Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall
vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my
salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look at the earth below; for the heavens will
vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out like a garment, and its people will die like gnats. But My
salvation will last
forever, and My righteousness will never fail.
For the
moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my
salvation from generation to generation.
For the
moth will
devour them like a garment, and the worm will eat them like wool. But My righteousness will last
forever, My
salvation through all generations.”
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good
tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good
tidings of good, that publisheth
salvation; that saith unto
Zion, Thy God reigneth!
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who
proclaim peace, who bring good
tidings, who
proclaim salvation, who say to
Zion, “Your God reigns!”
The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

This is what the LORD says: “Maintain justice and do what is right, for My salvation is coming soon, and My righteousness will be revealed.
We
roar all like bears, and
mourn sore like doves: we look for judgment, but there is none; for
salvation, but it is far off from us.
We all
growl like bears and
moan like doves. We hope for justice, but find none, for
salvation, but it is far from us.
And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no
intercessor: therefore his arm brought
salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.
He saw that there was no man; He was
amazed that there was no one to
intercede. So His own arm brought
salvation, and His own righteousness sustained Him.
For he put on righteousness as a
breastplate, and an
helmet of
salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of
vengeance for clothing, and was
clad with zeal as a
cloke.
Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.
No longer will violence be heard in your land, nor ruin or destruction within your borders. But you will name your walls Salvation and your gates Praise.
I will greatly
rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of
salvation, he hath covered me with the
robe of righteousness, as a
bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a
bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
I will
rejoice greatly in the LORD, my soul will
exult in my God; for He has clothed me with garments of
salvation and
wrapped me in a
robe of righteousness, as a
bridegroom wears a priestly
headdress, as a
bride adorns herself with her jewels.
For
Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the
salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.
For
Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep still, until her righteousness shines like a bright light, her
salvation like a
blazing torch.
Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of

Zion: See, your
Savior comes! Look, His reward is with Him, and His
recompense goes before Him.”
And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to
uphold: therefore mine own arm brought
salvation unto me; and my
fury, it
upheld me.
I looked, but there was no one to help; I was
appalled that no one assisted. So My arm brought Me
salvation, and My own wrath
upheld Me.
Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, and from the multitude of mountains: truly in the LORD our God is the salvation of Israel.
Surely
deception comes from the hills, and
commotion from the mountains. Surely the
salvation of Israel is in the LORD our God.
It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.
It is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.
But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of
thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have
vowed.
Salvation is of the LORD.
But I, with the voice of
thanksgiving, will sacrifice to You. I will
fulfill what I have
vowed.
Salvation is from the LORD!”

Was the LORD displeased against the rivers? was thine anger against the rivers? was thy wrath against the sea, that thou
didst ride upon thine horses and thy
chariots of
salvation?
Were You
angry at the rivers, O LORD? Was Your wrath against the streams? Did You
rage against the sea when You
rode on Your horses, on Your
chariots of
salvation?
Thou wentest forth for the
salvation of thy people, even for
salvation with thine
anointed; thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck.
Selah.
You went forth for the
salvation of Your people, to save Your
anointed. You
crushed the head of the house of the wicked and
stripped him from head to
toe.
Selah Yet I will
rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my
salvation.
yet I will
exult in the LORD; I will
rejoice in the God of my
salvation!
Rejoice greatly, O daughter of
Zion;
shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having
salvation; lowly, and riding upon an
ass, and upon a
colt the
foal of an
ass.
Rejoice greatly, O Daughter of
Zion!
Shout in triumph, O Daughter of Jerusalem! See, your King comes to you, righteous and victorious, humble and riding on a
donkey, on a
colt, the
foal of a
donkey.
And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;
He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David,
That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that
hate us;
salvation from our enemies and from the hand of all who
hate us,
To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,
to give to His people the knowledge of
salvation through the
forgiveness of their sins,
For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,
For my eyes have seen Your salvation,
And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.
And all humanity will see God’s salvation.’”

Salvation exists in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”
Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and
whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this
salvation sent.
Brothers, children of Abraham, and you Gentiles who fear God, it is to us that this message of salvation has been sent.
For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
For this is what the Lord has commanded us: ‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles, to bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’”
The same followed Paul and us, and
cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which
shew unto us the way of
salvation.
This
girl followed Paul and the rest of us,
shouting, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who are
proclaiming to you the way of
salvation!”
Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.
Be
advised, therefore, that God’s
salvation has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will
listen!”
For I am not
ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto
salvation to every one that believeth; to the
Jew first, and also to the Greek.
I am not
ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for
salvation to
everyone who believes, first to the
Jew, then to the Greek.

stumbled that they should fall? God
forbid: but rather through their fall

provoke them to jealousy.

stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Certainly not! However, because of their
trespass,
salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel
jealous.
And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to
awake out of sleep: for now is our
salvation nearer than when we believed.

wake up from your
slumber, for our
salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.

afflicted, it is for your comfort and

For godly sorrow worketh
repentance to
salvation not to be
repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
Godly sorrow brings
repentance that leads to
salvation without
regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
And in Him, having heard and believed the word of truth—the gospel of your salvation—you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,
And take the
helmet of
salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
And take the
helmet of
salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

because I know that through your prayers and the provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, my distress will turn out for my
deliverance.

frightened in any way by those who
oppose you. This is a clear sign of their destruction but of your
salvation, and it is from God.
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own
salvation with fear and
trembling.
Therefore, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now even more in my absence, continue to work out your
salvation with fear and
trembling.
But let us, who are of the day, be
sober, putting on the
breastplate of faith and love; and for an
helmet, the hope of
salvation.
But since we belong to the day, let us be
sober, putting on the
breastplate of faith and love, and the
helmet of our hope of
salvation.
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
For God has not appointed us to suffer wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.
But we are bound to give
thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to
salvation through
sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
But we should always
thank God for you, brothers who are loved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning to be saved by the
sanctification of the Spirit and by faith in the truth.
Therefore I
endure all things for the
elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the
salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
For this reason I
endure all things for the sake of the
elect, so that they too may obtain the
salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory.

inherit salvation?
How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
how shall we escape if we neglect such a great
salvation? This
salvation was first
announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard Him,
For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
In bringing many sons to glory, it was fitting for God, for whom and through whom all things exist, to make the author of their salvation perfect through suffering.
And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
And having been made perfect, He became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey Him

accompany salvation, though we thus speak.

await Him.

salvation, the prophets who
foretold the grace to come to you searched and investigated carefully,

newborn babes, desire the
sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

newborn babies,
crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your
salvation,

longsuffering of our Lord is
salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
Consider also that our Lord’s
patience brings
salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom God gave him.
Beloved, when I gave all
diligence to write unto you of the common
salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and
exhort you that ye should earnestly
contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
Beloved, although I made every effort to write to you about the
salvation we share, I felt it necessary to write and
urge you to
contend earnestly for the faith entrusted once for all to the saints.
And
cried with a loud voice, saying,
Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

cried out in a loud voice: “
Salvation to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come
salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the
accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

Hallelujah!
Salvation and glory and power belong to our God!
Whosoever remaineth from all these that I have told thee shall escape, and see my
salvation, and the end of your world.
That there should not be such
heaviness in their destruction, as shall be joy over them that are persuaded to
salvation.
But I will
rejoice over the disposition of the righteous, and I will remember also their
pilgrimage, and the
salvation, and the reward, that they shall have.
Shall be preserved from the said perils, and shall see my
salvation in my land, and within my borders: for I have
sanctified them for me from the beginning.

salvation of Israel to

When they see it, they shall be troubled with terrible fear, and shall be
amazed at the strangeness of his
salvation, so far beyond all that they looked for.
But they were troubled for a small season, that they might be
admonished, having a sign of
salvation, to put them in
remembrance of the commandment of thy law.

salvation.

shrunk for fear of him, and all the workers of iniquity were troubled, because
salvation prospered in his hand.
