter.
But the man went out and openly began to
proclaim and spread the
news. Consequently, Jesus could no longer enter a town in plain view, but He stayed out in solitary places. Yet people came to Him from every quarter.
And the apostles gathered themselves together unto Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught.

Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to

news.
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good
tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid! For behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people:
And many other things in his
exhortation preached he unto the people.
With these and many other exhortations, John proclaimed the good news to the people.
And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into
Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and the
news about Him spread throughout the surrounding region.
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath
anointed me to
preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to
heal the brokenhearted, to
preach deliverance to the
captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are
bruised,
“The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has
anointed Me to
preach good
news to the poor. He has sent Me to
proclaim liberty to the
captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to release the
oppressed,
And the fame of him went out into every place of the country round about.
And the news about Jesus spread throughout the surrounding region.
And he said unto them, I must
preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.
But Jesus told them, “I must
preach the good
news of the kingdom of God to the other towns as well, because that is why I was sent.”
But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be
healed by him of their
infirmities.
But the
news about Jesus spread all the more, and great crowds came to hear Him and to be
healed of their sicknesses.
And this rumour of him went forth throughout all Judaea, and throughout all the region round about.
And the
news about Jesus spread throughout
Judea and all the surrounding region.
Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the
lame walk, the lepers are
cleansed, the
deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.
So He replied, “Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind receive sight, the
lame walk, the lepers are
cleansed, the
deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good
news is preached to the poor.
And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and
shewing the
glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him,
Soon afterward, Jesus traveled from one town and village to another, preaching and
proclaiming the good
news of the kingdom of God. The Twelve were with Him,
And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth.
And while he was still on the way, his servants met him with the news that his boy was alive.
And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and
preach Jesus Christ.
Every day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they did not stop teaching and
proclaiming the good
news that Jesus is the Christ.
Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
Then Philip began with this very Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus.
And some of them were men of
Cyprus and
Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Grecians, preaching the Lord Jesus.
But some of them, men from
Cyprus and
Cyrene, went to Antioch and began speaking to the Greeks as well,
proclaiming the good
news about the Lord Jesus.
Then
tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth
Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.
When
news of this reached the ears of the church in Jerusalem, they sent
Barnabas to Antioch.
And we declare unto you
glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,
And now we
proclaim to you the good
news: What God promised our fathers
And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and
preach unto you that ye should turn from these
vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:
“Men, why are you doing this? We too are only men, human like you. We are bringing you good news that you should turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made heaven and earth and sea and everything in them.
Then certain philosophers of the
Epicureans, and of the Stoicks,
encountered him. And some said, What will this
babbler say? other some, He seemeth to be a
setter forth of strange gods: because he preached unto them Jesus, and the resurrection.
Some
Epicurean and
Stoic philosophers also began to
debate with him. Some of them asked, “What is this
babbler trying to say?” Others said, “He seems to be advocating foreign gods.” They said this because Paul was
proclaiming the good
news of Jesus and the resurrection.
But none of these things move me, neither count I my life
dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to
testify the gospel of the grace of God.
But I consider my life of no value to me, if only I may finish my course and complete the ministry I have received from the Lord Jesus—the ministry of
testifying to the good
news of God’s grace.
And how shall they
preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that
preach the gospel of peace, and bring
glad tidings of good things!
And how can they
preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good
news!”
But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
But not all of them
welcomed the good
news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?”
All my state shall
Tychicus declare unto you, who is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellowservant in the Lord:
Tychicus will tell you all the
news about me. He is a beloved brother, a faithful minister, and a fellow servant in the Lord.
But now when
Timotheus came from you unto us, and brought us good
tidings of your faith and charity, and that ye have good
remembrance of us always, desiring greatly to see us, as we also to see you:
But just now,
Timothy has returned from his visit with the good
news about your faith, your love, and the fond
memories you have preserved, longing to see us just as we long to see you.
For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
For we also received the good
news just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, since they did not share the faith of those who
comprehended it.
Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
Since, then, it remains for some to enter His rest, and since those who formerly heard the good news did not enter because of their disobedience,
Now when he came to Ecbatane,
news was brought him what had happened unto Nicanor and
Timotheus.
