For this city hath been to me as a
provocation of mine anger and of my
fury from the day that they built it even unto this day; that I should remove it from before my face,
For this city has
aroused My wrath and
fury from the day it was built until now. Therefore I will remove it from My
presence For through the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, till he had cast them out from his
presence, that
Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
For because of the anger of the LORD, all this happened in Jerusalem and Judah, until He finally banished them from His
presence. And
Zedekiah also rebelled against the king of Babylon.
Arise, cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the Lord: lift up thy hands toward him for the life of thy young children, that
faint for hunger in the top of every street.
Arise, cry out in the night from the first watch of the night. Pour out your heart like water in the
presence of the Lord. Lift up your hands to Him for the lives of your children who are
fainting from hunger on the corner of every street.
The anger of the LORD hath divided them; he will no more regard them: they respected not the persons of the priests, they favoured not the elders.

And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou
dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a
rebellious house.
But you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words. Do not be afraid, though briers and thorns
surround you, and you dwell among scorpions. Do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by their
presence, though they are a
rebellious house.
As an
adamant harder than flint have I made thy
forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a
rebellious house.
I will make your
forehead like a
diamond, harder than flint. Do not be afraid of them or dismayed at their
presence, even though they are a
rebellious house.”
Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.
Will you still say, ‘I am a god,’ in the
presence of those who
slay you? You will be only a man, not a god, in the hands of those who wound you.
So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all
creeping things that
creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall
shake at my
presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.
The fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the beasts of the field, every creature that crawls upon the ground, and all mankind on the face of the earth will
tremble at My
presence. The mountains will be thrown down, the cliffs will
collapse, and every wall will fall to the ground.
It is for the prince; the prince, he shall sit in it to eat bread before the LORD; he shall enter by the way of the
porch of that gate, and shall go out by the way of the same.
Only the prince himself may sit inside the
gateway to eat in the
presence of the LORD. He must enter by way of the
portico of the
gateway and go out the same way.”
Daniel answered in the
presence of the king, and said, The secret which the king hath demanded cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers,

magician can explain to the king the
mystery of which he inquires.
But at the last Daniel came in before me, whose name was Belteshazzar, according to the name of my god, and in whom is the spirit of the holy gods: and before him I told the dream, saying,
But at last, into my presence came Daniel (whose name is Belteshazzar after the name of my god, and in whom is the spirit of the holy gods). And I told him the dream:
A
fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
A river of fire was flowing, coming out from His
presence. Thousands upon thousands attended Him, and myriads upon myriads stood before Him. The court was

And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can
abide it?

dreadful. Who can
endure it?

Jonah rose up to
flee unto
Tarshish from the
presence of the LORD, and went down to

Tarshish from the
presence of the LORD.
Then were the men exceedingly afraid, and said unto him, Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the LORD, because he had told them.

fleeing from the
presence of the LORD, because he had told them.
They shall
lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee.
They will
lick the dust like a
snake, like reptiles slithering on the ground. They will
crawl from their holes in the
presence of the LORD our God; they will
tremble in fear of You.
The mountains
quake at him, and the hills
melt, and the earth is burned at his
presence,
yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.

quake before Him, and the hills
melt away; the earth trembles at His
presence— the world and all its dwellers.

But when thou art
bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that
bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the
presence of them that sit at meat with thee.

everyone at the table with you.

accuse him:

presence, so that you also may be where I am.

blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the
presence of the Lord;

warned from God by an holy angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear words of thee.

Cornelius the
centurion has sent us,” they said. “He is a righteous and God-fearing man with a good reputation among the whole Jewish nation. A holy angel
instructed him to request your
presence in his home so he could hear a message from you.”
Immediately therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well done that thou art come. Now therefore are we all here present before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee of God.
So I sent for you immediately, and you were kind enough to come. Now then, we are all here in the
presence of God to
listen to everything the Lord has

rejoicing? Are not even ye in the
presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?

boasting, if it is not you
yourselves in the
presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming?
For what
thanks can we render to God again for you, for all the joy
wherewith we joy for your sakes before our God;
How can we adequately
thank God for you in return for our great joy over you in His
presence?

Pilate witnessed a good confession;

presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who made the good confession in His testimony before Pontius
Pilate:
I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of His appearing and His kingdom:
