ugly cows in all the land of Egypt!

poor, and cannot get so much; then he shall take one lamb for a
trespass offering to be waved, to make an

atonement for him, along with a tenth of an
ephah of fine flour mixed with olive oil for a grain offering, a log of olive oil,

glean thy
vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every

poor and the foreigner. I am the LORD your God.

kin may come and
redeem what his brother has sold.

waxen poor, and fallen in decay with thee; then thou shalt
relieve him:

poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not

harden your heart or shut your hand from your
poor brother.

poor brother, and thou givest him
nought; and he cry unto the LORD against thee, and it be sin unto thee.
Be careful not to
harbor this wicked thought in your heart: “The seventh year, the year of release, is near,” so that you look upon your
poor brother begrudgingly and give him nothing. He will cry out to the LORD against you, and you will be guilty of sin.

poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the
beggar from the
dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them
inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’S, and he hath set the world upon them.
He raises the
poor from the dust and lifts the
needy from the ash
heap. He seats them among princes and bestows on them a throne of honor. For the foundations of the earth are the LORD’s, and upon them He has set the world.

poor man had nothing, save one little
ewe lamb, which he had bought and
nourished up: and it grew up together with him, and with his children; it did eat of his own meat, and
drank of his own cup, and lay in his
bosom, and was unto him as a daughter.

poor man had nothing except one small
ewe lamb that he had bought. He raised it, and it grew up with him and his children. It shared his food and
drank from his cup; it
slept in his arms and was like a daughter to him.

poor.

asses in the desert, go they forth to their work; rising

poor and
needy, and in the night is as a

Because I delivered the
poor that
cried, and the fatherless, and him that had none to help him.
because I
rescued the
poor who
cried out and the fatherless who had no helper.

withheld the
poor from their desire, or have caused the eyes of the widow to fail;

if I have seen one perish for lack of clothing, or a

poor to come unto him, and he heareth the cry of the
afflicted.

He sitteth in the
lurking places of the villages: in the secret places
doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are
privily set against the
poor.
He lies in wait near the villages; in
ambush he slays the innocent; his eyes watch in
stealth for the helpless.
He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the
poor: he
doth catch the
poor, when he draweth him into his net.
He lies in wait like a lion in a
thicket; he lurks to seize the
oppressed; he catches the lowly in his net.

They are
crushed and beaten down; the

For the oppression of the
poor, for the
sighing of the

needy, I will now arise,” says the LORD. “I will bring safety to him who yearns.”

forever!
This
poor man
cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
This poor man called out, and the LORD heard him; He saved him from all his troubles.
All my bones shall say, LORD, who is like unto thee, which deliverest the
poor from him that is too strong for him,
yea, the
poor and the
needy from him that spoileth him?
The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the
poor and
needy, and to
slay such as be of upright conversation.

poor and
needy, to
slay those whose ways are upright.
But I am
poor and
needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no
tarrying, O my God.

poor and
needy; may the Lord think of me. You are my helper and deliverer; O my God, do not delay.
Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.

both low and high, rich and poor alike.
Thy congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor.
Your flock settled therein; O God, from Your
bounty You provided for the
poor.
But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.
But I am in pain and distress; let Your salvation protect me, O God.
For the LORD heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners.
But I am
poor and
needy: make
haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no
tarrying.
But I am
poor and
needy;
hurry to me, O God. You are my help and my deliverer; O LORD, do not delay.

May he judge Your people with righteousness and Your
afflicted with justice.

poor of the people, he shall save the children of the
needy, and shall break in pieces the
oppressor.
For he shall deliver the
needy when he crieth; the
poor also, and him that hath no helper.
For he will deliver the
needy who cry out and the
afflicted who have no helper.

turtledove unto the multitude of the wicked:

poor and fatherless: do justice to the
afflicted and
needy.

poor and
needy.

poor and
needy, and my heart is wounded within me.

poor, to save him from those that
condemn his soul.

dispersed, he hath given to the
poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be
exalted with honour.
He has scattered abroad his gifts to the
poor; his righteousness endures
forever; his horn will be lifted high in honor.
He raiseth up the
poor out of the dust, and lifteth the
needy out of the
dunghill;
He raises the
poor from the dust and lifts the
needy from the

bless her provision: I will satisfy her
poor with bread.

bless her with abundant provisions; I will satisfy her
poor with bread.

afflicted, and the right of the
poor.

The
ransom of a man’s life are his riches: but the
poor heareth not
rebuke.

ransom a man’s life, but a
poor man hears no
threat.

tillage of the
poor: but there is that is destroyed for want of judgment.
Abundant food is in the
fallow ground of the
poor, but without justice it is swept away.

poor is
hated even of his own neighbour: but the rich hath many friends.

poor man is
hated even by his
neighbor, but many are those who love the rich.

neighbor sins, but blessed is he who shows kindness to the
poor.
He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor.

poor reproacheth his Maker: and he that is
glad at
calamities shall not be unpunished.

calamity will not go unpunished.
