child among you shall be
circumcised.
This is My covenant with you and your descendants after you, which you are to keep: Every male among you must be
circumcised.
And he that is eight days old shall be
circumcised among you, every man

Generation after generation, every male must be

But if any male is not
circumcised, he will be cut off from his people; he has broken My covenant.”

For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

child. And she sat over against him, and lift up her voice, and

swear unto me here by God that thou
wilt not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son’s son: but according to the kindness that I have done unto thee, thou shalt do unto me, and to the land wherein thou hast

children or descendants. Show to me and to the country in which you reside the same kindness that I have shown to you.”

nursing their young. If they are driven hard for even a day, all the animals will die.
Let my lord, I pray thee, pass over before his servant: and I will lead on softly, according as the cattle that goeth before me and the
children be able to

midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men
children alive.
The
midwives, however, feared God and did not do as the king of Egypt had
instructed; they let the boys live.
And the king of Egypt called for the
midwives, and said unto them, Why have ye done this thing, and have saved the men
children alive?
