saw the
venomous beast
hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet

When I
saw that they were not walking in line with the truth of the gospel, I said to

tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he
saw and heard)—
Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking with me. And having turned, I saw seven golden lampstands,
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. But He placed His right hand on me and said, “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last,
The
mystery of the seven stars which thou
sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou
sawest are the seven churches.
This is the
mystery of the seven stars you
saw in My right hand and of the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.
After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a
trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up
hither, and I will
shew thee things which must be
hereafter.
After this I looked and
saw a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had previously heard speak to me like a
trumpet was saying, “Come up here, and I will show you what must happen after these things.”
And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
At once I was in the Spirit, and I saw a throne standing in heaven, with someone seated on it.
And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I
saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white
raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and on these thrones sat twenty-four elders dressed in white, with golden crowns on their heads.
And I
saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the
backside, sealed with seven seals.
Then I
saw a
scroll in the right hand of the One seated on the throne. It had writing on both sides and was sealed with seven seals.
And I
saw a strong angel
proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
And I
saw a mighty angel
proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the
scroll?”
And I
beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
Then I
saw a Lamb who appeared to have been slain, standing in the center of the throne,
encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which represent the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
And I
saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of
thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
Then I watched as the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say in a
thunderous voice, “Come!”
And I
saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth
conquering, and to
conquer.
So I looked and
saw a white horse, and its rider held a bow. And he was given a crown, and he
rode out to overcome and
conquer.
And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I
beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
And when the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” Then I looked and saw a black horse, and its rider held in his hand a pair of scales.
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and
Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
Then I looked and saw a pale green horse. Its rider’s name was Death, and Hades followed close behind. And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill by sword, by famine, by plague, and by the beasts of the earth.
And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
And when the Lamb opened the fifth seal, I
saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony they had
upheld.
And I
beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great
earthquake; and the sun became black as
sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
And when I
saw the Lamb open the sixth seal, there was a great
earthquake, and the sun became black like
sackcloth of goat hair, and the whole moon turned blood red,
And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back its four winds so that no wind would blow on land or sea or on any tree.
And I
saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he
cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to
hurt the earth and the sea,
And I
saw another angel ascending from the east, with the seal of the living God. And he called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to
harm the land and the sea:
After this I
beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
After this I looked and saw a multitude too large to count, from every nation and tribe and people and tongue, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and holding palm branches in their hands.
And I
saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven
trumpets.
And I
saw the seven angels who stand before God, and they were given seven
trumpets.
And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
Then the fifth angel sounded his
trumpet, and I
saw a star that had fallen from heaven to earth, and it was given the key to the pit of the
Abyss.
And thus I
saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of
jacinth, and
brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and
brimstone.
Now the horses and riders in my vision looked like this: The riders had breastplates the colors of fire,
sapphire, and sulfur. The heads of the horses were like the heads of lions, and out of their mouths proceeded fire, smoke, and sulfur.
And I
saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a
rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
Then I
saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven,
wrapped in a cloud, with a
rainbow above his head. His face was like the sun, and his legs were like pillars of fire.
And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
Then the angel I had seen standing on the sea and on the land lifted up his right hand to heaven.
And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
But after the three and a half days, the breath of life from God entered the two witnesses, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell upon those who saw them.
And when the
dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he
persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
And when the
dragon saw that he had been thrown to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child.
And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and
saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of
blasphemy.
Then I
saw a beast with ten horns and seven heads rising out of the sea. There were ten royal crowns on its horns and
blasphemous names on its heads.
And the beast which I
saw was like unto a
leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the
dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
The beast I
saw was like a
leopard, with the feet of a bear and the mouth of a lion. And the
dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority.
And I
saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was
healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
One of the heads of the beast appeared to be
mortally wounded. But the
mortal wound was
healed, and the whole world
marveled and followed the beast.
And I
beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a
dragon.
Then I
saw another beast rising out of the earth. This beast had two horns like a lamb, but spoke like a
dragon.
And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount
Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.
Then I looked and
saw the Lamb standing on Mount
Zion, and with Him 144,000 who had His name and His Father’s name written on their foreheads.
And I
saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the
everlasting gospel to
preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
Then I
saw another angel flying overhead, with the eternal gospel to
proclaim to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation and tribe and tongue and people.
And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp
sickle.
And I looked and
saw a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was One like the Son of Man, with a golden crown on His head and a sharp
sickle in His hand.
And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.
Then I
saw another great and
marvelous sign in heaven: seven angels with the seven final plagues, with which the wrath of God is completed.
And I
saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had
gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
And I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, beside which stood those who had conquered the beast and its image and the number of its name. They were holding harps from God,
And I
saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the
dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
And I
saw three unclean spirits that looked like frogs coming out of the mouths of the
dragon, the beast, and the false prophet.
So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I
saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of
blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
And the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness, where I
saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with
blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns.
And I
saw the woman
drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I
saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
I could see that the woman was
drunk with the blood of the saints and witnesses for Jesus. And I was utterly
amazed at the sight of her.
